Would highly recommend Smart Gas following the service I have recently received from them. I got in contact with them as my boiler wasn't working, the next day Jacob came out and checked the boiler. It wasn't good news which I fully expected as it was 15 years old! Dave rang me that night to discuss my options and gave me honest advice about which boiler would be best for my needs and budget. 3 days later and I have a new boiler installed. Superb service from start to finish, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Gave me training on how to operate the new boiler and they left the area fully cleaned and tidied. Would highly recommend and will be first port of call for all work of this nature in the future. Thank you so much

Found this company online, I was trying to find a company in the area of the city that I live in that was top-rated and went off the positive Google reviews to make my choice. This company seem to value their client base and both David & Jacob were very professional. David dealt with my query and was pleasant throughout, gave me a rough quote; he even tried to fit me in a few days earlier than I had anticipated. Jacob fitted a pan connector for us, he was friendly, tidy, informative and wore a mask and overshoes whilst in my home which I appreciated, you also get a message to advise they are so many minutes away and this was adhered to, he was very punctual. I will definitely use Smart Gas again for any gas and plumbing needs.

Thank you for servicing our boilier and fixing the faults quickly and with no hassle. Arrived at the agreed time, sending a courtesy text shortly. Wouldn't use any other company and highly recommend to others. Thank you once again Smart Gas Ltd! We contacted Smart Gas Ltd after they were highly recommended to us. I am so glad we did. After months of an issue with our boiler and several different plumbers having looked at it, the issue has finally been resolved by Smart Gas Ltd and we have had a big weight lifted off our shoulders. Both Dave and Jacob were very professional at all times, respected that we were in a pandemic at all times and got the job done in one day. Jacob made sure that we were fully aware of what work he had carried out and gave us a thorough explanation. Jacob made sure that he had tidied all areas were he had been working. After my old boiler finally gave up on us, I called Dave at Smart Gas who came around right away and gave us a really good quote for a new Ideal Vogue Max 40Kw Combi boiler installed with a Smart Thermostat and flush of the system. Jake commenced the Job a couple of days later, was knowledgeable, professional and carried out the replacement in a timely manner, tidying up all the mess afterwards and going above and beyond during the installation. I Would highly recommend Smart Gas, and will be using them in the future.

I asked for my old boiler and system to be removed from downstairs and a new efficient Combi boiler (Ideal Vogue C32 Max) installed upstairs in a bathroom cupboard. David and his team were brilliant from start to finish. I was kept informed at all stages of the work over two and a half days and the result was very thorough and highly professional. Jake and Dillon are the hardest working plumbers I've ever seen. They were considerate, friendly, polite and very skilled in their trade. They exceeded my expectations. And clean up very well after each days work! David was prompt with his competitive and detailed quote and took great care to ensure I understood every aspect of the work. I took out an annual Service contract on completion because of my positive impression of Smart Gas. Its always been difficult to find a reliable and trusted plumber but I believe I've found it in Smart Gas who have demonstrated great skill, great customer service and positive integrity and transparency in how they operate. I would recommend Smart Gas without hesitation.

Smart Gas recently replaced our very old boiler with a condensing boiler fitted on an outside wall. They also fitted a wireless room thermostat and new shower. and replaced one old radiator. The work was done by Jacob over 3 days. He worked very hard and skilfully,, laid down clean sheeting over carpets etc., and thoroughly cleaned/vacuumed up after him each day... All the old equipment, e.g. boiler, flu etc., were removed by them. Totally satisfied with them and their work and the whole system is operating very well..

I have now used Smart Gas for two jobs: a full bathroom re-fit and a conversion to a combi-boiler. Both jobs were completed on time and to a high standard. Unlike some traders, they come when they say they’re coming! But what really marks this company out is their customer service. They take time to keep you informed and to explain what is involved with the work. And they do this in a patient and courteous manner. Their aftercare (i.e. after work has been completed and paid for) is excellent. There are some traders that I would not have in my house again – Smart Gas are the complete opposite.

Exceptional customer service from start to finish. The plumber arrived on time, was very smartly presented, and was attentive throughout. His knowledge was apparent, and although he didn't rush the work, he got the job done quickly and without fuss. It was expected that there would be a little mess, but this was kept to a minimum, and was cleaned up very quickly. The area appeared cleaner after the visit than it was before 😊 During the three years we have been extending and renovating our home, we have encountered a lot of tradesmen, and although we have worked with many highly skilled/experienced workers, we have struggled to find reliable people who are easily contactable and more importantly turn up when they say they will. It looks like we've finally found a plumber who ticks all of the boxes, and I'm hoping they will now be our plumbers for life.

We used Smart Gas Ltd in 2021 for a complete re-fit of our family bathroom, we’d not used them before, they were recommended to us by a family friend. Following a visit, David provided us with an initial quote and worked with us to ensure it was within our budget. The work was scheduled, David kept us to date as the date approached. David and Jacob are the cleanest and tidiest trades people I have ever met! They arrived as agreed each day, completed the work scheduled for that day, and despite not finishing until around 6 pm each day, they ensured they cleaned up all the mess from the day’s work. As with any building work, there were complications during the process (delays on materials was the main one, out of anyone’s control), however, David kept us fully informed and ensured that the work still progressed. The re-fit was completed a day ahead of schedule and within the agreed quotation. David and Jacob both worked to a very high standard, we are very pleased with the end result and would fully recommend David, Jacob and Smart Gas Ltd to anyone.

Very impressed by this company. Rapid response to my initial phone query (NO answer phone recorded message!!) and job arranged the following morning at a time to suit me at a reasonable price. Plumber arrived at the booked time and before he started on the work he carefully laid a full run of dust covers from the front door to the bathroom. Absolutely thrilled at the service given by Smart Gas. Our boiler conked out late Sunday night. We've always had a nightmare getting someone to respond. let alone actually turn up so I was completely panicked as I've 3 children and our house is old and drafty! But Dave got back to us immediately, came round on the Monday, found the fault and gave us a free, no obligation quote to sort it. The quote was very reasonable so we said yes and he came round exactly when he said he would the next day (after the part had arrived) and did the job within 40 minutes. He was so friendly and so neat and tidy too! Can't believe how quickly and efficiently everything was done and now I don't need to panic in the future, if I ever need work doing again. A fabulous job done on my boiler service, power flush and installation of 2 new radiators and some thermostatic valves. The company were extremely prompt on the day, communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Believe me, I am fussy! All paperwork was sent electronically - this is so useful and prevents a search. The two guys who did the radiators/power flush were polite, professional and super tidy. They minimised any disruption and were very considerate whilst working in my property. They covered all my carpets and even hoovered up with their own appliance afterwards.
