On arrival at the coach pick up point the meet and greet service was excellent. Two girls met us and they were very helpful. The coach to the site was very nice and very clean. On arrival at the Emmerdale site it was chaotic, we were held on the bus for 15 minutes before being allowed disembark. We purchased a cup of coffee from the catering facility, this was both very expensive and the quality of the coffee was appalling - we threw it away, what a waste of money. Jacob was our guide and he was very informative. We both enjoyed the visit to the site and seeing the various sites and filming locations. Returning to the coach pick up point there was no coach available. I need to walk with crutches and there was no facility to sit down whilst awaiting the arrival of the coach. Overall we had a very enjoyable time the guide was excellent the tour was great and the weather shown on us.

Amazing experience!!! Definitely recommend not only emmerdale mad fans to do this but anyone would love it. Our tour guide was great (regrettably I can't remember her name) but she was on the 12.30 tour on Sunday 8th November. You get to see so much and relate when watching it now. Want to do it again 😁

Today, 28/05/22, my wife and I visited the Emmerdale Tour of the village Our Tour Guide Clemmy was outstanding, her knowledge and enthusiasm was for all to see. Any question she couldn’t answer she found out from the fountain of Emmerdale knowledge who gave the answer. We travelled from the midlands and the 2hr 21mins journey was well worth every penny. Visited on Sunday 12 th June. This tour is well organised from the minute you get to the New Inn car park. Also very impressed with the staff/ support crew, friendly and helpful. Our tour guide Rebecca was lovely, so full of knowledge,helpful and totally in charge. The village is just as you see on the TV. Some have internal sets, you can peak in. Plenty of time to take photos.A GREAT 90 MIN TOUR.Now looking forward to studio tour.

Enjoyed this visit arrived on a coach trip so we were split into 2 groups, 1st group went off and we were to follow around 20 mins later so we sat and waited on the bus ..no one told us there was a cafe just inside so we missed the chance to buy a coffee and they missed out on some extra cash, the tour itself was really good nice opportunity to see the set the tour lasts around 2 hrs. Our guide was really good and gave us lots of information..

As a fan of Emmerdale this studio experience didn't fail to please. Ben our tour guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable and informative. There was too much to see for me to make comments on so a visit is a must. Stopped off at Esholt on our way home where the original Woolpack is for a meal but unfortunately the landlord and landlady are leaving in Feb so had stopped serving meals but we enjoyed a wine and beer and a look at old Emmerdale casts photos, brilliant.

Wow....what an experience. I don't watch Emmerdale myself but my mum loves and it was a trip I had organised for her birthday. Boy did she love it. The tour was to last 90mins but the two tour guides that took us round didn't push on too quick and therefore our tour lasted 2hrs. Thank you amazing tour.

Great place to visit though as with all gift shops and cafes at these sort of places are stupidly priced. I do not recommend the cafe based on its price structure. Take a drink with you. Buy a gift only if you really have to. We got the tour that included David's bag, a photo, etc so worth it just for that. I would've marked higher but it is let down by the shop and cafe price structure.

We came here on a coach tour. The groups visiting had their own time slot, so there was a little bit of waiting for our turn. Our tour guide was very good, he took us through several rooms where filming takes place and encouraged us to have our photos taken in the Dingles home (choice of buying photos later). There's a lot of standing around listening to the guide, so if you're a bit 'Iffy' on your feet it's worth thinking about. There is a cafe and a comfy seating area at the entrance. But all in all it's a great experience for Emmerdale fans.

Great Experience Mike was our tour guide, with lots of knowledge and facts about the show. The Emmerdale Studio Experience is very easy to get to, located on the Burley Road near the city centre of Leeds. The whole tour was amazing from start to finish, very easy to walk around and stops to take memorable photo's of your own, we got to sit in the famous Dingle Sofa and had a professional photo taken for a reasonable price. The Tour is interactive and you are encouraged to make a small clip of your own, my daughter has some great memories to add to her scrap book After the tour we got to visit gift shop and purchase the famous “David’s Bag” along with other goodies which are not badly priced. Can’t recommend this tour enough if your an Emmerdale fan like my daughter.

It was a lovely day out my friend and I really enjoyed it.. And the young lady macey that toured us around was lovely and polite and so friendly she made us feel so comfortable and was there to answer all our questions having a good laugh and a joke along the way. So thank you to macey... The cafe was nice we both had pie and it was the best I've ever tasted it was full to the rim of steak I really enjoyed it... The only down side was I had trouble spotting the place as the signs were very poor I did get lost once.. Its a good job I had the sat nav on lol 😏.... But all in all it was a lovely day out yes a big thumbs up from us 👍

A great experience . We had a lovely tour guide who informed us about many interesting facts. As you go round on the tour you are shown films on the history of the story lines. We had plenty of photo opportunities and you have the opportunity to have your photo taken behind the bar of the Woolpack. It has a great gift shop and cafe which have amazing cakes.

Tickets were bought as a present by our daughter. We really enjoyed it. The tour guide was really good, with 'behind the scenes' stories and quirky facts throughout. You get the opportunity to film a scene on one of the sets and even edit an episode in the editing suite. We stayed in one of the big name budget hotels close to the ITV studios.

A good day out even you not a big fan of the show it's just a very nice place with lots of history you park your car in a hotel car park and tour bus will come and take you round where you will visit with tour guide who will show you around and give you lots of information about the soap the visit will be about 2.5 hours and then you will travel back to the hotel

Parking is right outside opposite so it's easy to find and get to only thing about parking was the machine was broken but you can pay over phone.

I have visited the Emmerdale village years ago when I was on holiday in Blackpool. I really loved it but the Woolpack (the pub) had scaffolding up at the time and it's completely different inside the pub then it is on television. The one place I haven't been in the actual studios which is in Leeds.

We really enjoyed the studio experience. It was well thought out and we learned lots of interesting things. It was exciting to learn how scenes, make ups, schedules etc. created. I really liked that we could touch little replica things like "the arm" "the brick" etc. However we felt a bit rushed and even the bus driver was surprised how quickly we finished. Probably because we were the last 6 visitors on Sunday and understandably everyone wanted to go home but when people pay this amount of money, they do want to take pictures, read the signs and ask questions without being left behind by tour guide

Amazing tour! We were lucky enough to visit the opening day of the new tour which includes going down to ITV and visit the actual sets! We have been to the studio today and it was fantastic! Our guides Jack and Jacob were both funny and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Plenty to see and lots of photo opportunities. Wheelchair accessible all through, great cafe and gift shop. Brilliantly organised even though there were more than one tour going on at the same time, we never felt rushed and were allowed as long as we wanted in each space to explore!

Really enjoyed our weekend, studio tour on Saturday and Village tour on Sunday. We luckily had the wonderful Kim for both our tours and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. Both tours are so different but definitely worth visiting! Lucky enough to have good weather at the village too, quite a bit of walking but you get lots of time to wander around. Bought as a present for my wife, WOW did I earn some Brownie points! Fabulous tour, terrific value for money and the tour guide we had, Jack, was both informative, humorous and FIRST CLASS. Have to say I was not looking forward to it but how wrong can you be? Best two hours I have had for many years. Highly recommend to everyone and all age groups ( we are both in our 70's but group we went round with varied from 10 up to our age and everyone loved it). Well done Jack you really are a natural well done.

Not really a fan of Emmerdale but went for a college trip so my time here is much different that everyone else's. Overall a very nice time. Despite me having no interest in it, it was so nice to learn about the inner workings of a TV sitcom and such studio. The 2 ladies who we where with where Really helpful on the idea of media sitcoms and how things work and such. I enjoyed it very much despite a section being off limits thanks to filming.

Good visit, up to date with exhibitions plus historical. Our guide Sarah was very good and gave us lots of information. Worth doung. Our only disappointment was the cafe was closed when we came out, we were going to have a drink and cake. We were in the 3.00 tour which was obviously the last tour if the day. Nightmare of an experience parking - leave yourself time to battle with the car parking machines - we had to pay by phone which involved downloading an app and then paying by card!!! I would have given it 5 stars but I feel I need to offer some constructive criticism in that we had an excellent tour by excellent staff, well done Abby. Unfortunately we then went to the cafe and due to two groups arriving at the same time, they struggled to cope. We waited ages for our drinks while sat at dirty tables. The two girls really tried to cope but failed. The £13.90 we paid for two coffees and two sausage rolls were in my opinion, steep. I know it's a business but come on..... Then the gift shop, again come on sort your prices out guys...£12 for a bag...... Overall a good day but marred by the messy expensive cafe and expensive gift shop....

Great little tour behind the scenes. Tour guide knowledgeable and a real fan so knows who's who and current story lines. Best to book 1st tour of the day (less busy), only 7 in our group so very personal. Souvenir photos taken and chance to take your own. The gift shop is over priced as are all gift shops but the cafe serves a great range of food at reasonable prices including beer and prosecco.

A great place to visit if you are a fan of the soap. The staff are polite, friendly and passionate. You are led through a tour demonstrating the processes behind the production of an episode. View sets, props and scale models, with several photo opportunities. It was a great experience, but very fast paced. It would have been great to spend a little more time in each section to take it all in.

It was very interesting however the group was far to big for the guided tour, cafe had good prices but to much of a wait for just a coffee.. This isn't a rant just hope its better for the next visitors. Car park opposite the studio. Pay and display, the coach trip round the village is about 15 minutes away. For people with wheelchairs who ever is pushing it is quite steep.

Very enjoyable visit to the Emmerdale Experience. The tour guide who was Will B was very knowledgeable, interesting and amusing. We will certainly be looking out for the little things that the actors do during filming! The café was large, clean and comfortable. Very well presented exhibition, taking you behind the scenes of this iconic TV soap, filmed right here in Leeds. It involved a guided tour around the exhibition, in small groups, led by an informative, very engaging guide, who encourages you to get immersed in your surroundings (many recreated sets). Highly recommended for fans of the series.

What a fantastic and informative day out. Our lovely tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, the sets, props and costumes were lovely to see and the photo opportunities were brilliant. There is a council run carpark directly across the road which is very convenient, the only down side of that, is that it's a telephone payment system, which totally stymied myself and my friends, resulting in us receiving a parking ticket 😕. The on site cafe provides excellent Yorkshire tea at a very reasonable price and the gift shop, cleverly concealed behind the doors to David's store is ever Emmerdale fan's delight. A great day, highly recommended.

We took a party of boys to this attraction in the summer. We came in by train and was able to walk the 20 minutes to the studio tour. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which added to the experience. There is a dominos pizza place across the road so while your waiting for your tour to start you can eat on the benches outside. You can purchase food from the cafe and takeout drinks. The tour is quite expensive but very enjoyable.

We visited the Emmerdale studio on Monday 24 , it was excellent the children and ourselves had a really good time . The tour guide Le Anne was very knowledgeable very helpful and polite thank you Le Anne, I would recommend the visit , the only down side was that to see the Emmerdale set enterer buildings you had to book another tour which was a short distance away . We didn't realise this when we booked as we was expecting to see both inside and out , like we did with Coronation street, all in all for what we did see it was well worthy the visit , thanks again Le Anne.

It took you through the past and present storylines. The guy who took us around "Will" was very knowledgeable and you could tell he lived and breathed Emmerdale. A great advertisement. We finished the tour at the shop and my only niggle was that the price tags on the goods were very faded and therefore hard to read. Tour was good ..but we were really disappointed about not having time to take pics, look at scripts and sets because we were being rushed on all the time...this was a 60th bday pressie for my friend...it made me feel really embarrassed...very disappointing considering it took hours of travelling and an over night stay in a hotel....expensive weekend only to be pushed round so quickly. Instead of cramming in so many tours in one day and being greedy, maybe you should make the tours longer so people can actually enjoy the tour fully that they have paid for.

This was a good trip out for the family - interesting for any age range - a must for Emmerdale fans. They have a nice cafe attached with some huge cakes to pick from - the staff call you through from the cafe 5 minutes before your tour is about to begin.

I don't even watch it and I had a great time! The guy doing the tour (I think it was Will B) was really enthusiastic and told lots of interesting stories. You get to see behind the scenes, the outfits, the most famous of the sets, pull a pint at the Woolpack, work the editing machine on a clip from the show and even have a go in front of the camera. I was a natural! On a practical side, it's not at the main ITV studio but about 100 yards down Burley Road towards the city centre. There is a public car park right outside but unless you go at a quiet time (like Sunday) it could be quite full.

The tour and staff were all fantastic but who was ever in charge of transport on Sunday the12 of May 2019 from the Weetwood hall hotel needs to hand their head in shame because we had our tour time changed because of road closures due to a Marathon which surely should of been no surprise event then to make things worse the coach at 1.30 was cancelled and it was a free for all to get on the 1pm coach as we did not know what was going on we had to wait until 2.30 for the next one I wouldn’t mind so much but we had to book out from the Hotel at 11am

We went yesterday as a group of 6 girls on a hen party and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guide, Maisy, was really helpful and informative. She was also happy to take (lots of) photos of us as a group with our own phones - thank you! It is no longer the actual set where Emmerdale is filmed, but it is very similar, and not disappointing. As part of the tour there were a few short clips of past scenes from when recording began in 1972 up until recent dramatic events including the helicopter crash (during which we were treated to special effects such as smoke, lights and a big bang which make you jump! We were also shown how James Barton's fall onto Ashley's car whilst he was travelling along the motorway and Emma Barton's fall from the Viaduct were filmed, which was really interesting. There are lots of photo opportunities including sitting on Rhona's sofa; sitting in the cafe or going behind the counter of the cafe or entering the cafe; studying next to the Emmerdale sign; standing outside the Woolpack; standing behind the bar of the woolpack or sitting anywhere in the woolpack. You can also sit on the Dingles Sofa however they take the photo's and you have to buy them... you can however take pictures of the set without charge (so long as you aren't in the picture!) I would recommend a trip if you are an Emmerdale fan

You can go into woolpack, stand behind the bar, and your serving drinks! There are 2 tours, firstly, the emmerdale studio tour, secondly, the emmerdale village tour.
