C. A.Absolutely fantastic building. Great exhibitions and facilities. Warning: it WILL be extremely busy. I’ve been here many times over the years and I’ve never been here when it’s been quiet. On this occasion we came at 11am and there were already hoards of school children and tourists, but for such an amazing place you just need to suck it in and enjoy it! The museum is free (but oddly now you have to join a queue where it asks you to make an optional donation, which can be a bit misleading to some people). Gift shop is great! You also have the science museum and V&A next door if you want to make a day of it.
