I've been at Lydian for nearly 6 months and I can honestly say it has changed my life. It's everything I hoped a workspace would be - welcoming, inspiring and with a proper sense of community, like the best office you've ever had without any of the workplace tensions and a lot more table tennis. I can't believe how lucky I got to find it just down the road from my flat! I'm so much more productive here than I was working at home, it's given me the separation I needed between work and home and I look forward to coming in and seeing everyone every day. Lydian has managed to create a perfect atmosphere that's conducive to getting work done while also being warm, friendly and sociable when you want it to be. There's even quite often a friendly doggy to stroke when you need some stress relief! I couldn't recommend it higher if I tried.

Lydian is not just a workspace, it's a family of the loveliest people ever. The studio itself is light, airy and peaceful, and there’s a separate open-plan lounge area for long group lunches, brilliant banter and highly competitive table tennis. There are oodles of social events, including cinema outings, bowling and frisbee in the park, but there’s no pressure to join in. There always seems to be a birthday cake on the go, so brace yourself if you’re watching your waistline. Oh, and if work stress gets too much, there’s usually at least one fluffy dog around to cuddle. It’s a truly special place and I feel very lucky to be part of it.

I have tried out all kinds of co-working spaces in London over the years, but Lydian is totally different - it is a true community of friendly, like-minded people who have all become my friends, and I look forward to getting there every day! It has really helped my focus with work as well, I am a freelancer who struggles with motivation and focus when working from home so for me it's a perfect environment to focus if I need to, or clear my head with a friendly chat if I need a break. I cannot recommend Lydian enough.

My tenure so far at Lydian Workspace has been brilliant! I work in one of the amazing soundproof studio rooms which is perfect for my work as a musician, but the best thing about being there is the people; friendly and interesting, with a variety of backgrounds and professions. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. I highly recommend this workspace to anyone looking for an alternative to working at home alone.
