I've just got home after experiencing "The Gateway" and in the two hours it's taken me to drive home, I haven't stopped thinking about it. My partner and I consider ourselves relatively experienced escape room players and have played somewhere in the region of 30-40 of them, but nothing has come anywhere close to being as impressive as this one! Not only is the theming the best I have ever experienced, but the atmosphere was mind-blowing. I genuinely felt terrified for the full 52 minutes it took us to escape. I have never been so scared in my life. The puzzles were excellent and allowed the room to flow perfectly. Each puzzle was relatively simple and ensured that we were fully immersed in the horrifying story. I have never seen theming like it. Every other escape room should have "The Gateway" as the benchmark. I'm actually a little lost for words while writing this review as I don't know quite how to do Escapologic justice, words simply cannot explain just how phenomenal this escape room is. Without doubt the best I've ever played and I suspect it may remain that way forever. Shout-out to the staff too. Our Games Master (Courtney) was amazing and gave hints at just the right times. Plus she was VERY inventive with the way the hints were delivered. We're coming back to play the rest of the rooms here. Escapologic have absolutely smashed it out of the park!

One of the best escape rooms in at least the city! Courtney our GM was fantastic and super friendly! And the Reactorvate room is so clever and one of the most immersive rooms we've done (though we've only done 3)! We escaped in 43 mins with just 2 people (which is apparently an achievement😏) but we had a really great time and will defo be back to try a different room once we're back in the city!

good friendly place and a deal of fun working out your entrapment. We did this as a team of 4. Ideal to get the evening started off with a bit of thinking and head scratching while having a laugh and occasionally wandering around aimlessly wondering what the hell to do next. Would have been a five but rooms need updating, all looking a bit mauled now but still good for an hours entertainment

This was my first time doing an escape room, and I loved every minute of it! The staff were all enthusiastic and helpful, and the two rooms we did (Operation Magnus and Reactorvate) both had a great theme and were well designed - and we managed to escape both. I would definitely recommend Escapologic!

Congratulations to Escapologic on the incredible experience we had playing 'The Gateway'. I've done quite a few escape rooms and this one was the best by far! The whole venue is awesome, setting the scene from the moment you walk in the door. The staff were fantastic and Tara was all you could ask for in a host. 'The Gateway' was impeccable from start to finish: hardly fair to call it just a 'room', as the magnificent set design was so immersive, extensive and creative! There was so much to explore! You really must try this game to see for yourself. So much thought had gone into every puzzle (we loved the lack of padlocks) and the mechanics of the setup were truly extraordinary, better than I've ever seen before. The atmosphere within the room was a tantalising mix of fear and excitement, which continued throughout the game. This was my first time playing a scare escape and speaking as a full-time sissy, the The Gateway bridges the gap perfectly. I was glad it wasn't 18+ like some of Escapologic's more scary games in Nottingham, which I wouldn't dare attempt. We'll definitely be travelling to Nottingham to try some of the other Escapologic games as soon as funds allow. I can't wait!!

Absolutely amazing time playing Operation Magnus. Destiny was such a lovely host and explained everything so well and gave us clues at just the right moment!! Would really recommend

We completed the gateway in 38 minutes. It was quite jumpy at times, lights on and off, doors closing behind you etc. Not too scary though. It wasn't as tricky as other rooms we have done. We found the hostess was quite quick to give us clues so took some of the hunt out of it, and therefore the fun a little. You are not given a walky talky like in other places, so you are not really in control of asking for clues. All in all it was fun, but not one I would run back to do again.

The staff here are really cool and quirky! Really nice to talk to. Also the rooms are so cool it's like stepping back in time! The content of the escape rooms are also very cool, done the Russian bunker one and the Bomb one with around 10 minutes remaining for both! Would 100% recommend!

Fantastic company that also does rooms in Nottingham. The games masters are all fantastic and really make the experience. Our team (Team Bad Decisions) has done all of the rooms, so they recognised us the lovely manager gave us a Golden Ticket to thank us for our loyalty. I can't say too much about the games as it will give them away, but they're always really well thought out with at least one absolutely unique puzzle to try your hand at. Reactorvate was my favourite as it really requires good teamwork to master. Keep it up guys, looking forward to the next one!

Booked this as a surprise for my Wife's birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The escape room was the best one we have done...ever, more than just keys and codes. We escaped reactorvate !! Excellent room, excellent place, 10 Stars (if i could could it higher than 5). We'll defo be coming back. :)

Having played the Nottingham rooms I was excited to experience Leicester. I played Chronos and Reactorvate with my partner. What can I say?! it’s next level in every aspect, the décor, theming and puzzles were amazing. I’d say Chronos was one of the hardest rooms I’ve played. Although challenging, it was thoroughly enjoyable. There were some very clever puzzles that integrated authentic items and props with a satisfying challenge (I certainly worked my arm muscles). The level of detailing was amazing, bravo to the creator. Perhaps a difficulty rating on the website would allow other players to make an informed decision? Reactorvate was a slightly easier room and lots of fun, it was more hands on and less thinky, ideal for those fairly new to escape rooms, but still enjoyable for the more experienced. Again the puzzles were well thought out and integrated into the room, with lots of team interaction and fun “tasks”. Escapologic certainly lived up to and surpassed my expectation. The puzzles, immersion and décor are second to non. The staff were very welcoming and friendly too! Thank you for a wonderful experience 

Chris was a fantastic guide for us when we did all 3 rooms in one day. The rooms are really good, the bunker one has a dodgy puzzle at the start, and they know that but don't change it, which is odd, but Chronos and Reactorvate are both top notch and loads of fun with a lot of hard work put into the puzzles and atmosphere/props.

Really impressed by this experience. This is my second escape room venue. The 5 of us did Reactorvate and found it thrilling and challenging. The rooms are in an underground complex so the welcome hub is really steampunk cool which sets the tone and suspends disbelief nicely. The room had some unique challenging aspects, and the tasks require some physical manipulation and some mental contortions, but lots of teamwork and talking. The underground location means the games masters have control of the entire expereince - lights, sounds, special effects - which made it very immersive as there was no intruding noise or daylight to break the spell. A great experience, and we are keen to try another of the rooms. The staff were friendly, and our GM Tara was great fun but kept in-game hints to a pleasing minimum. Highly recommended, and safe for families with teenagers.

A great experience for me and my father, very challenging. Neither of us managed to beat our game, but the staff was very friendly and the whole thinf was definitely immersive. Would have loved if we weren't given hints when stuck as that's part of the fun - but other than that definitely a day to remember and one that I would love to repeat!

The best escape rooms around. We had the most amazing time at our visit to Escapologic. We played 'Reactorvate' and 'Chronos'. Both rooms were incredible to the point you forgot you were in an escape room. They were both so detailed and interactive and really got both your brain working and your adrenalin pumping!. Me and a couple of friends played 2 rooms (chronos and reactorvate) here the other day and had a truly amazing time. Both rooms were incredibly detailed and immersive with great effects, you really felt part of the story! We completed both rooms.... just! And they both seemed to have a good balance of head scratching puzzles that didn't seem impossible but were hard enough to give you a sense of achievement when you'd worked them out. Will definitely be back to try operation Magnus!

The staff at escape logic were lovely, and extremely helpful, although I had been to escape rooms before some of my group hadn't and the explanation of what was going to happen was great. I always recommend escape rooms as a group activity, and after being to 3 escape room locations now in Leicester I can give escapelogic my highest recommendation of the lot. Also as a sidenote, the location is awesome as it really feels like the perfect setting for an escape room.

What an experience! I went to Escapologic - Leicester with work, we have been to the Nottingham site as well and it is great to see more games! We got to play Operation Magnus and Reactorvate which both had sufficient challenge, the themes for each room were great, creating immersive experiences yet again. We travelled 60 miles to do the escape rooms in Leicester and it was so worth it. We had only booked to do one room and when we completed it we wanted to do another one and although they should have been closing they stayed open for us to do another room. All staff were great- friendly and down to earth. The rooms were like no other that we have done previously. Will definitely be returning and look forward to more rooms opening 😊

Fantastic escape rooms, we've done some run by the same guys in Nottingham, the level of quality has carried over to the Leicester rooms! A mixture of different types of puzzles, non linear games so everyone can get involved and be working on puzzles at the same time, with a great immersive story line that we've come to expect from escapologic :)

Escapologic's second site had a lot to live up to. With its amazing set of games in Nottingham I had to wonder if they would do what so many had done before and simply copy their rooms over. Well they didn't, they went all out with completely original rooms and best of all, they are all to the same amazingly high standards as Nottingham!
