We had been using our private bank for many years as we transfer funds abroad regularly until we were recommended to use Magna Financial by a friend. Their service has been outstanding and regularly kept us in the loop of the financial market movements as purchasing large sums, small fluctuations can make make a significant difference. Their exchange rates were brilliant that our private bank couldn't compete with and whenever we transferred funds abroad, the funds arrived within 24 hours and on some occasions the same day whereas using our bank would usually take a couple of days. I was told by my Spanish estate agent that Magna were the go to company to change my money up to buy my new home in the sun. They weren’t wrong. I signed up and 5 minutes later Osman came into my life. From the minute he explained what he could do for me to the minute I paid for my house he was there. This guy has been amazing. He spoke to me at my level and I felt like I was talking to a mate. I was a terrible customer,.I panic and worry . When you are buying a house abroad it’s a massive step. This company took one worry away from me. I did have trouble logging in to their site which got a bit frustrating. But I called Osman who did everything to sort it. Even logging in to his work system to help me rest in the middle of the night. To sum up for me Osman went above and beyond to get me a good rate and held my hand all the way through the could have asked for more. I would 100% recommended this guy and company.

Our estate agent in Tenerife recommended Magna Financial for conversion of GBP to EURO to purchase our property and, although we had an existing relationship with another broker, we decided to give them a try. From the first call to Osman we felt in good hands and reassured he would advise us well on timings to buy Euro. It is no easy job buying your home in the sun but Osman made the process exceptionally smooth. He had our account set up quickly and smoothly, login was seamless and transactions were so simple as a result. The advice we received from Osman was spot on in a very volatile time for GBP. He was in constant contact with up to the minute market information. We said we would convert half the purchase price then hold off for a Brexit deal!? to convert the other half to see if we could do better. He talked us through this strategy obtained a great rate and was by our side the entire 3/4 weeks of this process morning and evening. Eventually based on information from Osman , we decided holding further could erase any gains we made and Osman converted the second tranche of money before a significant drop in rate, still at a great price. Overall we were up well over €20k which was a lot more than we predicted. We were really happy with the result but the main thing for us was we felt Osman was by our side through calls, texts, emails with sensible advice. He talked through our options and strategies based on sound market up to the minute information. This sort of personal service was above and beyond what we had experienced from other brokers in the past and far more than expected. Friendly, professional service that delivered on its promises. I can't recommend Magna and Osman enough. We had sold our house in Spain and though it wasn't a huge amount it was all we would have for our retirement. While I had used another reputable money transfer company, they did charge a fee which was sizeable. It was nothing compared to what the Spanish bank would have charged just to deposit my own money and then transfer it. When my estate agent recommended Magna I was very wary, but I looked on here and read good reviews and took the plunge. I was called by Osman and from the start he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was friendly, professional and reassuring. My money is peanuts compared to some of the big deals they transact, but Osman treated me and my funds with respect as if I was a millionaire. He was knowledgeable about the market and had an ability to convey complex information in a straightforward, way, no hiding behind jargon, everything was explained. Neither did Osman patronise me. He made me feel important to the company. Because all this started at the beginning of the pandemic, Osman was able to secure a fantastic forward rate for me. Unfortunately we lost this as the buyers were not ready to move before this contract ran out. However, another rate was secured and I was happy enough with it. When the time came my money was transferred by my solicitor to the forward contract account. It was at this time that I was very anxious. What if the money just disappeared? What if I lost everything? It was a Spanish bank holiday so I had to wait over the weekend biting my nails. Magna emailed me as soon as the funds arrived and then Osman rang and confirmed they would transfer them. Within two hours it was in my UK bank account and I was a millionaire! Well not quite, but it was exactly the amount Osman had promised. I doubt I will ever have that kind of money again, but if I did I would trust it to Magna and Osman. These were difficult times for him and the team but despite this they remained professional and held my hand right until the end. Thanks Osman!

They had worked with Osman on previous occasions and upon their recommendation, and reading online Reviews, I decided to appoint Magna to act for our family in repatriating the funds to the UK. I spoke to Saeed and eventually transferred a six figure sum to transfer to euro’s it was a bit daunting to give that amount to a company just on a recommendation we got a good rate possibly could have got more if we had waited but due to the Brexit fiasco it could have been a lot worst would I go with Saeed and Magna Financial again? 100% YES I waited until the money (which was transferred in full without any deductions which our usual company would have deducted £390) had been transferred to my Solicitor before writing this review.
