Jane was fabulous, we were totally lost with the very sudden loss of a dearly loved wife and mother. Jane had great empathy and gently guided us through our options, meeting all our wishes for the perfect service. Thank you to you all at Wm. Dodgson & Son and to Marcus too, our celebrant, he conducted the perfect service for us.

My father funeral was handled professionally with great support in very difficult circumstances for our family . Jane at the Kippax office was exceptional leading us through the process and dealing with problems caused by the registry office on behalf of my family we cannot recommend this company highly enough for the exceptional service they provided

The service we received from WM Dodgson and son was amazing. All the staff was very understanding and very caring at the difficult time of our mum passing. Jackie was fantastic she was helpful and very kind from the start and kept us informed of what was going on. If a problem occurred she would contact us straight away and got straight onto resolving the problem. We could get in touch any time if we had any questions and they was always on hand to answer them. On the day of the funeral everything ran smoothly and the staff was amazing making sure everything went to plan. Thank you from all the family.

The service we received from all concerned, in respect of my mum's funeral, was excellent. Jackie was efficient but also very kind and sympathetic, keeping us informed at every stage. She coordinated every aspect and ensured that, at a very difficult time for all the family, the arrangements proceeded smoothly. Andy and his team on the day looked after us sensitively guiding us through both the church service and crematorium committal. All concerned worked hard to help us through a very sad day. Having dealt with WM Dodgsons & Son twice I would highly recommend them to anybody The staff show nothing but patience , kindness , compassion & empathy through the whole process of what is one of the most difficult times in ones life They explain everything from start to finish & are constantly keeping in touch keeping you up to date with all proceedings Nothing is too much trouble for any Staff member & they go above & beyond in both my dealings with them This resulted in what was a beautiful service which ran smoothly from start to finish Special mentions for Jackie & Andy from the Kippax branch who could not have been more helpful kind & so supportive throughout Andy is the epitome of empathy & kindness who was wonderful on the day from leading Mums funeral procession right through to the end of the service & even after Special mention also to Makala from the Harehills branch who was always there when needed & so supportive & always there to listen May I also add the after care given to us as a family is much appreciated. Just that phone call to ask how everyone is really made us feel like you all really do care so we Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts

From ringing them to the end they were professional. Jackie in the office is so helpful and patient. We even asked for stuff she had never done before but nothing was too much trouble. The coffin with pictures on was such a personal coffin and I was so pleased with it. Andy on the day was so professional and did everything we wanted. I paid in advance and I was shocked to get a cheque back as they had over charged me a small amount, honesty or what as I would of never known. Five star all round

This was such a hard time for us, especially with the Covid do's and dont's, and never arranged a funeral before. The staff were amazing and helped us with the smallest of details , nothing was too much for them and every thing done with care and delicacy for mum. On the day every one said how beautiful it was. I was very impressed with the service I received from Jackie at Wm Dodgson and Son in Kippax following the death of my mother in January 2018. From the offering of coffee and mints, Jackie was very friendly and efficient, and made everything that had to be done quite clear, both in terms of what I had to do and in terms of what she would do. I was most impressed of all with the speed at which everything was set. No sooner had I left the office than my phone was ringing(less than half an hour later ) to say we had a date for the funeral, at the desired Church (St Mary's Middleton South Leeds) at a suitable time. Everything fell into place easily afterwards, the content of the service, the catering, the hire of the Church hall,, transport etc. The funeral itself was simple, dignified, the Vicar Rev Andy Myers did an excellent job and everyone told me how well I had done. But I kept telling them it was not just me, I could not have done it without the services of Jackie at Wm Dodgsons in Kippax.

"We chose Wm Dodgson after looking at websites for local funeral directors and a visit to the Kippax office did not disappoint resulting in our trust in them for arranging Mum's funeral. The support and professionalism of their staff was comforting and reassuring from start to finish as they guided us through each stage of the funeral. Communication was excellent as they scheduled chapel of rest, church service, flowers, crematorium and refreshments. There was a lovely gesture at Christmas when we were invited to hang a remembrance card for Mum on a Christmas tree in the Kippax office reception area.
