Reviews of SEA LIFE Centre London Aquarium
A. H. M.
I visited Sea Life Aquarium over the weekend. I must say that it was a good experience visiting Aquarium. This would be really interesting for the kids to know about the sea world.
Tip 1: If you are travelling through National rail to London, please use 2for1 offer on tickets.
Tip 2: Have a good meals before visiting Aquarium as you have to walk for 2-3 hours.
Tip 3: If you are penguin lover, you should visit them before sunset. Penguin section will be dark by sunset allowing penguins to sleep.
I. S.
Great attraction for children and adults. Lots of interesting sea creatures to see. Buggies can move around just fine and there is a lift to take you to each floor. Toilets and baby changing facilities on each floor. You can buy tickets in advance but you have to specify a time. It will save you time and a little bit of money if you are going on a weekend. If you are visiting on a weekday during the day you can easily buy tickets there. Try and visit before sunset so you can see the penguins as well. Biggest fish to find are the sharks and the turtles. Amazing jelly fish. If you are going with kids takes snacks and water as you can take 2 hours to go around if you are interested in everything. Overall, worth the visit and recommend it!

Brilliant aquarium, lovely staff. We had our trains cancelled due to weather and the staff were very accommodating by letting us enter the day after. It’s a beautiful aquarium for all ages and a lot of interesting information about all of the their wildlife. It starts off a little busy depending on when you go but as you walk through the crowds disperse more and everyone gets a chance to see everything. Thank you!
A. H.
This has been on my list for ages and I finally went and it exceeded my expectations! Absolutely loved looking at all the sea creatures and even touching a star fish which was CRAZILY AMAZING! The jellyfish were beautiful and the illuminating light in the tanks really accentuated them. I just loved everything about this experience and I can’t fault it at all. 10/10 would recommend!
J. J.
Great experience for group of friends and couples. Children love it. Informative, exciting for all ages groups. Snacks, beverages and social distancing. Definitely recommend. Worth it.

I was a bit disappointed. it looked dirty in some areas. COVID situation is not taken serious here, lots of crowded places I felt bad near the end because it was hard to breathe. I couldn't see the penguins part because there were crowds there all the time. It wouldn't hurt to have more separations in the aquarium. Overall it was alright. I guess Lisbon aquarium really set the bar high for me.

A very enjoyable day for me, sister and son. We begun our journey on the train leading to Westminster. Total cost of journey was £5 for return as well. Along the way, you cross the bridge to amazing views of London. As you reach your destination to sea life, you can see many other attractions.
You enter the attraction and your journey begins! You start off with walking over the sharks. A thrilling experience, especially if your scared. As you continue throughout, you will find many different species of sea life.
They had a new area for virtual reality. However, walking through this area seemed dull as the members of staff just stood their chatting away. The only thing explaning what happens in virtual was on the notice board... therefore, we decided not to use this area. Staff need to be more approachable and more friendly.
Reaching the end, the shop staff were amazing. They asked my son if he enjoyed his day and what was his favourite animal etc. This tops to an amazing finish!
I would recommend you take a good camera for photos. It's very dark in there and I only managed to get a few good photos.
For kids recommended 100%. To finish off the trip there's a fish and chips shop around the corner. Along with a few other attractions to see.
A. S. (. T.
I had great experience and wonderful time there.. highly recommend place to visit in London.
You can spend more than one hour band you will not feel bored. You will enjoy watching the fish and many different things as as watching jungle life things ..
They have done a great and hard work to this place..
The price might be little high but for sure you will not regret.

A wonderful place for kids with lots to see. Probably even too much for kids younger than 6, as there weren't many opportunities to rest and have a snack for them. There is a vending machine at the beginning, but nothing there that's of interest to kids. Sea Life Centre in Brighton, for example, has a nice cafe in the middle of the ground floor, which we really appreciated with kids aged 2 and 5. Would be good to have something similar in the London Sea Life center too. It takes over 3 hours to see everything inside as it's very busy (we visited on a Saturday).
A. N.
Visited Aug2021. Pre-booked tickets as part of the multi attraction offer. Got in after 5 minutes of queuing. Not very busy. Amazing experience for the whole family especially the tunnel and the jellyfish. Lots of viewing points for all to enjoy. Plenty of toilets and sanitising points. Gift shop at exit.
A. A.
I went for Nostalgia's sake, I remember it being bigger the last time I visited. It would be a nice place to take kids though.
Highlights were the sharks and the penguins.
Some of the enclosures seemed a little small.
R. J.
Bought the tickets to London eye and sea life as a package - we were totally glad we visited sea life. You need almost 2-3 hours to see everything. What a fun way to learn about sea life, reptiles, insects and what not! There are penguins in there too 😍
L. R.
Our son is fanatical about sharks so we always visit the local aquariums when on holiday. The London Sealife is worth a visit, the creatures are similar to other sites but the decor and scenes are brilliant. Worth getting the multiple attraction tickets as lots in the immediate area to do and makes it much more affordable.

We had a great time here on Xmas eve. It was 4 mums and 6 children ages 20 months to 15yrs old and they all enjoyed it thoroughly. There's something for everyone and the smaller children seem to be in awe of everything, especially if they've never been before. We pre ordered our tickets the month before and we got in easily with no queuing. The staff are very good with the kids, they are friendly and create a playful atmosphere. There is so much to see. At one point I wondered when it was going to end 😂. The penguins and turtles were amazing. Really cool place, even for a date. The gift shop has lots to choose from for all budgets, from rubber sharks that were around £3 and really cute soft toys for £15. I bought 2 soft toys, 2 keyrings, a shark and a boat and it came up to just under £60. Averaging at £20 per child. We also bought our photo of our group which comes in a book with different backgrounds. It's £20 for 3 photos with the book. There were other bundles available both cheaper and more expensive. All in all lovely day out. There are plenty places to eat nearby. We walked round to Cote which is next door to Honest Burger and a few other places I cannot remember.
I almost forgot they also have a 5min VR experience which was £12 I think for my 10 and 15yr old. They said it was good and enjoyed it. They have hurricane booths that are around £1 where you experience high winds inside this cylinder. The kids enjoyed this as well.
N.
Beautiful location, Wonderful entrance and absolutely gorgeous aquarium. So many varieties of water life to see and learn. Best place to take kids to when you need to stay indoors. Plus, You can also touch star fishes. ⭐️
I. P.
We really enjoyed our day out ,great place for kids, clean and covid safe, lift for pushchairs, great value for money,
P. S.
The place is great and well maintained. It's a good fun to go with the whole family. There's a big variety of animals and they seems well treated.
K. M.
Beautiful place to visit on your own or with family/friends. I would recommend to be there at your booked time and to use virtual reality before you leave ( don't forget to look around!☺️ ) Enjoy!
N. B.
We managed to get a buy-one get half-price child ticket. It was absolutely worth the money spent and more! A really amazing display of different types of fish, all the tanks looked immaculate and the fish well cared for. Beautiful tank displays, loved all the concepts. Huge emphasis on saving our oceans which is important for children to learn. Sharks, turtles, piranhas, stingrays,so many seahorses and so much more! Including Coral Kingdom. A jungle section too and we got to touch a starfish! A large section dedicated to Jellyfish (my daughter is obsessed) so we had one very happy young lady! An Ice section with Penguins. Easy to find, right on the embankment! We hope to visit again soon!
T.
One of the best attractions that I have visited so far. The area with the jellyfish was definitely my favourite, i could watch them for hours. I also loved the sharks, the stingrays and the penguins. Highly recommended despite the entrance being a little bit on the expensive side.
E. A.
A beautiful and well kempt place with well kept/protected, and nurtured creatures. Temperature required for the survival of these creatures are being maintained as seen in the session for the penguins. It's really an adventure and a way of learning. Easy accessibility and navigation. Also, souvenir session is available at the end of the journey.
L. S.
Been in other aquariums in different cities in the uk but by far this is the best. We had an amazing day both adults and kids enjoyed it, our two years old became obsessed with shark after our visit as he really enjoyed watching them. They have some other activities for kids for extra cost like face painting and virtual reality, our kids liked both of this activities. Definitely worth a visit and the money as you can easily spend few hours there.
R. K.
Nice, but glass not new, you can't see everything so clearly like you want to.But it's a good experience! You will see interesting animals forsure. Fairly price could be 20£, not 30£.
A.
Went today for my daughters 2nd bday. We had an absolute blast. Great size tanks and lots of ledges to sit or stand on for little people. Lifts available for buggy access and multiple toilet facilities and baby changing. Overall just an all round brilliant day out.
A. S. A. T.
Mother& I had a long walk through world ...
You could seat and chill for hours watching the sea life... exploring you will have a wonderful time here for sure if you love water!
P. B.
A great place to for all to visit whilst in London, although I'm a Londoner myself. Experience the wonder of many magnificent creatures from all around our glorious world as you move from zone to zone. The turtles and sharks are my personal favourite, I'd love to dive with them... but who doesn't like a penguin?
A decent day out for all. I must say though, try to get some half price tickets through various websites or sometimes via offers with your credit card company, bank or even who you shop with, as the day can work out quite pricey for a family or small group once you add on extras like lunch etc.
I'm not an extreme environmentalist but would add that I was quite surprised by what seemed to be a lot of plastic products available via the souvenir shop. Perhaps they are recycled plastics? but not a great look as we all (hopefully) are doing a little bit at the very least to try to save the oceans. Maybe some more eco-friendly options would of made us part with some more cash... Just a thought.
P. s.
A good day out and worth seeing if not been before. Once done, it’s quite a linear route - you have pretty much covered it in an hour and then that’s it. Can be pricey so do look out for discounted tickets and offers. A good variety of sea-life.
t.
Went to the aquarium with my 4 year old just after the school holidays were finished.
Overall was a great morning.
Wasn't overly crowded and there were a few queues mainly at the tunnel through the big tank.
The setup is really good with two massive tanks that you go around with lots of different views into them from different angles and levels. We also got to touch a star fish which was a lot of fun for my son.
Is a very expensive experience and you do basically walk around it all once. Would have been nice to be able to do the route around more than once but not sure if this is due to covid restrictions or just to increase capacity.
A. F.
We went to Sea life London, with our 18yr and 2yrs daughters and it was a blast. We were all entertained – not only from watching our 2yr try to kiss fish through the glass (they do say there are plenty of fish in the sea) but seeing all that Sea Life had to offer. – Huge turtles, Sharks, Jelly Fish, String Ray, Penguins … the list goes on. The place is also very clean, well heated and there wasn’t one moment where we felt as though it was overly crowed. #perfectfamilyday

This is a great experience for people at all ages. We've been here a couple of times and everyone was enjoying it. It's one of London attractions that needs to be on everyone list. If you are planning to spend a family day out in London then you should definitely include London Aquarium on your list. The process is very smooth if you buy your tickets online. You then show up at the chosentime, present your tickets and after a quick security check you are on your way. There is no rush, to time limit and you can do the tour at your own pase. My advise: take your time and enjoy it 😉.
w. h.
Nice place but quite small with many missing animals. Did not see sea otters and many other fish
.. Birmingham sea life is better to visit.
a. n.
Lovely day out with the kids. They've so many sea life from the amazon rainforest, under the sea and the North poll. They also have a little snack bar if you need a snack. You can also touch baby starfish and buy cool accessories.
V. C.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon so naturally allot of children and quite busy, but it was still a nice experience and there was quite allot more to see than I imagined, we stayed about 1.30hr, I think max you can enjoy is about 2 hours, it's a fun thing to experience once at least
R. B.
Love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love it here absolutely wonderful place. Great for all ages . Very educational too . So many wow moments. It's so so cool .. My favourite are the seahorses ❤
M. K.
Great experience for all the family, specially the very first part, when walking over glass pane with Sharks swimming below🦈
Perfect location next to other attractions and close to Westminster Subway across the bridge. Advisable to prebook during school holidays.
S. H.
Amazing experience especially for the little ones. The complete tour is around 1.5-2hrs walk around the aquarium. Staff were so helpful. Would definitely go again.
G. H.
My first ever experience during the last week till Christmas and it was soo much fun I can't begin to explain, cheap tickets and a must SEA show.
H. M.
Overall a lovely experience and my 8 year old son thoroughly enjoyed it. It took us 2 hours to get around it. Loved watching the sharks circling around their tank. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I would recommend for children and adults alike
K.
Have a family friendly layout, have lifts and all facilities (toilets, etc).
There's 2 big aquarium one with sharks, and another with stingray, sea turtle, fishes. There's quite alot of smaller aquarium but variety is not that great.
The section with jellyfish/penguin is really nice.
I know it's middle of London but i think it's just a little overpriced.
S. S.
Nice have fish, but penguins are more cute and adorable.. Good for kids to visit
A. G. P. (.
Time:
It takes time to see everything due to the sheer amount of people. A lot of kids so expect interruption for photos.
Photography;
Overall, it is hard to take photo with phone so I recommend bringing photo that can catch their speed and allow light into the lenses.
Due to waiting and all you often lose the opportunity to see the best angle by the time it is your turn
Other entertainment:
Inside you can do VR and touch shell fish to name a few.
My favourites:
I quite liked the jelly fish changing color and the penguins.
C. d. O.
We went with our 3 year old and spent a great time there. There is a good selection of Sea-life and others, the jellyfish are beautiful.
Very entertaining for kids. At the beginning you have to walk through a transparent glass ( short distance with water and fishes down there ) and personally I found it a bit scary but was able to do it ! There is also virtual reality session if you are into this and we were able to leave our buggy in the entrance for £2. Staff is very friendly . The gift shop at the end has a great selection. Overall Very good.
H. A.
Nothing beats a good ol Aquarium! Tons of species and a rainforest section, and talks are allways happening around the place. It is super easy to navigate as there is one way to walk. You might have to wait for people sometimes but not very often. Very fun and cool
O. F.
The Sea Life Centre had so many sea creatures. I didn’t imagine that they could have as many creatures as I found there.
The centre is also carefully designed to guide you through each massive aquarium so you go from small creatures to large. I even got to touch a Starfish!
There are seahorses, starfishes, sharks, jellyfishes, penguins and all sorts of sea animals there. I totally recommend this location for lovers of adventures! 💯
K. B.
The full price entry fee is expensive, but you can swap Tesco Clubcard vouchers for entry in advance to save money.
It has a variety of sea creatures and amphibians, along with some virtual reality headsets (you pay extra for these) and animated polar bears and seals.
Some popular parts, such as the penguins, can get very crowded, and difficult to see if a large group is visiting.
I.
Great day out. Kids enjoyed it. Also found Nemo and Dory :)
Went later in the day (4pm) so penguins were asleep.
A. K.
My kid enjoyed this alot. We spent almost 1.30 hrs inside, Jelly fish and penguins are must watch. Games for kids are also available.
J. a. R.
A great day out for all the family. Lots of different creatures to see and learn about. Areas with a sensory section as well; really enjoyed seeing the turtle and the sharks!
J. M.
My 5year old absolutely loved the aquarium!
A good variety of fishes.. there's a nice big glass walk with sharks swimming underneath which is amazing.
The little ones get to touch star fishes.
And lovely little penguins as well. A wonderful experience
Y. H.
An outstanding aquarium. You will see various types of fish and animals including Sharks, piranha, stingray, small and huge jellyfish, pingouins, crocodiles, turtles, and even a jungle section with ants and lizards.
The entrance is so cool because they have a glass bridge where you can see the sharks swimming below you.
A must if you’re visiting London.
S. H.
Went with family, including an 8 year old and a 1 year old. The kids both had a whale of a time. We were left to make our way through in our own time, so could take it all in.
I felt it was good value for money: We kept thinking we'd reached the end, only to find another section.
I would recommend having a go on the VR experience.
S. C.
The most unbelievable 2 hours I spent underground...It should be on your bucket list. Phenomenal experience for both my daughter and I.
J. V.
Small place. Few to see. Can get a ticket combined with another attraction there for less money. A bit upset because in the end they asked me to pay £ 30 for a pict they will take to everyone once inside. Inside 3D attraction for £8 each.
R. D.
Take advantage of less tourists in London to visit. Very educational, great for kids & projects. I loved the jelly fish & amazon area. Very responsible, so size of fish & sharks match the space given.
L. D.
Couple of floors to explore of animals, couple of activities you can join in on along the way too. Around £40 for an adult for this one attraction so you're better off buying a multi attraction ticket and going to a few more saving some pennies.
A. R.
The place is full of sea animals of all kinds. Those who do not have an ideological problem with such places can greatly enjoy.
I had a hard time with the fact that the whole structure is very narrow and I often felt very suffocated.
D.
We loved this place. Kids were totally engaged throughout, and so we're us adults. Very good value for money.
P. Z.
Amazing experience, also including exotic/tropical jungle and winter land.
M. J.
Took my 7yo and we both loved it. It's not an all day place, but there's a good park round the corner, and there's plenty to see round Southbank. Would definitely go again. The tunnel was the favourite bit, and we found Nemo & Dory :)
I. G.
After years of living in London I finally visited this quite popular attraction. To be honest it is worth all the money. The place is huge and it is an amazing experience.
P. J.
Expensive for a basement fish tank, but does what it says on the glass tin. I would recommend getting an adult entry free voucher off the back of a packet of Rice Krispies though as it'll make it economically viable. There are some interesting things to see though, and I liked the way it was zoned. Keeping penguins underground in a basement under the Thames though does seem a bit wrong.
R. F.
Comparing this with the one in Sydney, Australia, it has less number of animals and smaller in size. However, it absolutely worths visiting this place if you have kids. The staff are friendly and the accessibility is acceptable if you have pram.
A. S.
I went there on a Friday morning by myself. Staff are helpful from the entrance. Overall it is clean and the fishes look happy. However for the size of UK/London it is quite a small aquarium.. Its a good size for kids. They don't have many big tanks, they had many different windows for the same tank so you might have mistaken that you seen lots of stuff but it's the same shark tank 😭 penguins are super cute!! Jellyfish are well lightened by different neon colors. Anyway it's a good experience 😊
D. W.
A very enjoyable experience seeing a wide variety of sea creatures. I've seen similar at zoos but the scale of the tanks here are enormous. You get to see large sharks, lots of fish, turtles, jellyfish, rays, sea horses etc. A highlight were the baby penguins!
T. F.
It was a good experience. There were a lot of aquatic animals. It was sad I went in the evening and some were already asleep but it was still a surreal experience
V. B.
Great place to visit for kids and adults.
Better to book tickets in advance online but you might get lucky and to get them in the ticket office same day if there won't be too many visitors.
Variety of fishes and sharks 🦈 with massive aquariums really impressed us all. There are penguins and entire part of Sea Life dedicated to jellyfish.
J. M.
If you are staying in London, you should consider visiting this place. It contains enormous amount of information about (not only) sea life.
A. K.
Well preserved and presented for the guests. You can really feel the vibes of sea life. VR was also good and informative.
G. D.
Very good and interesting. Quite expensive for a family.
P. P.
Fantastic location and lovely selection of sealife animals.
However, personally I think it’s not worth the price of admission; I think it should be around £8-10 per adult.
Parking was okay to locate just your normal pay and display so was straight forward.
Next up we will visit London Zoo! :)
J.
Positives:
Turtles were pretty cool
Staff were pleasant
Negatives:
- I understand, that as a central London attraction, you have very little space to work with. However, they NEED to limit the number of people in the attraction at one time. There was very little space to see a lot of the animals due to the number of people in the aquarium.
- There isn't actually a huge amount to see. Some of the exhibits (the rock pool section) was closed. Then, some of the exhibits were just videos of different sea animals. The main tank (with the turtles/sharks etc.) could be seen on 3 different levels but that was basically it. Full-price is £30 an adult. That's a joke.
M.
My daughter loved coming here and it was nice to have a fun time with her. However I think it’s on the expensive side when you’re in and out in under 2 hours
R. G.
I Best Sealife Central i have even been to in London hopefully I will get to come back very soon
l. h.
Very well laid out but far too many people in the small areas and hardly anyone wearing a face mask - the lookout pods were not wiped or controlled a definite health hazard the virtual under the water looked good and was cleaned each time but a little expensive. I could not obtain a guide book or souvenir book although I had a voucher with my e ticket nobody seemed to know where I was supposed to go. However my grandson thoroughly enjoyed the experience
S. T.
Loved it, only draw back is that there were too many people in there
A. C.
Unfortunately it doesn't compare to other aquariums I've visited in terms of the variety of sea life and how they're presented. Each area was quite dark and didn't make for great pictures. Despite covid protocols and having allocated time slots, it was still quite busy and the narrow paths created lots of bottlenecks. Location is great, right next to London dungeon and the London eye, but this is also why it's probably had to sacrifice lots of space.
T. C.
A great place for the kids, adults don't really get bored either, it's interesting and fascinating. We spent just over two hours there and that felt about right.
Full price would be a bit expensive, £80 for 2 adults and 1 child. Always buy a box of cereal with a 2 for 1 deal on the box. This saved me £30!!
J. D.
I took my 5 year old for her birthday, I don’t have any complaints about this. She absolutely loved it, especially the sharks. I loved the jellyfish. The staff were friendly and welcoming , we would happily go back again.
k. b.
Really nice day out. There was a large variety of sea life on display and I found the layout of the aquarium itself to be easy to follow. It was very busy, but that is to be expected with its central location. It was also all done pretty much within an hour, so my only complaint is that there could have been more wildlife added to the aquarium, to lengthen the experience. Overall though, this was a great experience.
S. B.
A great day out, I always love coming here. Every time I visit I am more amazed and impressed than the last time. It's not as big as some aquariums in the country, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in displays. Beautifully displayed tanks, awesome signage and an interesting collection of marine fauna, staff always friendly. And excellent conservation projects carried out by SeaLife. Definitely well worth a visit. Takes roughly 2 hours to get round.
C. R.
To spend 1-2 hrs, this is a lovely place to go. There are plenty of exhibits and creatures to see and learn about. However, for the price you pay, it is recommended you only go if you have kids as they will get the most out of it, as a lot of the exhibits and interactive areas are aimed at them. All in all though as a couple we had a lovely trip out, the aquarium itself is in a nice area and I could've spent all day watching the sharks!
T. A.
This place is home to a big old sea turtle; all sorts of rays; a bunch of sharks, of course; and other fish, including piranhas, which, if movies have taught me anything, are not to be trifled with. Sadly, however, there was no octopus. Even if there were, it’d probably be long gone by the time you read this review, given that octopuses only live for six months. Fun fact from me, not the aquarium. Please finish reading this review before looking that up. Anyway, where was I? Ah, yes! Sea creatures are not the only things that live here.
There are also reptiles, amphibians, insects, and other creepy crawlies, most of which can be found in the aquarium’s jungle section. Speaking of land-going creatures, the penguins, who were undoubtedly plotting their escape, were a joy to watch. They waddled around like little monsters, jumping in and out of the water, amusing kids, adults, and themselves while they were at it.
That said, the jellyfish, of all things, totally stole the show. Glowing bright against the darkness, they were showcased like jewels under a spotlight and left an everlasting impression on yours truly. These magnificent organisms (let’s call them what they are: aliens) floated gracefully in their quarters, pulsating and surging across panoramic tanks, hovering like ghosts in the night. They were hypnotizingly beautiful. So much so, I accidentally busted my nose in an effort to get a closer look. Be mindful when peering into the portholes: the glass domes outwards.
If you’re looking for a nonhuman interaction, grab your phone. If you’re sick of your phone, you’re in luck. You can, for example, touch a starfish if you’re so inclined. I was more interested in catching a live performance. Thankfully, there was one. A man with a mic, who is a marine biologist and not George Costanza, stood among us regular folk, dropping knowledge about the sea creatures that swam around in the gigantic tank behind him. He was wise, well-spoken, and unincumbered by loud children and disinterested adults. He was also wearing a mask. I was not surprised. He was, after all, a hero. And there is, in fact, a pandemic going on. Again, I digress.
The London Aquarium is great. Give them your money. And say hello to the penguins for me.
A. L.
We all love it here, adults and children! Lots to see a it's great that there is a bit where you can touch a starfish and other bits too.
S. C.
Great experience for young and old alike. Well laid out, lots of things to see and enjoy. Great for young kids (took a 3 and 1yo). All in all took uas about 3hrs to get round (with a couple of snack stops!)
Pretty pricey without a deal though.
v. c.
I visited Sea Life London with my 11 yr old boy and we both enjoyed it. Many nice display of interesting fish and sea animals in the setting of a Nautilus's theme decor. Like the giant shark tank, the penquin happy roam in adequate sized habitat, well-stocked piranha tank, and colorful coral fish.
K.
This is a lovely place to visit with the kids, and is laid out in an IKEA style maze which allows you to see everything they have to offer. As you enter you walk over the central shark tank and further along the journey there is another tank that you can walk under. During the walk round there are bathrooms close to the entrance and at other place around the walk as well. There are also different interactive areas for the kids. Some which you had to pay for (such as virtual reality swimming with Wales and sharks). However I would recommend getting there early if you can as it can get busy and not many people understand the concept of personal space (even by pre-Covid standards). All pictures and videos where taken with flash off as instructed to prevent harm to the animals.

Apart from the small plastic bags that were floating around in one area, our family loved the trip! 😁 Great for kids and sensory lighting was a bonus.
S. B.
Love this place. Come every time we visit the city. I was really unwell when we came but I feel much better being surrounded by water. We saw the huge turtles being fed! One ate a whole leak longways! Stunning! Very clean and hygienic all round. Lack of seats anywhere though.
C. T.
Fun walking amusement of an aquarium. You are funneled by many tanks of different sizes seeing the fish on display. The penguin exhibit was fun. There are quite a few sharks in one of the tanks. A couple big sea turtles, many rays. There are a couple stops to grab refreshments and bathrooms.
P. P.
Loved it! We also did London Dungeon and Madame Tussaud’s that day. The aquarium was by far the best attraction.
A. A.
Nice place to visit. Lots of different fishes and activities for kids.
V. D.
Lots of areas of wildlife and obviously lots of fish!! Sharks, skates and rays amazing jelly fish displays could of stayed for hours longer .. virtual reality dive was amazing experience
N. B.
Awesome experience, very great for the people who loves to explore about sea life.
F. Z.
Fun for all ages! Took about 2 hours in total to go through all sections which were all interesting in their own way. Ques not very long.
S. L.
Love this place. I cannot wait to take my nephew here in August as he is obsessed with sealife. I went many years ago and again recently and it was amazing both times. It was disabled friendly although some areas got quite busy and it was hard to see fish, if you waited people were kind enough to move so I could see.
Z. H.
I've been a few times over the last 5 years and the place it's self is great. However more staff around the place near the tanks would be helpful as a lot of families were being very selfish and blocking tanks for up to 30mins at a time. Our time slot was super busy!! Very cramped considering we in the middle of a pandemic.
The sealife staff were all friendly and helpful.
My son loved the added feature of the VR Experience.
J. W.
Had a great time at the aquarium. Slightly concerned with COVID etc. but still managed to have a great time. However, for those that are concerned with COVID rules (social distancing etc.);
- Hard to stay social distanced within the aquarium with kids running back and forth and parents moving around.
- Entrance time slot doesn't mean too much as once you're in, it doesn't matter (there is no 1000 entrants being pushed to make room for 1015 entrants)
Considering how many families visit this place (with young children) with heaps of luggage and bag packs, it is somewhat 'buggy unfriendly' as it is difficult to move around with the buggy as the corridors are narrow and dark and there are people everywhere. Maybe they have a place to put buggies but when we went there weren't any.
a. s.
Amazing place and it's especially good for the kids
E. B.
Took two grandchildren aged 6 and 12. Booked online and was staggered at the expense, neatly £200 for three kids and two adults. Was heavily advised online to spend an extra £50 to secure entry (even though I’d just bought tickets!)
It progressively got better as we walked around and the children enjoyed it. There was more to see that I’d expected but even afterwards I felt £200 was way too much for the few hours spent there. I’d recommend if you seriously like sea life.
r. p.
Great day out. Stingrays are awesome, tonks of clown fishes for Nemo loving kids. Highly recommended London attraction
P. B.
Not bad but not the best sea life centre in the UK by far. The displays are limited. There is only one decent sized tank which you view from every level (3 I think) with the sharks in, otherwise the tanks are all small and not many of them. The bonus is the penguins towards the end. It's not cheap for an hour, which is how long it took to get round, taking our time. Having said all of that my children did enjoy it so 3 stars.
S. T.
Took about two hours to walk around my little girl loved it
Would recommend 👌🏻
Y.
Spent an afternoon here for my nephew's birthday. Was a great day out, and the exhibits were wonderful to experience. I would definitely recommend everyone taking a trip here!
A. T.
INCREDIBLE aquarium. Best part of our whole trip.
P. J. H.
To start off with, my smartphone directions left me behind the Sea Life Centre, with hindsight I should have used The London Eye for navigation. As from the eye you just walk down the left hand side, past the dungeons and Shrek. As everything is prebooked now, you go in through the shark entrance.
My first overall impression was, that it's very small; if you're claustrophobic you won't like it. The whole building is, one giant set of underground caves; set in three levels. No natural light, and curvy floors; made me want to pass out at one stage.
As there's only one way round, you all bunch up; mask wearing past the entrance is up to you. The kids have domes to stand up in and touching activities, whilst flash photography is banned AS FISH HAVE NO EYELIDS. I liked the penguin artic enclosure, as they had distinguishing bands on. I felt the place could of had more there, with only big sharks and turtles around.
A. W.
Lovely place to spend an afternoon - perfect for 2yr old toddler, very interactive and impressive. Easy buggy access and has lifts so you can take buggy with you.
B. D.
Fun day out. Family friendly, but very busy considering covid and although social distancing was advised, it was not in any way enforced. The sharks were v cool, but the penguins were the highlight as there were some babies that had just been announced that week. The section for kids to touch starfish was great.
E. A.
It was a wonderful experience. My nearly 2 year old son was so excited and loved every bit of it. There is so much to watch and so much to learn. You can't get bored there at all. Our favourite were watching the sharks, turtles and of course the cute penguins. For my son I think it loved everything. We spent around 2 hours there and the time just flew by so quickly. I would definitely recommend a visit to the London aquarium
L. B. B.
Such a fantastic experience. I love being able to see up so close to the fish. Remarkable to have rays and turtles swimming above your head.
My only quibble was that there was no where to get any water to drink. When I asked the security guard, his answer was to shrug his shoulders and suggest I get it from the bathrooms! For the price of the tickets, drinking water should be available. Actually, drinking water should be available no matter the ticket price!
D. P.
Many fishes and other species. Sharks also. Nice to visit.
L. S.
Lots to see, definitely worth the money. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. VR experience was good...swimming with sharks. No flash photography as it hurts the creature's eyes.
N. L.
I’m so glad I came here, it was an amazing experience. I got to see all the animals and the penguins are so cute. It was a fantastic birthday treat for me, I would definitely come back again.
D. C.
Excellent place for a half day out.... You can spend from 1-2 hours depending on your interest and how long you want to spend per window.... For young kids the experience will be quite special, in particular the "shark tank". The shark tank has many windows on different floors, the first few windows are quite busy as people think that will be the only place to see sharks but there are other windows on different floors around the tank. Perhaps because it is one of the special attractions. The penguins were quite interesting too. There are adequate sanitiser stations which is quite handy given the Covid 19 situation. There is a virtual augmented reality tour of 5 mins towards the end. It costs £8 per person. Will not recommend this for kids below 4 years old, they simply cant hold on to the gadget over their eyes and it could be hazy for them. Best to avoid and save money.
M. P.
Wooow ,they had all different species, big shark aquarium, really nice experience
L. E.
Sea life London was an amazing experience for all the family. Kids and adults enjoyed seeing so many sea creatures. The facility is clean and safe, baby friendly also you can use a buggy inside and even breastfeed your little ones if you must. Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional and always there if you need.Plus they taking so nice pictures of you and your family with different backgrounds and you can have them in a booklet, key chain or /and magnet. For sure we are going to go again another time.I highly recommend it!!!
M. M.
Very big and alot of different animals l, not just fish. Only problem is that once you are in the aquarium there are limited toilets/baby changing facilities throughout the pathway. Other than that, highly recommended. Great fun for familys.
G. A.
Really nice aquarium that is great value for money and a great way to spend time with children and family.
Sea Life is in a very central location and is the largest coral reef collection in the United Kingdom.
Plenty of sharks, smaller fish insects and all sorts of wildlife from around the world.
Impressed by the penguin sanctuary. They have room.to dive and swim and you are able to see them from close up.
A nice addition is the VR station where you can experience a natural disaster via VR goggle. :)
The staff were very friendly and coordinated good social distancing measures.
Very friendly senior member of staff told me that Sea Life have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to keep the doors open for the public during this pandemic. He made us feel very welcome and told us there is no rush to exit and we can go back and forth the exhibits.
A nice gift shop is located close to the exit with nice souvenirs such as fridge magnets 3 for £10.
Really nice experience. This is somewhere you can.spend a good part of the whole day.
5 stars well deserved.

We had fun here, there was a lot of aquatic life to see. The jellyfish in particular were weirdly hypnotic, and the sharks in the main tank suitably ominous. It's not as big and as impressive as Sealife Brighton or Blackpool however. It's also quite cramped and gloomy and in need of a bit of a refurb in places. Worth it if bought in a combination ticket, or with Merlin pass, but not worth the trip on its own.
#. C.
This was a lovely experience. I would 100% recommend to go as a couple, family or even alone. I wish there were water snakes and eels, however it was really cool and kinda educational
M. H.
I loved it!
OK, it is not the Biggest aquarium, but it is spread on two floors, so that's not bad, I guess. They have this short underwater tunnel, and honestly I sent 10 min there just starring above me :D
The bottom floor was my favorite thought. It was like a walk in the jungle at twilight there. I don't want to give up all details, but you do feel for a minute like if you are in a another world.
But they should really fix the penguin enclosure, looked very sad and plane.
O.
5* rating and time to be had at The London Aquarium. You'll love it trust me😊
S. T.
Much much better than I dared to hope for. Went on a weekday when it was empty and I can't imagine it is much fun during a weekend or a school holiday as it's can be cramped in some areas when you're inside, and some of the tanks quite hard to see. But if you can go outside of rush hour it is fantastic. The main tank is something to see on its own and is worth the visit just for that. Even though it was empty it took is nearly three hours to get through it all as there is a lot to see. A great mix of entertainment and informative education for kids and adults alike and something special and different in London.
T. M.
The aquarium was great a huge selection of marine life to see and great value for money.
T. B.
This should be your place for summer adventure. The kids love it. You can take pictures for memories. Most especially the place is not crowded. Lovely staffs
Z. (.
Really good sea life center, lots to see and some really good theming around the center, interactive areas. Does get busy.
M. F. C.
It was a nice experience, but there wasn't as many exotic marine life like they used to have.

Honest review:
My partner and I were really looking forward to visiting sea life London as this was the first time visiting.
The fish and different species are interesting and overall it was a fun quick experience, the insect section is a bit random and fun, but I guess that’s to make the activity seem longer. Lots of good lights and noises, the jellyfish were amazing!!
In terms of value for money…. its extremely poor… I don’t see how you can charge £24-27 for this walk around experience.
One thing that did irritate me, is when we entered the rock pool section, you were told “YOU CAN TOUCH THE STARFISH BUT MUST WASH HANDS” …. Cool!
I go wash my hands, walk over the rock pool, which btw is covered by a net,- there’s me thinking it was so people couldn’t pick the starfish up, I go to touch a starfish leg that’s holding onto the net, and I get a rude sarcastic remark from a worker “don’t touch the starfish, hence why there’s a net!!”
Soooo… I’ve just been told to touch the starfish, now I’m being told not to, I can only though the middle section… okay… maybe make that clearer next time sea life…. Just didn’t appreciate the rudeness from the staff due to their confusing information.
I was really hoping other reviews about the penguins were over exaggerated or false… but I have to agree, it’s quiet sad to see such beautiful creatures kept in such a confined area, no natural light, or even much space- yes yes, I know the enclosures were “ created and built by professional” … but ethically and compared to their natural habitat, it’s quiet different, anyone can see that.I hope sealife seriously considers a renovation for those penguins, or gets rid of the section all together
Overall it was ok, nothing special, just a bit of fun for about 1 hour which is EXTREMELY overpriced.
P. W.
Great aquarium. Not as spectacular as Toronto yet still very much woth a visit. Large Central tank over several floors as well as many many smaller displays.
t.
About a 2 hour walk round!
From ice animals to water to wildlife. This place covers it all.
So so much to see. Very clean and the animals are well cared for. Very well priced.
Terrible for parking
Great for kids or first dates

After giving him several options of places in the city, my 9 year old opted for the London Aquarium to visit on his birthday. We had some 2 4 1 vouchers obtained from McDonald's, so i was happy, especially as our family of 4 would have been the wrong side of £100! Note: the vouchers aren't accepted at the ticket office, so book online. (Fortunately, one of their many helpful staff offered some assistance, which was appreciated). You then get a code, which you enter into one of their prepaid machines, avoiding the queues. If only I'd known that first before standing in the queue for so long!
So after we got in, my son and his 7 year old sister were absolutely enthralled with the various displays. The looks on their faces, the amount of times they said "wow!" and "look" clearly demonstrated their engagement and excitement. I too found it fascinating and could have easily spent a lot longer (especially the largest display) just sitting and watching. It is true - fish are relaxing to watch! Plenty to see, so although it is quite pricey, I would consider it to be good value. Tip: go and buy a couple of Happy Meals to get the vouchers, you'll get your money back and more!
I definitely would recommend this attraction.
My only comment is to have more staff available please; my children often had questions that I couldn't answer and because it's downstairs, there was no Google! It should be an educational experience as much as it is entertaining.
S. S.
This place was amazing. I went with my wife and child on my last day in London and it was perfect. The variety, the staff everything was great. Probably the best aquarium I have been too. Will definitely go again. Also, location is super prime. Right in front of Big Ben and beside the shrek adventure.
C. G.
The best Sealife experience is here. We really enjoyed our visit, and the children loved it. We'll be back again for another visit soon
G. M.
A great addition to the Southbank tourist attractions. A bit noisy and stimulating if you like peace & quiet, but we'll presented and an educational day out with the kids
D. K.
It does not matter how old you are as we all hopefully have a wish to see our planet survive and if this place can bring attention to the growing need of the preservation of the seas then please visit the Sea Life Centre as its well worth the price of entry.
One small plea if you have a child in d pushchair please stop leaving the chairs right behind those who are looking at the Aquariums as people do step back and they can not always see the chairs!
W. Y.
I had a great time with my kid there. I would record spare at least 2h to see everything properly. Penguin and sharks where my favourite.
The only problem is some parent let they's children stay on the same place for way too much time and blocking the view for others also, it should have an enforcement on respect the queues, some parents straight out ignore and put they're children in from of others.
P.
Wonderful place to visit with kids. COVID safe and need to book time slot for visiting. We didn’t think we would spent more than two hours in Sea Life. There have lots of fish and undersea animals like sharks, Dori, Nemo, piranha, corals... very colourful. Worth visiting!
A. M.
Had a wonderful morning at Sea life. Due to covid you need to wear a mask and social distancing is enforced. But definitely worth a visit. Some absolutely massive sharks and their coral reef is just amazing. As well as the Antarctic area with super cute penguins. Would definitely recommend 👌
M. M.
Lovely place to hang out with children especially. Many animals which They can see and find ouț about. It was a Nice experience
M. _. V.
When we went we absolutely loved it.
I could spend all day there, there was so much to look at.
x.
Super short tunnel aquarium. Penguins are cool.
C. O.
Took my twin grandsons to here. They loved it! Even though one was abit scared as it was dark but we all throughly enjoyed it and had an amazing time.
A. B.
Really good but it was extremely crowded, especially where the large tanks were. There was a vr experience where there was a massive queue but you couldn't get through it unless the employees moved them but obviously that's not the employees fault. All of the fish were really cool and I loved the jellyfish exhibit
J. F.
A lovely way to spend a couple of hours. I went with my two teenagers and they were mesmerized by the various sea creatures. To see the fish, turtles and sea horses up close has strengthened their resolve to fight for the future of our sea life.
Great experience.
S. B.
Lovely aquarium with some excellent exhibits. Really good day out for families with young children as the visit time is under 2 hours.
A. C.
Great day out with my daughter for her third birthday. Staff are all really friendly helpful, nothing was a bother. Staff were really knowledgeable and talked to the children in a great manner that made them excited and interested to hear about the fish and center facts.
M. L.
Much better than our last visit and all sorts of creatures to see - not just fish.
Easily a couple of hours to wander and see everything.
The whole family loved it.
Although very expensive toys/gifts at the exit which can't be avoided if you've small children.
L. S.
I went at sea life with my girlfriend and that was amazing. I thought that will be a little bit boring, but the artic area was the best part of the sea life. The penguins are so cute and hilarious. The only bad side about the sea life is that I think that their tanks aren’t big enough for fish, shark and turtles.
O.
A very well organised system with the sanitising and hand washing sinks in each room and more access to toilets and a security who keeps a eye on customers to follow the 1 way walk through system, no turn backs! To be honest I felt a little restricted but i guess it is what it is. Also I find that trying to social distancing in the aquarium was a bit hard to do so here as many may be watching the same fish/attraction and the crowd will start to gather.
It was nice to be in the aquarium where it wasn't as busy as it would normally be, more free time for sure . The venue still brings a magically atmosphere as you walk through the underworld.
F. A.
Amazing experience coming here. Well worth the price. Incredible variety of marine wildlife including sea turtles, sharks and penguins. A lot of reviews do say the penguins are the best bit but I have to say they don’t seem to have enough room and do look very distressed and miserable. Didn’t stay too long after this and that was the bit I was most looking forward to. Just something to consider if you are planning to go.
N.
We loved our trip to see life London! It's interesting, interactive and beautiful. We had such a wonderful time! I fully recommend families go here with their children as it's such a magical place.
Social distancing was adheard to and the staff ensured visitors were wearing their masks. We saw cleaning occur throughout our visit.
J. H.
Loved the layout of this aquarium, everything flows smoothly from one biome to the next. Online booking was easy to do, it was a little busy, mainly pushchairs left in inconvenient places.
A great experience, getting a lift down as if you were going under the ocean and all the tanks were made to fit the space. There are many opportunities to have your photo taken and the staff are friendly, they also gave us chocolate on entry 😍
The highlight of our visit was seeing the penguins in their cold environment and interacting with different things on the wall. I many have left my hand on the ice wall for a little too long, it was freezing! We also got to touch a starfish, a great place to take your kids also.
Overall amazing experience and highly recommend that you take an hour out of your day to visit this wonderful place. You won't regret it, we raided the gift shop after, many souvenirs to remember your visit 😁
M. M.
Nice place for kids. Had shark, penguin and jelly fish as prime attraction. Had Nemo/Dori and many other fishes as well
D. A.
My 7 yrs old loved it, so much better than the Shrek experience next door, honestly don't waste your time or money on Shrek. The Sea life was great, takes about 1 1/2-2 hours to go all the way around. We booked 3 activity option, London Eye, shrek and Sealife, wish we'd not picked Shrek, probably OK for 3-5 yrs olds but still for the price as a standard alone activity its terrible value. Get their in advance on time slot or definitely print off your tickets in advance, then go to the Left of what looks like the main entrance, as that the place to pay or collect tickets not the entrance, that's the small door to the left, knowing this will save you queuing twice.
P. L.
Wonderful aquarium, very well organised, decorated and clean. Toilets facilities along the way makes a lot easier to take a baby with you and the whole attraction is step free!
I'm giving 4 starts instead of 5 just because I think they should reserve specific days for school trips so we could avoid the crowd of kids blocking the ways and screaming, which make babies scared. Also, there are staff in some areas with a super loud microphone speaking about curiosities about the creatures around (which I think is nice to know, but the mic is far too loud and gave me a head ache).
A. M.
Great spot, lots of variety. Top tip is dont visit at peak hours, for example if you go on a Sunday go late like 3pm otherwise it's a little too busy
M. P.
We had a blast at the London aquarium! We visited December 29th, 2019, and I have to say that it was the most well-attended aquarium that I have ever been to - lots of tourists and lots of locals! I think this had to be an exception to normal attendance because it was between Christmas and New Years, but it did make for a festive atmosphere! We took the behind-the-scenes tour which is great for those who own an aquarium or are interested in the mechanics of aqua culture. The two guides there were brilliant and explained everything incredibly well. I have included some of the photos from the "back stage" tour, and since we were the only ones on the tour, it was like a private event. They showed us special fish not on display, typical food items fed to the fish, and humane aquarium policies, which showed that London's Sea Life Center was on the cutting edge and concerned about the welfare of their residents! It has elevators that easily fit a wheelchair and very helpful staff. The whole place was obviously designed to keep your attention and introduce you to each new exhibit in an innovative way that frequently allowed participation (like a fun car to sit in or bubble inside of a tank that kids can enjoy looking through). We were both glad we got to see this aquarium while in London and would certainly recommend it. We have been to the aquariums in Baltimore, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Paris as well and, although they are all so wonderful and different, the London one had fish (photo below) that I had never seen before. Excellent visit, but keep in mind the late-December crowds if you are visiting during that time of the year. Worth it!
L.
This was a fun day with little one. Lots to see and learn. The Sharks were impressive, and he was particularly fond of Penguin enclosure.
However, the price per adult (£30) per adult is quite high for the experience.
M. H.
Best experience so far, thank you SEA LIFE centre
R. G.
Two floors of tanks and some of the better views coming towards the end of the tanks and looking down on the sharks .also very busy and crowded
M. Q.
Great place. Felt a lot safer than I thought possible in an aquarium, good Covid safety measures. Got scared out of my wits walking over the shark tank on my way in (as one should! :D) and very much enjoyed my tour right up to the final jellyfish display. Good shop with quite irresistible soft toys and souvenirs at relatively affordable prices. Will definitely visit again.
G. S.
Educational for the kids who can read. Not as interactive as expected, only noticed 3 small interactive moments (feel a starfish - not convinced this isn't some sort of torture for these creatures, and an individual talking about rays). Set up was clean and fairly free flowing, some wow moments (turtle, rays, sharks). Disappointed that there wasn't a good presence of staff to guide you along or manage crowds at some points.
L. P. (.
Another amazing visit, with lots to see, we went on the behind the scenes tour this time and it was well worth the extra £8 per person. The staff were very friendly, explained the workings of the aquarium and the lives of all the animals there.
Amazing place to visit, so many animals to look at. There are guides around with lots of information about everything there.
Y. A. (.
It's really cool, but a lot smaller than expected, especially for the price
c. m.
Friendly and attentive staff. Such beautiful fish and sealife creatures
T.
I came for the rays and I was not disappointed 😄 there are sharks, rays, jellies, an incredibly huge turtle, even penguins~ it’s a really cool place, definitely recommend for all ages
g. g.
Great to visit during weekdays cos it's not busy and you can take your time without ppl pushing in
S. B.
Love this place but the buggy brigade ruined it for me this time. Loved the new jellyfish section as was being built last time and obvs the penguins are the best, little posers🐧
w. K.
Great day out and nice staff, being picky only thing I'd say is the glass at the penguin area could do with a clean!
R. W.
Really cute fishes and also not too crowded. The only thing is I did feel a bit sorry for the penguins as they don't have any natural light (that I could see)
S. B.
Really cracking day out, tiring as place is massive. But kids really enjoyed it.
G. P.
We done this as a big treat for my daughter who loved it Plenty to see in fish, sharks, creepy crawling insects etc also can't forget the penguins
Yip it's a great treat for the kids
Make sure you book online and prepay Most important is download your tickets and save them on phone or print them off so you dont get caught out. It's good to purchase a multi tickets for other attractions to save money as well Also give yourself plenty of time to get round you will need at least 2hrs even when quiet
S. O.
Excellent location, opposite Westminster Bridge. Staff are helpful and professional friendly. Relaxing experience.
B. C.
It was nice little tour inside an aquarium facility. Not shabby, but don't expect an Ocean Park, Osaka Aquarium, or Sea World type of experience and vibe either. Reserve your expectations if you've been to aquariums around the world.
A. G.
A really amazing and beautiful place. Wide variety of fishes and aquatic life. Plus, super cute penguins ❤️
M.
Really nice place, everyone should be there 😍
A. H.
Amazing lace. Best I've been to in the UK. Massuclve with loads of things to see and do.
M. Y. A.
Really amazing place to hang out In weekend.
J. D.
This place is fantastic for young and old.
There was sanitizers spread throughout and you could safely maintain your distance.
The staff were friendly. The many different creatures were great to see and educate at the same time.
I would definitely recommend a visit when in London.
M. W.
Ideal for young children, there is lots to see and very informative for children and adults
Easy to navigate
A. V. S.
Wonderful place. Children's must enjoy at the peak. Go with day travel card and get two for one pass. Penguins are the main attraction. Crowded in the weekend. You can always find different ticket offers on the websites.
Z. P.
Enjoyable for all ages, good facilities. Easy booking system. The penguins at the end though! I don't understand why they need to be there seems cruel to keep those creatures inside with no fresh air or natural light. Ruined the experience overall.
S. M.
Went during half term with my 2 kids. Amazing experience, variety of sea life with focus on conservation as well. I lost my son who ran qu8te far ahead - staff were friendly, incredibly efficient and worked together to find him very quickly - worth a visit!
D. H.
Lovely day out for the little one with lots to see and interact with.
b. a.
We had a great time diving into the sea life London aquarium which was well maintained, hats off to the wonderful team.
We were so amazed seeing several species.
Worth visiting!!!
G. F.
Lots of interesting stuff to look at. Bigger than it looks on the outside.
S. O.
Took school group it was quiet so ideal. Well presented, informative, WOW factor for kids. School price good.
A. B.
Great attraction,
Went with a 4 y.o he had a great time.
Could be a bit more interactive.
Loved seeing all the different fish species.
Sharks, Nemo 😃, crabs and many more the highlight for me were the penguins which was wonderful to see swim run and even pose to the camera.
Kids would love it and it is a good way to spend 3 hours.
T. M. (.
Visited SeaLife today and can confirm its a great place to go with the family. Great selection of species and well thought through layout. Visit was really enhanced by Pete who really went the extra mile with our young daughter - great customer service!
C. C.
It was our first visit here and it was amazing, the best Sea Life Centre we have been too. It was over 2 floors and took us an hour and 40 mins to walk around (we could have spent longer but the children got tired). It was very busy so we had to wait at times to see certain aquariums. There were a couple of sets of toilets there which were handy.
M. T.
A kids heaven & an easy couple of hours for the parents who need some easy entertainment. Centre of London next to the millennium wheel opposite the houses of parliament/BIG Ben. Next door is the Shrek Adventure walkthrough which could easily compliment a good family day out.
G. B.
It's a very nice place to spend a few hours with friends and family. The tour will take almost 2 hours, so is better don't go at the last time. I went there at 5 pm and unfortunately penguins were already sleeping. I will get back for sure to see them awake again!
S. A.
It's a good place for a day out with young kids (who can understand baby 🦈). Our kid though he enjoyed it initially after some time he started getting bored. May be small play area inside would make toddler of age 2 to 3 makes more exciting...
J. B.
Great place to visit. We spent around a hour and a half, if going remember to check Kellogg's to see if they have and parent go free offers on

Me and my partner went here today and had a really good time, the only thing that upset our visit was a very larger group of loud, rude and pushy school teens who's teachers couldn't control them. That's the pros and cons of going on a weekday, it's usually quiet but you get school groups. Which is obviously no fault of sea life themselves.
The layout can be a little confusing at times, you often find yourself having to look where other people are going to know where you're meant to go! But we enjoyed seeing all the fish and animals, you can take your time and the lighting makes it a fairly relaxed environment.

Really good day out, especially if it’s raining, like it was when we went. A tad expensive tho but you can find some deals on line if your lucky. Great fun for kids took my nephew for his birthday a family day out . He loved every minute of it. So much to see and has really good lay out. Great for adults too I learnt a lot about sea life.

I visited shortly after the venue was opened with lightened lockdown rules.
The staff were helpful and friendly, surfaces cleaned frequently.
I would have expected more information on display, but I tend to usually just use the wifi to read into information later by myself.
For the price, I would say it is fairly expenssive, but the two main tanks (Whale skeleton replica and Shark Tank) along with the Jellyfish tank were great to see!.

Amazing place... my daughter and i absolutely loved it. Its not cheap but it is stunning. Simply so many different creatures. The turtles were the outstanding favourites and the sharks. Very interactive for the children and adults. You should consider booking as the queues can get very very very long.. not good on a hot day. Absolutely worth a visit

Brilliant and fun day out for all ages. Well worth the money for a ticket. Around 2 hours of multiple different sea creatures with a variety of different styles of tanks and interactive information boards. The jelly fish area and the shark tank were a particular favourite, just beautiful.

A great place to enjoy a great experience of the sea world. I was surprised by the variety of different species; they built it pretty fresh and exciting.
The prices are not too high (check the website for current rates).
The route is about 1.5 hours.
I'll suggest not to go if it's too full, as the passes are pretty narrow.
The place if fit to kids of all ages.
The structure is fit to disable
Location is excellent, as you can continue after your trip on the West Bank.
Enjoy your experience :)

absolutely shocked at the price for family of 4 to visit £114 does not include any activities inside the aquarium like the vr which should be included and the souvenir shop was ridiculous lovely stuff toys and all but need to remortgage my house no wow factor at all

Well compared to Singapore it's small. But my baby daughter loved it. Very kid friendly I must say. Good collection of sea creatures. Not a big variety as I would've liked but it was good. With the limited area they have done a fabulous wonder. Visit this place. It's worth your time.

We Loved visiting this Sealife today. This was our first time at this one and it really did not disappoint!! There were so many different areas to look at and we had so much fun 🥰🐠🦈🦀🐡 the penguins were just adorable and it was so nice to watch them relaxing. We will definitely come and visit next time we are in London again. 🐧

Love this place. Bring my daughter every year. It's well laid out, reasonably priced for what's available and well managed. Very educational and fun for kids while still having enough to keep the adults entertained. Has the usual gift shop trap at the end of the journey but does come reasonably priced compared to others. Animals are well maintained, clean and fed well with attention to how they would feed naturally. You can watch this if you time it right and its good fun. Has a touch pool and educational staff too so kids learn but think their just doing something amazing. I dare you to not say 'wow' at least once!

Definitely worth going to see! A crowd of hundreds, took minutes to get inside and it dispersed so quickly we were never in a throng at all once we got inside, very well managed. The tour was great, and the tanks converted from the old stone tunnels were very interesting! The number of views of the main shark tank with the Easter Island Head is very clever, seeing it from every possible angle. The Amazon rainforest was an unexpected surprise and the penguin enclosure was great. Definitely would recommend buying the anytime express ticket to visit at your leisure rather than being tied to a time slot, just make sure you get a ticket of some sort as this is definitely a trip highlight.

We visited yesterday and enjoyed seeing all the big fish that We have never seen before. The animations were good too, as was the virtual reality experience. There is so much to see here and an absolute delight in comparison to other sea life centres we have visited. Definitely worth a visit.

The sea life centre was so much fun! I went with my boyfriend and it was our first time visiting the sea life centre in london whilst on our trip here. We both was not expecting the sea life centre to be that big with lots of fun and fascinating creatures. Our favourite part was the Arctic part which involved lots of penguins and we even witnessed them getting fed with fish. I would definitely visit the sea life again!

Very nice experience :) many beautiful water creatures to see. We spent there about 1.5 h and didn't feel bored at all. It also wasn't too busy even though it was weekend.

Great day out for the family even with very young ones who can still enjoy the fish and sharks in the large Acquarium. For those a bit older, there are some more educational facts. And for those adults who want 5 minutes of fun, there is the VR swimming with sharks which too is great!

Amazing place, staff have a lot of knowledge and are extremely helpful. Well-managed covid timings and the groups aren't to large.

Awesome, it was a great experience, I love underwater habitats but this aquarium is one of the best so far. You will find a big variety of interesting spices of fish some of them are really funny and is so relaxing to watch them all, from my opinion the most interesting thing was to touch the starfish I always wandered about them texture, was a really nice day, I hope you will enjoy it.
