Very specific visit for us this time. A tour of the behind the scenes of the theatre! With afternoon tea afterwards. As a fan of the theatre this was a thrill for me. We got to see dressing rooms, the costume department, the green room, the writers room, rehearsal spaces. The guide was lovely, very personable and as an employee, of course, knew her stuff. I especially like the talk with the costume designer. When I go to see the panto this Christmas I will see it in a whole new light now. Afternoon tea was tasty, good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Absolutely recommend this. The tours are only in August however as the theatre has no performances that month. Thank you Everyman!

Went to see the Rock & Roll panto with our 4 grandchildren. Fabulous show, very talented group of actors, singers and musicians. The theatre is lovely, all seats have great view, we were 2 rows back, felt like we were on the stage. Highly recommend.
K. E.
Best ever panto my 44 year old self, has been too.
Cast was amazing,their talents astounding.
We as a family of seven, never stopped clapping, singing, cheering and dancing!!!
Roll on next year x

One of my favourite places. Had a great night watching Red Riding Hood (the rock and roll panto) .Right up in the stalls but comfy seats and clear view. I am quite deaf but the dialogue was clear to me which it often isn't in other theatres.
m. H.
Shame it was empty when visiting the cafe as it seems a nice cosy place to meet up and chat. I guess it's busy of an evening or when a play is on? Coffee prices seem very reasonable for the area but please put a cover over those cakes mainly for hygiene and to stop me drooling over them.

This place is part of my DNA. Warm, friendly and never disappoints. A cultural beating heart in Liverpool. Whether to eat, enjoy a performance or both it is a must. Just go!
A. M.
Lovely place. I haven't been for years. We watched Little Red Riding Hood, it was fab! I can't wait to take my girls again. 😍
S. K.
Lovely theatre, clean and modern decor. Staff were friendly, toilets were clean and drinks were reasonably priced. The auditorium was a bit chilly but otherwise happy with experience.
J. G.
Loved it. Staff very organised and friendly. Felt safe. Performance was excellent. All round, brilliant experience. Will definately go again
W. W.
Amazing theatre, friendly staff and lovely cosy street cafe, food and drink great, staff being the counter are very happy and helpful.
H. C.
The usual Everyman panto fayre. Pretty good fun despite a missing leading lady and last-minute replacement of the main narrator.
J. M.
Our family loved the panto and (compared with London) brilliant to be so close to the action and at a much lower price!
C. W.
Modern theatre showing modern shows. We saw Cherry Jezebel a drama- comedy about the Liverpool drag circuit.
T. P.
Everyman panto just gets better and better! Smashed it this year. Beautiful theatre. Great staff
I. “. E.
Attended a rehearsed reading for a play, and it was incredible. The staff were really helpful, safety guidelines were followed, and the performance itself was so well done and thought-provoking. Would definitely recommend a visit or ten.
M. H.
Great pantomime. Very talented cast. Very funny. Wonderful music.
M. F.

Organised well.

Santa was REAL

We went to watch, 'Corrina, Corrina' and it was amazing! I had to clamp my mouth shut to stop me shouting out. The acting was superb, the venue, much like the Octagon Theatre in Bolton, is perfect and the story is brilliant and so poignant. We'll done, you guys.
N. S.
The shows that are shown there are brilliant and creative. All the staffs there makes you feel welcome and included. It's an amazing place to be in even if it's for a short period of time.
V. C.
Great production tonight; 'A Billion Times I Love You', followed by Queer comedy. Loved every minute of it.
L. D. F.
Lovely staff! Very polite and helpful. Very kid friendly too
G. G.
The Everyman Theatre in its "new" building. Be prepared for crowd immersion as you merge with the actors. Great rep company, great venue for theatre. Everyone misses the old bistro, which was as much of a Liverpool institution as anything could be, the new basement bar is soulless, and locals voted with their feet and rarely populate it, but without the terrible redesign of the "new Bistro" we might not have got the Pen Factory next door, which almost but not quite recreates the original Everyman Bistro vibe.
G. H.
rock and roll pantomime as good as every.
Great small theatre, staff always helpful.
Well worth a visit

This place has been done up lovely. Remember going there as a kid to watch the shows and the difference is immense. Very sleek and modern looking inside. There are a wide range of shows put on there as well. I went to see Sweeney Todd with friends there and it was AMAZING. The stage itself isn't very large and there isn't a huge amount of seating but no matter where you sit you always have a good view of the stage. The staff are lovely and very helpful too.
J.
The musical "Anything Goes" 🛟 is definitely worth watching. I would have posted some photos of it but unfortunaltely I was not allowed to take any. The seats were very comfortable. The only drawback was the rather expensive food and beverages, as well as it was not possible to pay with cash. 💷
A. R.
Poped in for light refreshments after visiting the catholic cathederal.
Polite service and great ambiance, and obviously popular with a wide variety of people.
The beverages we had were great and better than most other places. Had oat milk and catered for alergies. Recommended and would visit again.
E. P.
Lovely place very friendly, hot chocolate was beautiful 😊
N. T.
Fantastic! Really enjoy. Thank you
L. S.
Went to see Cherry Jezebel last week, a fantastic play, superbly written with wonderful actors...The Everyman has the most beautiful decor, and gives a wonderful vibe. Your staff are all very friendly. Bar staff very polite.thank you all x

I went to the rock n roll pantomime today with my granddaughter. We didn't know it was a cashless venue and I brought my wrong card out I panicked I didn't want to let 6yr old granddaughter down. Hence the staff was really helpful and we overcome this the show was amazing it was our tygerlollies first ever pantomime she loved it .thankyou to the lovely staff. The performance was excellent
D. J.

Spacious and well designed plenty of leg room
T. L.
Fantastic production of Sweeny Todd. First time I've been to the Everyman, but definitely won't be the last. Excellent price for under 26s
S. M.
We popped in to try the cafe on a cold Tuesday afternoon.. No hot food on and no sandwiches so we had a blondie that tasted better than it looked and an ok coffee.
A bit underwhelming, compared to the glory days of the bistro.
D. J. P. G.
What an awesome venue, sets are very often created by Splinter Scenery who do a fantastic job.
Performance are well produced and well attended, would thoroughly recommend.
J. D.
Always enjoy coming here. Lovely little theatre where you feel part of the show. Amazing staff.Lovely bar with relaxed atmosphere. Am back again soon.
S. B.
Downstairs but. Cosy place. Good bar, beer not expensive. Nice staff. Stage is a bit low to see over heads.
P. H.
Enjoyed the show, however only a handful of people wearing masks (including me and my husband) and the hand sanitiser stations were empty made us feel uncomfortable. Also had two women sit next to me who coughed constantly.
C. B.
Wonderful coffee in the cafe. Pleasant place to sit unhindered.
C. J. H.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much
Catherine

Had a show delayed due to isolation and the theatre were wonderful in their communications, great service.
Lovely staff. I found the venue very comfortable, as some with an anxiety disorder.
C. R.
Had the best night, panto was brilliant as usual, cast fantastic, great music and a million laughs, highlight of my year, keep up the good work xx
R. E.
The most amazing wedding venue. Thanks to the team for today. It's still difficult times but you where great. Well organised and amazing bar and front of house staff

Go and see Cherry Jezebel. It was dead funny and really sad in parts. Great writing!! Good night had by all.
T. H.
Been to see the past 3 Christmas pantos, different to any other pantos I’ve ever seen! Always ridiculously funny and get the audience involved. The rock and roll aspect of the panto is so well thought through and makes it enjoyable for everyone visiting. The songs, jokes and acting is amazing and I wouldn’t go elsewhere for a panto! The venue is clean and tidy. Drinks are not too expensive, but ice-cream is £3.50 for a rather small tub, however it does taste really good! Can’t wait for the Xmas panto of 2020!
H. E.
Always LOVE coming here to see the Rock N Roll panto each year. Such friendly staff and a beautiful, intimate little theatre 💖
A. B.
Went to the rock and roll panto with the kids and family, Including a disabled family member, enjoyed the show, staff were friendly and helpful, beer was good!
L. D.
Outstanding Christmas Panto, as usual. The whole cast put on a fantastic show at the 1.30 matinee on Thursday 30th December.
J. T. M.
Had a fantastic night at the everyman. Went to see the rock n roll panto for the fourth year running and as usual it was fabulous. Love this theatre you are always very close to the stage wherever you sit, good bar and vegan ice cream wow, staff are all fab, love it here would recommend 100%
M. W. (.
Theatre in the round is a must see. You are drawn into the performance. Tickets are great value for money with no 'bad' place to sit. Make sure you have time for a drink and bite to eat first either in the Everyman bistro or cafe bar. Food is delicious and excellent value for money. Great range of drinks available. Staff are welcoming and provide friendly service.
K. B.
We go to the rock and roll panto every year. The venue is excellent and the show will have you laughing and up on your feet dancing.Great for kids and adults. Can't wait for next year.
S. A.
Trip to the panto. Brilliant as always.
S. M. (.
It is a lovely theatre. The pantomime of sleeping beauty was such a laugh 😁, I haven't been to a panto for year's and it was fun to get into the spirit of it and cheer the goodies and booooo! the baddies in black :) Nice and warm inside and all the staff make you feel very welcome.
A. G.
In the beginning there was the Everyman, a friendly, comfortable theatre, rebuilt in the 1960s, & the Everyman bistro in the basement. The former was excellent, and produced many great productions (& actors), while the latter was an essential cornerstone of many nights out.
The second rebuild has produced a truly great performance space and has managed to balance comfort for the audience and a stylish design. The only slight caveat concerns the bar. It's more accessible and comfortable, but lacks the "Stalinist soup kitchen" charm of the earlier bistro.
Perhaps the latest edition just needs a little loving?
R. f.
Great time there, staff were very helpful and friendly comfortable place, well organized to 🙂
J. F.
Really impressed with the pantomine that I went to here with work friends for Xmas. Wish I had taken my kids as they would have loved it! . It was funny, professional and friendly and the actors were fantastic. Hi g do close to the stage was also a real bonus as you felt part if the actual show yourself!
A. K.
Great night. Cherry jezebel was so good from beginning to end would go and enjoy it all over again
J. R.
Been to loads of shows here, never had a bad experience. Always delivers high quality entertainment. Really diverse range of productions with great acting and exceptional stage craft. Prices are very reasonable and staff are warm and friendly.
M. C.
Popped into theatre during monsoon weather conditions, not to see a performance. Coffee shop/ cafe nice good and clean usual coffee and tea options available , some alcoholic beverages too. Cake looked nice but no gluten free. Pleasant staff and coffee.
D. O. C.
Superb professional theatre - very friendly and welcoming! Great productions (not seen a bad one yet!!) Bar and food options are terrific too, making a visit a good value night. I really love this theatre very much and look forward to visiting again soon for another great production!!
R. P.
Such an iconic venue, with the staff and facilities being second to none. It's clear that the management care about your visit and this filters down into everything the venue is, and will be. A perfect venue, it's one of the best in Liverpool. The food is fantastic too! Looking forward to shooting more wedding here.
M. J. P.
An excellent job was done when the Everyman was rebuilt. Nice bar and restaurant facilities, with two out of three levels overlooking Hope street through glass frontage. The old basement bistro is missed, but the complex now has a more up-to-date ambience. With many strong productions, it is a great place to be.
C. S.
Excellent performance of Paint Your Wagon. This evening's performance was specially for people with dementia. My 92 year old mum who has Alzheimer's really enjoyed it and sang along. The Everyman staff were all excellent in assisting people with disabilities. Thank you so much to the cast and the Everyman staff for a lovely evening, I would highly recommend a visit and I hope more productions like this are put on.
J. A.
Fantastic little theatre with a brilliant refurbishment. Little coffee shop/bar also really love with helpful staff members and good drinks. Prices as expected. Variety of shows really good: have been to see a pantomime one week and then seen Shakespeare's Mabeth the next. Well worth a visit and beautiful surrounding area.
R. C.
12 days left for you to see the famous rock and roll panto, great production and fantastic fun, I would recommend it to anyone.
M. W.
Had great evening here to see the production of Our Lady of Blundell Sands
First visit to the theatre since the Covid crisis
Excellent play but we avoided the bar on our first visit back but we will be back on our next visit to Liverpool.
G. J.
Superb venue with its own restaurant for your pre- theatre meals. Great auditorium - nice and intimate. The production of A Clockwork Orange was brilliantly staged. Wish I'd seen more of the repertory season. The Everyman continues to live up to its fantastic reputation.
W. H.
Great place for a coffee and a snak
L. W.
The modern building is fantastic. An ecological design, with plenty of character. The plays are always lovingly planned and executed, risks are taken and the state of the art stage and technology, means that very magical things can happen. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a writers Room for local writers to go and write. It has computers, space and lots of published plays to read through.
Lots of bars and the food is top notch.
C. A.
I've been to the panto a few times always brilliant and this was the best ever. Highly recommended a fun time for everyone 😀
S. C.
Great Theatre near the centre of Liverpool. We went for an afternoon matinee and saw Sweeney Todd. The musical was very good and the accoustics were fantastic throughout. Seating was good, however I recommend a seat at the very front to really immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the play. Parking for the venue was very easy and only a 5 minute walk away (pay and display).
G.
I was there with my family during a brief trip to the UK and my husband, a Liverpool man, suggested it as an interesting change from a pub lunch. I ate a delicious sausage roll with a couple of interesting tasty salads and a side of chunky chips. The others all chose the veggie burger (halloumi?) Also with salad and fries. There was a good range of soft drinks as well as wine. We enjoyed it.
S. F.
1st panto in about 25 years . Absolutely fantastic. The cast were amazing . The staff at venue excellent.
C. C.
You can't beat the magic of a play at the everyman with its on going reputation for producing top stars this stage has a magic all of its own and with it being a small enclosed theatre you are right in the thick of the action too. So the atmosphere can revert from tense electric or joyous and there's a superb cafe to warm you up too.
M. E.
Went to the Murder Mystery night great food and good entertainment thoroughly enjoyed it
S. F.
I saw Sweeny Todd at the Everyman. Brilliant show at a great venue.
M. H.
Love it here cos I feel really cool and they have nice cakes
J. S.

g. h.
Lovely theatre shame only one person seeing in the bar when we arrived.so didn't bother going for a drink at interval.show was great.go early parking is a nightmare.
S. H.
I’ve been coming to the Everyman rock ‘n’ roll panto for years. The actors are so talented! They Play their own instruments as well! On select nights the Everyman have audio description and touch tours. I’ve also seen several plays by the Everyman rep company such as the big I am. Fidler on the roof and paint your wagon. All of them have been excellent! I can’t wait to see what’s on offer this year. Keep up the good work!
S. M.
Great venue. Might be better to encourage mask use rather than advise against photography.
l. K.
We've just had a great afternoon at the Little Mermaid Panto and our grandson loved it. Lots of music and dancing (mostly my grandson) but a good day out. Had a bit of a hitxh in the 2nd half as lights went out due to a power surge but soon fixed. Staff and performers were great with him as he kept shouting 'hiya' as they went past. Will definitely book for next year.xx
K. “. V. i. y. H. W.
Second time I have seen Daniel Kitson at The Everyman. This is a great venue for an entertainer like this. Small enough that you can see and hear everything while big enough to take an interested audience who can become part of the show.
I. P.
Clean, modern, well furnished building. The staff polite, happy and helpful. Seating was comfortable. The actors and musicians put their heart and soul into the performance. An excellent night out.
T. A.
Great pantomime and shows. We took s group here and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Lots of staff on hand to help and elevator for disabled people. Was a wonderful experience.
J. J.
We haven't visited since the revamp...WOW. Brilliant venue made even better. Sweeney Todd was excellent too. Great staff advising exits during performance if needed.
J. C.
Lovely theatre, helpful staff and great peoductions
R. L.
Great show, lovely staff. Just a shame that the 'lady' next to us decided to move as our daughter spoke to her dad during the show, children's show! Why do these people go? 🙈
A. B.
Clean and excellent shows
M. E.
The play was good but in the restaurant some members of staff were surly and grumbled about they should have charged us for the table. A coffee was charged for an we had to ask for it. I was standing in the aisle at the break stretching my legs and there was the announcement to come back to the theatre and one of the ushers made a b line for me and ordered me to sit down. There were other people standing and moving about getting into their seats. Had the lights gone down and I was standing for some time I don't think that would have been unreasonable. I am 63 years of age and was spoken to like a 12 year old. Through the second half of the show people were standing up uninvited and they weren't told off. I think some staff like the power and it has put me off coming back
A. C.
A great night out
T. D. D.
A very nice atmosphere. A great place to enjoy the arts.
L. M.
Always a great family night out at the rock and roll panto.
A show like no other
E. H.
We had a brilliant night. Our Lady of Blundellsands is excellent and we always enjoy being at the Everyman.
S. C.
The shows are often a reinterpretation or reimagining, so a bit hit or miss, but the theatre itself is great. No seat is a bad seat in the Everyman. I really wish they would serve beverages in a sustainable alternative, rather than plastic. I guess I understand why they do it (worries about the prospect of broken glass in the theatre, perhaps?), but given the problems caused by plastic, I would hope they would want to find an alternative solution.
M. M.
This is my family's treat we wouldn't miss it. Another sterling performance from all the crew fun, music and glitter. Good family entertainment with a little spice.
G. O.
Always a pleasure attending the Everyman Theatre. The space is very well-kept and facilities are state of the art. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. A wonderful venue in the heart of Liverpool!
S. O.
We went to see "The Little Mermaid" rock n roll play. It was amazing! Great cast. We laughed a lot. They had student discounts.
S. S.
Lovely atmosphere and very clean environment. Staff attentive and friendly. Very close to the open stage and theatre tickets at a good price .
G. W.
Lovely evening wedding venue
M. O. P. S.
Very good place, excellent service, light, decorations and of course shows
C. N.
Ate here several times excellent value obviously gets busy on matinee days but ideal for a long chatty light lunch. Proper portions too.
J. D.
We are so lucky to have this "state of the art" theatre.
This was our third out of the four "Everyman Company Productions that we've been to this season.
The Sum - a play with songs by Lizzie Nunnery is at the Everyman until Saturday 20th May 2017.
If you can, it's well worth going - we absolutely loved it.
M. K.
Spent this afternoon setting up for wedding reception, thank you to all the lovely staff, so friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere, thanks again x
S. K.
Cast amazing they can sing dance and even play various instruments.Excellent
P. T.
Great theatre, near the centre of Liverpool. We watched Robin hood and the kids loved it.
N. F.
Always such a fabulous experience to watch theatre in the round at the Everyman. Nice to have a drink on the balcony overlooking the two cathedrals during the interval too!
J. P.
Generally a nice venue. But, the circle seats are horribly cramped if you've even moderately long legs (I'm 5'11"). Also, the beer is quite pricey.
J. T.
Lovely venue, lovely staff,I enjoyed my time here, my 1st time
S. S.
Food was bad. Service was OK. Play was very good. Had cauliflower fitters. Over cooked and would be better described as an onion bhaji. "Chips" are actually wedges. Much better for lunch time food.
S. H.
Lovely theatre, very well looked after
S. T.
Easy to get to not much waiting around easy to find our seats got served for drinks at the bar no problem and didn't have to wait long. thoroughly enjoyed the panto good fun very enjoyable
S. B.
We went to the Saturday afternoon performance of Sweeny Todd. It was first rate.. Only sorry we didn't eat there, the food looked amazing,we will definitely wat there next time we go.
W. C.
Staff were friendly and helpful; one of them let us keep our numerous bags in one of the storage cupboards, which made the show a lot more comfortable.
S. S.
Went last night to see Fiddler on the roof. Blown away by the company, the musicians, the production and casting. Venue is great. Tempted to go and see it again it was so good.
N. C.
Lovely building, really nice style to it, only problem is there isn't much leg room on the balcony level but not really a major issue
M. M.
Went to watch sleeping beauty on 19.12.19 and I must say it was out this world I would watch it again it was that good and the staff was so helpful ( loved that they got me up on stage which made my night even more )
P. B.
Really good value lunch deals, and the food is lovely.

A. G.
The place is stunning, staff are lovely. Tonight we saw St Etienne and the venue just seemed perfect! Easily 5 star.
K. D.
Fun, intimate theatre. Have only seen pantomimes here. Great stage with audience on 3 sides. Bar/cafe on ground floor, 2nd bar on first floor and bistro in the basement.
C. B.
Doc n Roll Panto was one of the best I have ever been too! Will definitely be booking next year.
M. M.
In one way or another The Everyman Theatre has been my spiritual home since 1966. On a school trip to see a play. Through to being a member of the youth theatre in the seventies. Onto becoming a theatre goer in the eighties onwards ; 1986 when life took me away from Liverpool. But that's another story , to which of I have many. Malc Mansfield
e. l. C.
Stage bit is a bit too small
J. I.
Had another fantastic time at the everyman show was hilarious and brilliant..but only 1 concern disabled toilets I was unable to use them because of the stench but apart from that another brilliant day.

Best pantomime I've seen. Try and get tickets for next season - but you'll have to book as soon as they are announced.
