Camilla is absolutely fantastic! My daughter is in the midst of treatment for her pain in her neck, shoulders and neck. Not only does she provide her expertise in osteopathy but she is fully attentive and empathetic to my daughter's wellbeing in general. An additional bonus is that Camilla always tries to be available for assistance, not only by the actual sessions.

I have been attending the Back & Active clinic for 3 years. I was so delighted to finally find a practitioner who is such an all rounder and expert in his field. Damien has treated me for several injuries over time, and never ceases to amaze me with the knowledge he has of the body, and his skill in putting things right. His body work is brilliant. He complements this with acupuncture and an on going exercise program. He really cares and communicates so well (and reassuringly). He is an amazing person. Whatever my condition and attitude when I walk in, I always leave with a spring in my step! I highly recommended this practice.

Camilla and Damien are lifesavers!!! I went to them after I had my fourth baby. I had a pinched nerve and my back pain was crippling. They really listened to me and treated my specific situation. Their treatment is second to none! They also helped me to change certain habits in how I carry myself (and my baby!) which in combination with their amazing treatments has given me amazing results. Now I am pain free and feel like myself again. Best of all they are wonderful, caring people who listen. I couldn't recommend them more.

I have attended Back and Active for the past 18 months or so for back and neck pain. Damian has done a great job on both and I am currently pain free and following his recommended stretches and exercises. I had a Jiu Jitsu injury which I had been told be a different therapist I had nothing to worry about. I talked on the phone to Back and Active a few times and eventually it was decided I should come and have it looked at (I hesitated because they are quite far away from where I live). It turns out to have been the best decision I of could made. I did have a problem, a fairly serious one had it not been looked at. Damien has been really great to work with, he is really easy going and make each visit a pleasure, in fact I really enjoy the treatment. I am now pretty much fixed but will continue to visit to make sure everything stays in place and also to get a massage each month! Back and Active were the only place that understood what my issue might have been via a phone conversation (other than a guy who charged 4 times the price). I'm currently trying to get my father to visit for his back and will recommend to anyone who I think could benefit. Thanks guys!

I've recently had a shoulder operation to repair a torn tendon on my right rotator cuff. My 4 month old baby was suffering badly with a stiff neck which resulted to her not feeding properly and constant crying. Camilla came to see us and after the 1st session I had a much different baby. Damien is fantastic. I had a very bad pain in my back after lifting a weight "wrong" and Damien fixed me with two treatments. I also used to be a professional drummer so had various small issues (from playing and lugging around heavy equipment) which he would sort out easily and regularly.

My partner has been seeing Damien for several years. His treatments have been very effective, and equally important, his manner is reassuring and calm. Impeccable care, and genuine concern for his patients. Damien is a top notch osteo! I don't understand the 1 star rating at the bottom of the list here - there is no explanation for it. If there was a legitimate complaint, it should be documented. I hope Google will delete it; it is certainly unwarranted.

Damien helped me overcome severe lower back-pain a few years ago, when nothing and no-one else I tried had helped. I tried physio, acupuncture, chiropractor to no avail. He is very fast and accurate in diagnosing the problem and after providing relief from acute pain, he suggests very useful exercises to strengthen and prevent for going forward. My now quarterly sessions with Damien, that we dub "MOTs" help me be virtually pain-free. On separate occasions he has helped me reduce excessive subcutaneous tissue growth post-surgery. Highly recommended!

Damien has been my savior on more than one occasion over the years. Having struggled with back issues for many years Damien is the first specialist I have met that has made marked improvement in my daily health and prolonged back mobility. The Orthotics he had made for me have been a game changer. He’s my first recommendation always!

I broke my ankle in 2013. It healed crooked and I could not walk straight. I was in pain, beyond belief, in my hips and then my back. Constant trips to my GP and the hospital. Every time I was told there was nothing they could do except give me exercises with a rubber band thing that were excruciatingly painful and made it worse. About a year to two years later I was desperate and my friend recommended these wonderful people who had sorted out a lifetime back problem that no one else had been able to fix for her.. It did take several sessions and l followed a manageable, pain free exercise programme to relearn how to adjust and balance the way I was walking but I have been pain free since and no longer have any problems. So worth it. I came on here because another friend of mine's elderly mother has a dislocated shoulder that the hospital say they cannot fix. I realised I never left any feedback at the time and decided to share my experience.

Damien has been my "go to man" for many years now to treat my neck, knees and shoulders when I've injured them doing something daft like mountain biking, snowboarding or white water rafting, or indeed just sitting with poor posture at the computer. We now have another reason to visit this brilliant practice, as Camilla, in Baby Whisperer guise, has recently started treating our new baby girl. She had latching & feeding issues which were giving us (& the midwives) cause for concern after an instrumental delivery. We can happily report that she's now latching on & thriving, much to our relief. We've also learnt some handy tricks to soothe her in the middle of the night, which I'm sure our neighbours will thank Camilla for!
