I contacted JS Gas and Plumbing services as Joel was recommended to me and tenants in my rental had reported an issue with their kitchen taps. Joel answered straight away and visited the property within 24 hours. He quickly identified the issue, sourced the parts and fitted them. Joel stayed in touch with me and the tenant throughout to ensure a speedy resolve to the kitchen issue. The price was super competitive and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Joel to anyone and will be using JS Gas and Plumbing Services again for future checks, repairs and maintenance.

Superb and reliable service. Joe was recommended to us a while ago and he now conducts the annual service on our aging boiler, so when something went wrong with it this morning (29th December), he was the first person to call. Turns out the the fan had shattered. No heating or hot water. He correctly diagnosed, sourced the right part and fixed within about 2 hours of the call (same day) and the hot water and heating is back on! - thank you very much :-)

Imagine your gas boiler breaking down Christmas Eve and you have no heating and no hot water with 25 guests arriving for Christmas Day… Joel was a real answer to prayer and we can’t thank him enough for his professional, prompt service on Christmas Day… we would highly recommend him!! My father’s boiler stopped working on Boxing Day. He is in his eighties and we were desperate to fix it. We tried the big national companies who took for ever to answer the phone, and when they did, couldn’t offer anything until the end of the month, despite their promises of 24hour call out. So I searched for a plumber near me, and came across Joe Mitchell of JS Gas & Plumbing Services. Joe arrived within the hour and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was able to replace the pump and get it working within just over an hour of arriving. When I rang in a panic the following day because dad said it still wasn’t working , he was able to talk me through identifying that in fact the pump, and therefore the boiler were working fine, it was simply that the timer was wrong. As a family, we were experiencing particular challenges due to family illness and bereavement. The broken heating was not only a practical concern but also just one more thing to deal with at an already difficult time- the final straw. Joe was calm, professional and efficient and I was truly impressed. I would have no hesitation in using him again, nor therefore, in recommending him to others.

He was very friendly and helpful and took the time and trouble to explain exactly what the issues were. His diagnosis was accurate and despite supplier issues he completed the repair as soon as was possible. Throughly recommend this guy.
