This is an absolutely amazing place to relax and pamper yourself. The staff were nice and helpful. I was impressed at how clean and neat the whole place looked - I’m a bit germaphobic but I wasn’t worried at all. The classic massage was really effective, and the food and drinks were delicious and not too expensive. For any Chinese ladies reading this, I’d recommend bringing a swimsuit!

As far as Banya in London goes, The Bath House is by far the best that I have found. The facilities dance the line between luxury and functionality flawlessly, and are always clean and tidy. The food and drinks are authentic and delicious and have clearly been well considered to compliment the intensive bathing experience that is the Banya. Owner Alexander is incredibly welcoming and was happy to talk to my partner and I, answering all of our questions about Russian bath houses and Banya culture in general. The staff are always friendly and very attentive. I'd strongly recommend this place to anybody who has a curious spirit and wants to try something that your mind-body-soul will no doubt be thankful for!

I loved it. I had no idea what a parenie involved, and still don’t really since I had wet leaves over my eyes (tip: you can ask for fresh ones if you feel too hot), but it felt and smelled wonderful and I’ll be doing it again. Plus excellent massage from an atypically smiley Russian lady and a very soothing sauna with bucket-simulating cold showers. I came out of those quite happy just sitting, with no desire to read or look at my phone - it’s low-effort, rapid-returns Buddhism.

There are a lot of reasons to visit London but sweating a good sweat at the Russian Bath House is at the top of my list. I have been to a lot of Russian banya's in Russia and abroad and this one is top notch. It's clean, well run, and yes, the hot rooms are hot and produce the special "light steam" that makes one bath house better than another. If you are looking for a perfect sweat, this is the place to go.

Absolutely loved it - cycling between the heat of the sauna and cold water was intense but was blissful afterwards. The Parenie treatment was relaxing despite the the fact that you're essentially being beaten with leaves. The food in the bar was delicious.

Excellent treat to enjoy in the heart of London. The Main hot Banya room is spacious and has great heat and lush steam. Nothing like any dry hot box at a normal gym. Great bucket showers and a cold plunge pool for cool downs the leave you feeling euphoric. For the full experience of all senses, don’t miss out on the “parenie” treatment done by a trained bath master (Banshik) with leafy twigs. It was awesome. I had the pleasure tried out the divine massage. Also check out the Himalayan pink salt room for full relaxation. The cosy restaurant is well stocked with traditional Russian food & drink. Recommend to have a drink of Kvas (a fermented beverage made from rye bread) during breaks in between rounds. I adore the interior of the space. Walking down the spa area, you will be welcomed by turquoise glass block wall with steam rooms on one site. The rest of the walls are cladded with matching colour glazed tiles giving a clean and hygienic feel. The gorgeous figurative mosaic walls form the backdrops of the cold plunge and cold bucket shower wall. The Main Banya room is built with premium quality solid wood with ornate tiled stove. The VIP room is available for your special occasions with all services to suit your need. After my visit, I felt fully rejuvenated, nourished and all worries washed away! I highly recommend this magical place and I will certainly go back again.

Upon entering off the street, instantly welcomed into a clean, warm and bright reception area. You're kindly asked to fill in a H&S disclaimer and then given your locker and charge wrist band, you can use this for when you're in the bar area to have a drink or food and pay later, upon leaving.. I was lucky to be using the banya with a regular from Russia who kindly took me down and showed me around. Everywhere looked very clean and the changing room although fairly small, well kitted out and lockers of a good size. Your wrist band will secure the locker just pick any empty one. I loved the decor or the Banja, modern styling, but with a very authentic Russian feeling to it. Upon entry you're provided a towel and sheet to use in the Banya, either for sitting on or for lying on. The Banya is suitably hot and pouring of water on the stones is available to get that hit of steam. Not to forget the cooling down facilities; a very fancy chain operated water fall shower, made to look like a bucket shower, but far better. If you prefer full immersion then just head across to the plunge pool, which is suitably cold. So now to relax for a while until you do it over again, where better than heading to the bar. There is quite a comprehensive menu for bites and drinks, hot and cold, alcohol and non, traditional food and drinks as you would expect, I didn't get round to trying the food, but I loved a pint of the Wheat beer available in draught. Next time I visit I will definitely try some of the food! There are treatments available all bookable and packages to suit your needs, but I just went for a Banya session on this occasion, which is often enough for me. Considering the very convenient location, price and service, I'd highly recommend a visit here.

The banya (sauna) has an excellent temperature and the cold water bucket treatment afterwards is delightful. Unfortunately we are not impressed. Atmosphere is not relaxing. No swimming pool, just 1 sauna. On arrival you get 1 sheet and 1 towel. If you wish to change your wet towel for dry one you have to pay £2,5 extra. Robe and slippers are also for additional charge. For £140 service could be much better. But we like Russian food and "parenie"!

Banya looks very deceiving (in a good way) from the outside in that you don’t know what to expect from it as you only see a set of doors and a house sign on it. Once you go through black wooden doors, you immediately get mesmerised by invigorating smell of warm forest and wooden notes. Banya is beautifully decorated inside and has an authentic “Russian feel” to it, you can even find birch trees inside the restaurant making the experience even more warm, welcome and very home-like especially for those who might feel a little home sick. As you go down to the Banya area, the fragrance intensifies. It instantly relaxes you and transports you away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. You are shown around the area and can either immerse into your Banya experience straight away or relax in the restaurant. You can also choose to opt in for the Parenie ritual where you rest your head on a chilled venik, which emits the most wonderful fragrance and your are further massaged and relaxed with veniks made of birch and oak. The ritual is finished by having a cold bucket poured over you and a quick plunge into a pool of cold water. After the Parenie ritual, you can further relax in the restaurant and enjoy an excellent selection of Russian food and drinks. The restaurant offers freshly prepared meals and home made drinks. The food is truly delicious and the home made drinks (such as Kvas and Kompot) will remind you of your mum’s cooking. I was really impressed with my visit and It’s a very warm and welcoming environment throughout where you can also book several different spa treatments to take your experience to a whole new level. I would highly recommend visiting Banya for a warm welcome and even warmer temperatures to battle your winter blues!

I had an amazing first visit and banya experience at the The Bath House. Everyone I met from the receptionists, the therapists to the lounge manager were welcoming, most courteous and a pleasure to converse with. I made great use of the sauna. I enjoyed both a Parenie Ritual and a Soap Massage. Both treatments left me feeling great. I can’t describe them better than as detailed on the website and felt the benefits as expected, no question. My time there drifted by so wonderfully. I left feeling quite rejuvenated. The premises are kept extraordinarily clean, spotless. And clearly the space has been very thoughtfully designed. The attractive decor makes it a very pleasant place to spend time in. I also had the opportunity make use of the Cool Room, another private place, after my Parenie Ritual. Fabulous decor, I felt as if I was actually in Russia, the mosaics are truly fabulous, the silver birch tree trunk walls are wonderful and the colours are calming Every detail has been thought of from the little felt hats, the gorgeous plunge pool to the beautiful wooden bucket showers means your experience starts the minute you enter. The smell is divine, it is the smell of the heated wood, birch and oak leaves and the fresh grasses. Wood is naturally anti bacterial and just breathing in the air is healing. The piece de la resistance is the fire in the sauna it is made of the most beautiful tiles and is reminiscent of an old bread oven. I had the clay wrap and will definitely have it again, the food was delicious - all hand cooked with nothing processed, can’t wait to go back I slept like a baby and feel revitalised today possibly the best sauna and all round experience I have had in a very long time. It’s a unique and special place.

What a great place! What an experience! My husband and I went there after a hard working week and were very tired and stressed when we arrived. Three hours in the Bath House and we were happy, very well rested and full of positive emotions. Staff couldn't be any nicer even if they tried, the facilities are very modern and immaculately clean, sauna is big and nice, treatments are top quality, restaurant spoils you with a great selection of Eastern European delicacies! This is not your ordinary sauna...A proper russian Banya in the centre of london, what a treat! Not the cheapest of places, have to admit, but for a special occasion definitely worth it. The actual steam room is both hot and mild. Smells like the Banyas of my childhood. (Such beautiful ceramic design as well!). The super cold pool is so much fun. The food is actually really nice (if a bit heavy for the sauna, but hey ho, you can get up an appetite after all the sweat). But the most memorable thing is the pareniye with veniki. The ancient Slavic sauna treatment of using birch twigs with leaves all over your body to create different kinds of heat. Proper magic. I felt like being in a hut of a russian shaman. No pain at all, but so relaxing and rejuvenating.

Every day I look at your website in the hope you are opening soon! I had an unforgettable experience a couple of months ago with my designer friend who actually designed the spa. I love the interior design, it has a Russian exotic atmosphere, amazing mosaics and the traditional stove is such a unique future! I felt reduvanated after the full body scrub treatment. Furthermore, the staff was very helpful and we had delicious traditional food like borsh and herbal tea.

Best banya in London. Nice sauna, you can adjust. Can even use vennik for self serve. Mans days are full of consistent customers. Restaurant have all you need for banya. Starting from tea with honey, up to non-alcoholik beer from Russia with shrimps. Towels, sheets, slippers are included. Safety closet, locked with the key provided for your stuff. Cold shower, "kupel", and bucket of cold water you can find, among the normal showers with the soap dispencers. Main thing - sauna. it has stones heated electrically. You can drop a chunk of water to get some hot air. It's wide enough for an average company. Have multiple levels for those who want more, or less steam. Definitely recommend. You won't find better in London. S legkim parom!

Maybe the best spa experience in London. A ritual of hot and cold temperature treatments in a beautiful, traditionally decorated environment, right across from Buckingham palace. I call this whole thing it the toxins exorcism as you end up leaving the Bath House feeling like you've never been cleaner before, while also feeling a state of euphoria from the absolute relaxation one gets here. We went to the Bath House on a couples night. My wife had a parenie and still felt the muscle relaxation the following day. I tried a honey and salt scrub - weird and wonderful. After the treatments and some more steaming we lay peacefully on a bed of aromatic hay, which is very Russian apparently. There's a great dining area where you can rest in a towel with a pot of tea. We enjoyed some pickled veg, borscht and Siberian meat dumplings with German beer and a vodka to follow. We left feeling harmonious and happy and can recommend it highly.

I heard about The Russian Banya from a very good friend but being a total newbie to anything "Banya" wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Regardless, I pre-booked a massage and parnie several months before the grande opening to show my support. The grande opening came and went and I struggled to actually schedule the time to visit. That was until I found myself on a return trip to London from New York with an afternoon to spare in London before a dinner at 7pm. Hopeful as ever, I had tried to sleep for a few hours following my flight but only dozed so was going in to this with some serious jet lag to shift. I loved the welcome I received when I arrived. I was nervous but the lady on reception was obviously familair with this and she totally put me at ease which really helped me relax and begin to unwind. I was then shown where to change and provided with a secure locker for my posessions, a towel, gown and comfortable disposable slippers before being led down in to the Banya itself, which was luxurious. On the outside, The Russuan Banja is an end of terrace, likely mid-to-late 19th Century building. There was obviously no expense spared during the original construction and it looks like The Russian Banya worked hard to maintain this feeling of luxury during the refurbishment. Bravo to them for this eye on the detail - it really shows. Something I really appreciated was the way the team handed me across to each other. I was literally handed by the lady that welcomed me in, to a lady who then made me some herbal tea and sat me down to start unwinding. There was someone already at the table behind me, we were both alone. It struck me as I drank my tea that Banya, whilst probably designed as a social past time is also a bit like meditation and can be experienced alone, which I like and am comfortable with. I was then handed over to a lady for my Classic Russian Massage and then on to a chap who led me through my Parenie Ritual including a session in the steam room where he used birch leaves to hold the hot steam in, around me. I remember feeling, at that moment in the steam room with the birch leaves on my back, my jet lag leaving and my ability to relax and sleep like a normal human return. I was suddenly very tired however he held my arm and walked me straight in to a cold buckert shower that brought me back around, quickly. After my Parenie Ritual was over I was free to stay longer and could well have done another hour (or two) hopping between the Bucket Shower and dip pool but needed to get to my dinner. All in all, I loved my experience at The Russian Banya and would highly recommend it.

Avoid visiting on the weekends - the staff allows rowdy companies to be very loud in the cafe. The space itself lacks sound insulation and is louder than a pub on a Saturday night. Having paid £100 each we had a headache within 20 minutes of our visit. When we complained at the reception we were told that it was not only a place for relaxation but also a restaurant (!) No apology was offered. Instead we were told that if we wanted to relax we needed to book VIP room for £600. Apart from this the rest is good - the staff who actually does parenye were very professional.

However, I can now confirm that I had one of the best experiences of my life in this recently opened Russian Spa. The atmosphere, double parenie and amazing location make this place a must visit!

Санитайзеры расставлены по углам, хотя зачам они в бане не представляю :)) Парилка большая, места много, Печь красивая, температура когда я пришёл была 75-80, но по градуснику было видно что можно разогнать четь не вдвое больше. Душ хороший, с вёдрами холодной воды (кому надо) и купель холодная на месте, очень знатно можно окунуться после парилки. Банщики профессионалы. Пропарили меня хорошими вениками (берёза + эвкалипт) за 15 минут перезагрузили мой организм от и до, проводили потом до купели, потому что ноги мои еле шли, после такого расслабления. зона отдыха/восстановления с кафе приятная, в хорошем "советском" стиле , с плакатами на стенах. Меню скромное, но ведь не в ресторан на обед пришли, Всё что надо есть. Вода, чай, квас, пиво и тд. Супы, основные блюда, десерт, алкоголь. Цены для Лондона весьма приемлемые, хотя кому то могут показаться высокими. Комплексы услуг подобраны хорошо, чувствуется что все сделано с русской душой. Напоминает Московские Сандуны. Банщики очень профессиональные и замечательные ребята. Из спа процедур пробовала массаж и обёртывание. Все чудесно. Обёртывание водорослями это такое удовольствие и тотальное расслабление! А аромат уносит на морское побережье тёплых стран. Я даже уснула на 15 минут. И кожа после - бархат! На время бани вам также любезно предоставляется столик в кафе, где можно выпить травяного чая с гречишным медом и насладиться блюдами русской кухни. Очень рекомендую, всё в этой бане на высшем уровне! И трёх часов сеанса мало, не хочется уходить.
