Reviews of Up at The O2

Had a really good time. Everything was provided for us including shoes. Full safety brief provided. My only criticisms are, it's not that cheap to do and you're not on the viewing platform at the top for very long. The views are amazing and there are several plaques with information on around the platform but there wasn't time to read them before another group came up and effectively forced us to go back down. Photo packs at the end are also extremely expensive.

Really enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly and helpful and we all enjoyed it. Great views on a clear day. Not sure what it would be like if it was raining but would be more of an adventure!
C. a.
I think the staff member I had was the best part! She was so happy and energetic, it made me enjoy it. I can’t remember her name but she needs a raise or something because she is great at her job! She went through all the safety tips and made me feel at ease. If you are thinking about doing it, you need to do it! How many people have climbed the O2?
R. J.
Really enjoyed this walk. It last 90 minutes from start to finish so was well worth it.
I'm really scared of heights but I was fine. The worst bit is coming down but just don't look at the bottom and you'll be fine.
T. C.
A great experience, staff were friendly and helpful with clean toilets.
Order your champers in advance and toast the fantastic view!
Pictures quite expensive at £25-30 but you do get quite a few so not to bad value on balance.
Everything (Harness etc) was clean and tidy.
I wouldn't want to do this on a rainy day but with the sun we had wonderful!

We went in 2021 July time. It was a great experience, the instructor that took us up was funny and friendly. All laughs and good atmosphere although we did do it on a very wet day it was still such a good time.
R. C.
I’ve been on weekends to London lots of times but this is one of the best activities by far! Our guide was Max from Canada and she made us laugh the whole way. We went for a sunset climb and although it was cloudy it was still a great time. Would love to go again but maybe next time at night! The climb isn’t very exerting and you do go quite slow although it can be steep at points. The photo of the slope is right at the end when you have to walk backwards for the last little bit. I think I’d have even enjoyed myself if it was raining!

Rebecca was an AMAZING host. Full of knowledge and very helpful. Not to mention an amazing photographer ( using my phone) definitely will do that again and a day I shall not forget. The whole team from checking in to the shop on the way out are all fab. Very happy and exceeded all expectations! We will be back

What an awesome experience.. if you’re doing a tour of London include this because it’s is just great fun and the views are amazing. We added the bubbles which I have to say are definitely worth it. Our guide was great and super knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely 5 stars and would definitely recommend!
S. C.
Great experience to walk over the roof on almost a bouncy walkway. Excellent guide who pointed out lots of landmarks throughout the walk. An hour and a half whizzed by. Worth doing.
B. S.
Incredible experience, our guide Duncan was brilliant; really made the experience great fun, gave us some facts about the 02 stadium as well. Well worth the view at sunset!!
H. Y. W. Y. H.
Excellent experience even if you're scared of heights like myself and my friend. We celebrated a special birthday with a celebrational climb. Elle and Amy were amazing coordinators and made the climb easier. I would definitely recommend and a fantastic memory made. Thank you...
C. k.
This is a one time experience. The climbing was very fun and I didn't expect the person guiding us to give us a mini visual tour whilst climbing up and pointing out different buildings of london and the history behind it and etc. It was very informative and I must say, I came back with some information about London I didn't know!
Definitely worth trying out. Its very steep at the beggining but then it gets easier. Please understand that this is not climbing like go ape, this is basically climbing up a steep roof and is very quick. It's just fun that's all it is.
When you do get to the top, you end up spending max 5 min there and then it's time to go back down which was a little bit disappointing as I did want a little bit more time taking in the view but overall good experience, worth a go.
P. B.
Our guide (her name is Blessing), made the experience even more fun with her humour. It was a fun experience and you get to see the landmarks around London the history behind areas and buildings, it was very interesting. Great views to see and take in. Definitely would recommend.
L. C.
An incredible experience! As someone who usually crumbles at the thought of this sort of thing, I am so glad we did it! We were very lucky to get last minute tickets so make sure you book your slot in advance. If Boris is your guide, you are in for a treat with some fun facts at the summit. My favourite thing we did on our trip to London! Champagne at the top was a great addition too!
S. E.
Birthday treat for me, my daughter and my mum and although my mum didn’t make it past the entrance steps 🙈.. me and my daughter went for the climb!.. Nathan our guide helped every step of the way, we felt safe and enjoyed the experience !
G. C.
Good experience. Staff members are incredibly energetic. Really fun
K. S.
Completed the climb twice - both times it was an incredible experience! Beautiful views of London and so much fun climbing up the O2! Really great place for the team building event too, plus definitely a must do while in London!
N. A.
A very good experience. First you watch a safety video, that tells you information about the 02 you probably didn't know! (like it is 52m high as it represents 52 weeks of the year)
Then get climbing shoes and harness. You take your shoes and bags etc off and put it all into a box, which is kept safe for you and you get your items back at the end. Then your climber guide shows you how to put a harness on before checking its safe and off you go up to the starting point ready to go. Photos are taking before you start your climb.
The climb is a great experience. I was first in our group and got up pretty easily. It really was great climbing the 02. Our climber also gave us some information about buildings we could see at each stopping point, so we learnt a bit about London whilst enjoying the view.
When we got to the top, some people had drinks. We took photos. Enjoyed the view. We must have been at the top for at least 20 minutes. We then went down, which didn't take long and again I led the group.
Photo again at the end, before going into a room to take off the harness and boots and have your own items returned.
Photos at the end are shown and then obviously you buy if you want to. We didn't as there wasn't much choice of what you could do. £15 for a magnet and keyring with the same photo on seemed pointless. Would have been better if the keyring and magnet would have 2 different photos but never mind.
A very good experience with some learning along the way.
V. J.
Well worth the experience. Something different to do, and a unique way to see some of London's views. The climb was easy and overall it was a fun activity, 90 mins well spent would recommend.
F. T.
Really enjoyable climb up, and the perfect weather really made it. Friendly staff and the views were spectacular.

Yesterday, 4 August 2021 at 13:30, we started on the climb at ‘Up at The O2’. Well I do not like heights but braved it, along with my wife, daughter (whose 40th Birthday it was), son-in-law and grandchildren.
It wasn’t wonderfully easy for me going up or down but it was certainly worth doing. Our guide, Sarah, made the whole experience, from start to finish, as safe and as enjoyable as it could possibly be.
From our initial briefing through checking on us every step of the way and pointing out the sights and landmarks as we climbed, Sarah was Ace!
If you are in London with a couple of hours to spare and looking for an exhilarating experience, go for it!

Absolutely amazing experience and beautiful views from the top, descending is a little steep towards the end so be sure to be careful
N. S.
The Irish tour guide was super friendly, funny and energetic. Charing £8 for a glass of champagne and £15 for a photo was a bit of a rip off. But apart from that it was a great experience with some lovely views
K. S.
Had a great day out! This was actually a couple of years ago and I am late posting, wanted to make time to do it justice and things got busy. Our guide Kenan was excellent and the whole team were lovely. My boy was 13 and hard to find things he will do with me but he loved this and even he said he would do it again. Fingers crossed the wind hasn't damaged it too much. See you again o2 :)
T. C.
Brilliant guide, great day out, can't recommend enough!
C. B.
Great experience! The guides were amazing and the views outstanding. Highly recommended
R. V.
Fantastic experience! Arrived at “Base Camp” 15 mins before ascent time, where the staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a lovely enthusiasm which made it more exciting. Once into the shoes and climbing harness you start the “climb”. The very first and last parts are steep but not difficult, I am in recovery from a badly smashed ankle and I managed it ok. Ozzy our guide was amazing, helping a lady who had a panic about the height etc, he helped her every inch of the way and she would not have done it without him. The views from the top of the O2 were amazing, with plenty of time for photos and sightseeing. I would definitely recommend the experience!
D. M.
This is a Must do in London . What a great experience . Staff were great especially our guide Rebekka . The views are some of the best you will see in London . Looking up at it from the ground really does not reflect how brilliant this is .
s. b.
It was a fun experience and nice views of the Thames. It wasn’t too challenging if you’re reasonably fit and it felt safe. You can take pictures from the top, but not while walking up. Unfortunately some of London’s landmarks are blocked by other towers of flats. Our guide Emily was very personable and informative with tidbits about the building and the city.
Visit Date: June 19, 2021

A really interesting way to get a different view of London! We went up at sunset and got some amazing views of the skylines all around the o2. The introduction was reasonably quick and it didn't seem like we were waiting around too long before starting the climb. Walking shoes and harnesses were provided, and also extra layers were available for anyone who hadn't come prepared for the chilly wind on the roof!
The climb was not too arduous, but probably not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. The pace was also fairly relaxed. We had a decent amount of time on the viewing platform, and plenty of opportunity for photos and to read the information provided.
Our guide, Jack, was extremely entertaining and informative, and his relaxed and dry humour really made it a fun experience.
c.
Such an Awesome experience!
We went up just after the twilight session and we still caught some of the sunset below the cityscape.
Our Guide Matt was truly a credit. Very funny and very knowledgable about both the o2 and the surrounding city landmarks. Very much recommend visiting and giving it a climb😃👍🏻
a. w.
Really good experience. Very well organised and plenty to eat, drink and shop on site. Highly recommend.
P. M.
Views were fantastic, would have been better on a sunny day but still a great experience and Emily was a wonderful host.
Z. B.
I was expecting a more intense climb up to the top, but was actually surprised to find that the last portion descending the structure was the most difficult! Make sure to bring gloves- especially on a wet and foggy day that we chose to go on. Sam was a great guide and was super helpful with all equipment inquiries.
T. B.
Enjoyed the experience. Lousy weather but it's Britain. Just lucky we got up when we did. The weekend after it closed cos of damage!! Having to pay extra for a drink is ott! Rip off like the shard. For what it is, considered a bit overpriced and no photos at the top! Again pay more!
j. m.
Even though the weather was not great we had a fantastic walk very recommended 👌
g. u.
I was sceptical of this at first and thought it would be overpriced and a waste of money. I enjoyed it,found the "tour guide" Joey friendly and very understanding especially supporting the person that was with me that suffers from Vertigo. It's just a shame that the O2 is built where it is as it's not the greatest views of London but for the money I would say it's a good way to spend a couple of hours!
S. B.
It was a lovely experience and the fact that it was on offer was even better I would highly recommend. I need to do a day time climb
M. H.
Was a great experience as expected good panoramic views across London. Staff very friendly and patient if your on the slower side. Would definitely recommend.
L. G. P.
Great way to enjoy some fresh air and burn some calories climbing. We visited as a party of 9 last summer and had a fantastic time. Our party ranged from 11-81 so pretty wide but we all handled it fine & had plenty of time to take a breather if needed
As expected a short safety briefing at the beginning but its all fairly simple and it was a great way to enjoy the day
Z. A.
An amazing experience. A good fun activity with friends to see the view of the London city from the O2 up at the top. You need to wear the full body harness which is connected with the fall arrestor and you have to walk on the plastic/rubber polyester types sheet and then you can see the River, city view, sun sets and much more. If you like adventure then it’s a must do thing in london.
You can book ticket online or you need to go there and wait in the queue to book the ticket. The ticket costs around 30-35£. Mobile phones are not allowed to be used. And their own staff will take pictures and you need to pay them to get the pictures which is a sad part
s. k.
Excellent experience, brilliant views , great tour guide .
N. H.
Fantastic fun, good views and a wonderful, knowledgeable guide in Max, thank you
R. B.
What an amazing experience, love to do it again & had an amazing Guide
P. M.
Well organised, good experience. The walkway is like trampoline material as you go up, it has ribbing on the lowers sections and quite steep at the start so a good leg workout. Much flatter at the top, really good view with time to take photos
H.
Absolutely fantastic! The guide was so friendly and chatted to everyone on the walk. Would highly recommend to anyone 😊
R. M.
Walked over the o2 with my daughter and grandson - hes 12. Great day, great guide. Walking up and over was easy than i thought - we even had a 82 yr old man in front of us ! Great experience and views - would reccommend and i would do it again ! If u can do it !
S. H.
The team at Up at the O2 were great. They explained everything thoroughly, they didn't rush you at any point. During the climb the instructor regularly checked on everyone which made me feel safe. One thing to be aware of, is that the actual material you walk on is like a trampoline but strictly no bouncing. At the top, we were given enough time to look around, take photos and videos.
D. B.
If anybody is thinking out doing this climb DO IT. We'll worth the money and the guides are brill. We had Boris and Devon who were friendly helpful and great
G. B.
Enjoyable hour at this experience. The rain held off and we enjoyed the climb and the view.
Very well organized, good safety regime and friendly staff. Perhaps a little too regimented as there is no freedom to go at your own pace.
Although you can see a long way, it is all in East and South London...the famous sights of the centre are largely blocked by other tall buildings. Personally I would have also liked more time at the top.
M.
It's a fun exercises and nice view of canary wharf from the top. The guide was friendly and helpful. Good safety features. It's a fairly easy climb in my opinion. They give shoes and suits and safety ropes. You just need to arrive 5 minutes before your booking time.
M. B.
Great experience.... Took my grandson and he gave it 11/10! Guide was great felt very safe with him.
I. A.
We did the sunset climb. Great experience. My son and I loved it! Nathan was a great guide too and really made it special for my son. Thanks!
o. o.
Lovely view, quite memorable. Tour guide was fantastic too.
S. G.
Amazing experience and would definitely recommend going up over the 02 arena. Night or day the views fantastic. Great staff and very helpful.
C. E.
A group of 4 of us visited this attraction at the O2. We got the climb and dine experience and upgraded to get a glass of champagne each at the top. The climb itself is great fun and the tour guide stopped us at various points on the way up and down to point out different sights of London. We also got to stop at the top for pictures. The tour guide was really nice and was willing to take group pictures at the top. She even got everyone to sing a chorus of Happy Birthday for one of our party. All in all, an excellent experience and one which I would do again.
l.
I came here today and climbed the o2. The guide who we were with (Megan) was very nice and encouraging and made the experience really fun and interesting. The hike itself was really fun and the view at the top was absolutely incredible. I felt very secure hiking and enjoyed the whole experience.
A. D.
Did this for my friends birthday and it was so much fun. Probably a little expensive for just walking up the O2 but it was something a bit different to do and on a sunny day you get an amazing view. Also the staff are really friendly and helpful as well which really adds to the experience. Would definitely add it to the list for someone wanting to do something touristic in London and get some nice pictures while they were at it.
A. R.
Weather wasn't great! My knees gave me bit of trouble so those two things impacted my experience, but the guide was amazing, funny lad! Really really enjoyed the banter! Views from top are amazing but do go on a clear day, I won't do it again but that's because of my bad knees, please do try it, nice experience.
D. C.
Great fun, but it is hard work especially on the first and last sections which are quite steep. Views from the top are well worth the effort although there are some new buildings going up that starting to block the views across the river Good safety briefing and clear instructions on the use of the equipment.
H. T. L.
Excellent experience and my sister and I being both a little phobic of heights still felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You get suits or jackets and you also are attached to the line so no falls. Small groups every 30 minutes. A very clear day and the views where fantastic and afterwards you can buy photo/ t shirts etc
J. G.
Great sun-set climb. Duncan was informative and fun - even when it came to the dreaded Health & Safety brief.
g. b.
The process before the climb was quick and easy. Most of the enjoyment taken out of the experience was due to our tour guide, Max. His personality and charisma made the climb! Me and my family really enjoyed it and we recommend the climb to other visitors.
D. S.
Had the most amazing day! Fran our guide was fantastic and made the day whole much better 🤗🤗🥂
L. W.
Want something different to do in London then the O2 walk is there for you. Good experience and nice view on a sunny day can see for miles. If scared of heights though the way down can be a little daunting. 2 tours guides on the day were very supportive and very passionate so made it enjoyable.
H. L.
Done this today with my autistic 9 year old son and his godfather. Check in was a little crowded but managable. Kitting up with the safety gear was very easy and the walk up to the top was enjoyable and with great views. The walk down was just as good as the walk up. A little exercise with great views
A. C.
Amazing thing to do with excellent views. Bit overpriced though
E.
Not normally great with heights but thought why not try it with a friend, it was really enjoyable and the views were amazing, we also had a really nice guide and would happily do it again.
S. H.
We had the lovely pleasure of having Sam as our guide. We were really nervous but the minute we stepped onto the pathway, all of that was gone. We felt at ease and safe with him.
All round lovely day and my god, what an experience!!!!
Thanks Sam, for the guide and the brilliant photo quality. (And the dribble of water)
C. W.
We walked the O2 on Thursday 26th August our guards were Sarah and Max and they were brilliant. The experience is a must do if visiting London. The knowledge of the Sarah & Max pointing out the history of London & Greenwich area was very interesting with everyday being a learning day.
The actual walk is a little steep at first but you soon adjust to the feeling of walking up hill on a giant trampoline. Amazing experience.
A. S.
Booked this as a surprise for my husband for his 50th birthday. This sort of thing is my worse nightmare as I don’t like nights but Jack our guide put any fears I had to bed and was very supportive especially on the decent which is quite steep ! A great overall experience and felt amazing afterwards having done it ! Jack is a credit to this activity and was great throughout keep up the good work Jack your a star !
A. B.
This was a fantastic experience. Once paperwork was complete, was given clothing, shoes and harness to wear. We were part of a group led by 2 guides Matt and Claire (I think). Everything was explained in a timely professional manner and nothing felt rushed. Souvenir photos were taken with option of buying upon exiting. Walked at a reasonable pace and stopped at the summit to sight see. Views of the city from that part of London were incredible. Suitable from 10 years and over, and planning to return with the children in a couple of years.
J. C.
Amazing experience from start to finish. Went with a stag do and was a brilliant start to the day. Paid a bit extra for a glass of champagne at the top which made everything very civilised. Climb was fine and ok for those who were averagely fit. If it's on a good day the views are amazing. All kit is provided and you get a free drink in the O2 bar at the end. All in all highly recommend.
A. B. A.
SAM the guide was a great guy. Funny commentary and provided a good experience. Would recommend climbing the 02 when weather is decent and not raining.
J.
Thought this would be quite a quick, brief hop over the top of the dome. Surprisingly was about 90 minutes in all. Really great views, our tour guide was excellent. Big platform at the submit, with panoramic views for all the selfies. Good safety throughout, harnesses and footwear provided.
Safe but probably not one for people with anxiety about heights.
My friend paid for us to have a surprise glass of champagne at the top which was a great little touch.
Worth doing, especially if weather is good.
R. P.
Excellent experience. Felt a little rushed but overall enjoyed it and loved the views. Felt very safe during the climb with the equipment. Guide (Theadora) was fantastic, informative and very helpful.
B. S.
This was my husbands 30th birthday present delayed because of lockdowns was so worth the wait. It was a fantastic experience and we had a great bloke joey who was running the walk that day. He gave us loads of info aswell as beinv reallt friendly and making the time fun. Would 100% recommend people try
A. S.
Guide is great fun and overall it is well run experience. The thing is the view is just not that great. The only thing you can see is canary wharf and the Thames because you are so far south east. Would much rather do the London eye or on a budget go up sky garden in Bank. You can see a lot more.
S. m.
This was a great 90 minutes. You walk through to get harnessed up then make your way out to the stairs up to the start of the walk, the is a photographer snapping you before you start the walk.
Your harness is attached to a cable all the time until you get to the top so no over taking people. It is quite steep at the start but gets easier. Once at the top you spend 20 mins taking in the views then head down the other side. There are toilets at the start and finish.
Definitely worth doing.
P. S. (.
We was lucky enough to see an acoustic set up at The O2. The staff were great and great to see they take safety really seriously.
The climb itself is actually really easy and the first part of the climb is the most daunting but it really is not bad once you get started.
The view itself is a must to see, I have lived in and around London for so long and can't believe I have only got around to doing this.
H. F.
Fantastic, it was easier going up than going down, you have a good 20 minutes at the top platform for a rest and photos. Very secure with the harness and the clip that fits to the wire all the way. Top Tip go down backwards on the way down it’s steeper than you think.!
A. A.
Great experience, It wouldn’t of been what it was without our wonderful guide Suzie, she made this experience worthwhile for me and my friend! I would definitely recommend this activity!
j.
A unique, exhilarating experience for anyone looking for something a little different. Whole thing is over in an hour. You get an instructor climbing (though actually it's a steep walk) with you. Suitable for all ages (climbed with a ten year old and a 60 year old). Get about 20-30 mins on viewing platform at top for pictures. Walkway bouncy in places because it's made out of reinforced fabric. Maximum group size 30 people apparently. Harnesses all supplied and safety checked repeatedly before you start. I'm not a massive fan of heights but got on okay.
E. S. S.
Really nice experience. Not a scary climb or an adrenaline rush experience, but more of a workout - climbing up and going down. Made a reservation for 7:30PM. I think they also admit walk-ins. They provided the shoes, and the overalls. It was quite cold and windy. I only wish that I had brought some gloves. Our guide Charles, was very helpful and he really made everyone feel confident/safe about climbing up and going down. No phones allowed during the climb, only at the top. The attire given has pockets for phones or cameras.
D. S.
Amazing experience walking over The O2. At 69 it was now or never! But it was worth every penny! We had a very windy day but this just added to the excitement. It was like climbing a giant bouncy castle I felt like a kid again. Totally exhilarating, would recommend to everyone. The views were to die for and you get the opportunity at the top to take all the photos of London you want to.
H. M.
Definitely recommend Up at The O2 to do. Doesnt matter the weather and it is just cool to climb the icon. What’s really good about the whole experience? You’ll get shoes and outfit there so just dress for the cold/warmth of the day and you’ll be fine!
A. T.
Great visit. Interesting climb with great views at the top . Staff interaction brilliant except from their photographer.(a bit weird and rude).
E. S.
Very nice experience climbing the O2 arena. Nice views of the surroundings in all directions. Rachel was a very good guide with attention to safety details and sense of humor. The Climb has lots of safety precautions, so don't worry about safety. You need to be in not-bad physical shape to enjoy the climb. Pay attention to the guide for best experience.
H. F.

Great experience, best thing of the day for me and would recommend the twilight timeslot

Great experience, It wouldn’t of been what it was without our wonderful guide Suzie, she made this experience worthwhile for me and my friend! I would definitely recommend this activity!

Great views, friendly staff and an overall excellent experience for all. There are some steep sections on the climb (and especially the descent) that may be challenging for those with mobility issues but this is expected.

Quite a unique fun thing to do, however it is over quite quick and the view could be better. Make sure to go on a day with nice weather. The staff is amazing!

An interesting site where one can conquer her fear of heights or just enjoy a nice view from the roof. For an experienced climber this is just a piece of cake...still worth doing it.

Bought this as a present for my husband. I was terrified as I'm scared of heights. The guides Helen and Ross were brilliant and funny which helped the nerves. Got kitted up really quickly so I didn't have time to panic and back out. Once we got going, we were up fairly quickly. The first section really felt like a workout and was tough to get up, but it was fine after that. The guides let us go at our own pace and kept checking that everyone was OK. They'd stay with anyone that was struggling. They knew I was scared so they kept making sure I was OK. Great views at the top, even on a cloudy day. Both my husband and I loved it. I'd do it again, even though I found it scary. There's a real sense of achievement once you've completed it. Loved the photos the photographer took, and couldn't resist buying them. Also bought a medal at the end ❤️

O2 is a multi dimensional spaces with unusual space planning and structure having great interior looks. It consists of Shopping mall, food street and great standard of entertainment facilities like arena and cinema as well. It's in a circle form and roof is accessible for the surrounding view of London.
M. R.
Quite pricey for what it is, but definitely worth doing. The views are pretty good
P. H.
The experience is fun and somewhat physically challenging. While the pace of the ascent and descent is slow, the steepness at the beginning and end of the walk can be challenging - it's the trampoline-like floor that makes it a bit tricky, but with the slow pace and helpful instructor, most people will be able to manage this.
The views, while impressive, are not quite spectacular. This is partly due to buildings obscuring the view to the west, which means a number of London's iconic landmarks can't really be seen - you can catch glimpses of them on the way up and down, but it's not the same as being able to take them in while at the summit. However, the views are a joy to take in, especially if the weather is clear, which it was for us.
The whole experience lasts around 90 minutes, from the initial briefing to the completion of the walk over the dome. For the money it represents good value for money and something I would recommend to everyone.

Amazing experience and incredible views of London from the top!
Joey and Max were brilliant and made the experience so much more enjoyable with their knowledge and humour
T. V.
Great thing to do, especially as it’s a little out of the ordinary.
We arrived a little early for our “ascent” but couldn’t take an earlier time as it was booked up solid.
There’s plenary of places around and in the 02 to grab a coffee.
It’s a totally safe thing to do as you’re clipped to a safety rail all the way up and back down. You’ll get a few minutes “untethered” on the viewing platform at the top which is surrounded by guard rails.
Our guide “Clare” made it fun and informative.
R. S.
We enjoyed the trip up and over, well worth doing if you are going to be nearby and want something to do, give yourself plenty of time as doing the forms and getting in and out of the gear, climbing up, doing photos and going down the other side, getting the gear off and buying stuff from the gift shop can take a long time.

I did the walk in late Feburary when UK experienced its warmest ever winter!
This has always been on my to-do list. When I decided to go to UK in winter, I was still hesitating if I should do it if the weather was bad. When the weather forecast said it would be warm, I marked the date when there would be no rain and no clouds and I bought my ticket online.
The one I picked is the Twilight Climb as I love the blue hour more than the sunset itself. Here comes the tricky part - choosing the right timeslot where you will be at the top of O2 when it is the blue hour. The sun set at 1736 that date and my timeslot was 1730. Before going up, you will have to watch a safety video and put on the gear. It also took a little time walk up there, depending on the speed and size of group. I still managed to caught a bit of the blue hour when walking to the top. However, if you like the blue hour, I would recommend booking a timeslot that starts 15 or even 30 minutes before the sunset. (This is the kind of info. I was hoping to find before booking so I hope it helps!)
For the climb itself, it was not scary at all (I had a fear of heights), probably because you could not see the ground. It was rather easy though a part of it was a little bit steep but it was very much manageable. Tim, our guide, was very friendly and made sure every one was okay during the climb. He also helped us take lots of pictures when we've reached the top. Cheers Tim!
The view was incredible and you could have a panoramic view of London! Amazing experience!
D. C.
Booked via the O2 app so saved some money and fortunate that the although the weather was grey, it was dry and the sun came out. We had a great guide in terms of Max who kept checking we were looked after and reassured us on the way up and down. There are some amazing views from the viewing platform and we had plenty of time to enjoy the sights. A brilliant experience.
C. B.
We had an amazing time! Our host, Craig, was really entertaining but at the same time incredibly informative about the surrounding area of the O2 and made us feel really safe. It was a great experience, could not recommend enough - thank you Craig!
B. S.
Great experience, I definitely recommend and would do it again!
Joey was our instructor and was amazing!
A. M. G.
Amazing experience! and what a view! Also this guy saved my life on the way down with a great tip: walk backwards ;)
M. S.
Amazing experience, great guide with plenty of knowledge, would definitely do it again
b.
Great experience, guide was absolutely brilliant giving us enough support, even better didn't charge us for 4 glasses of champagne, so I thought I'd leave a good review, would highly recommend to anyone who loves London and the experiences that it offers. We'll done guys.
A. S.
O2 shopping outlet is great place to spend your day with friends, has great shops and lovely places to eat.
S. H.
Awesome tour with the most lovely guide Fran. Both funny and helpful, she made the walk over the O2 a lovely experience
J.
Great way to spend a couple of hours. Our guide was really good pointing out landmarks and taking pictures. I'm scared of heights and found this challenging, but I'm glad I did it. The views were amazing even on a cloudy blustery day.
C. P.
The O2 area has so much to do these days from eating out and music gigs. So the o2 climb was something you must do if you have the chance. Prices can vary and you will need to book before you visit.
Managed to grab a bite to eat after and went on a weekday so wasn't that busy. Views wasn't that great due to the weather, so advisable to go during the summer months to avoid disappointment.
B. S.
My wife and I just did the walk and it was amazing. Our guide was Matt Smith "with the shorts" and he was so much fun. Great sense of humour and very friendly. We had a great time with some amazing views
K. J.
Brilliant experience but you need a head for heights and ability to walk on a trampoline. Very good guides who explain all the safety measures and don't rush you at all.
J. T.
Very safe most importantly and good fun especially once your at the top. Nice views, would recommend checking the weather before you go. Gloves for the hike are £8, hat & gloves £12 and you can buy pictures of your climb but you are allowed to bring a phone to take selfies once at the top so would recommend just doing that
S. A.
Book a time slot beforehand, complete a waiver for each climber, watch a short intro video and then harness, walking shoes and gilet provided (with a zipped pocket for phone). All belongings are put in a blue box with a number and safely locked away until return. Instructor Ellie was amazing, funny, informative and competent. Initial climb is steep 30° incline but ok even if not very fit. Slow walk with the group. Feel a sense of achievement when completed! Can buy photos in gift shop but quite expensive!
k. r.
Had a great climb today, Matt the instructor was brilliant very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would highly recommend. Great views from the top.
C. G.
Nice way to see an alternative view of London. We did the climb in summer which made it incredibly hot wearing the climbing suit!
T. F.
good experience great views of london =i'm not the fittest person and found it easy -despite the instructor tightening the harness round my groin a bit tight -probably because i was trying to crack a few jokes --most people should be able to manage it= plenty of time to take pictures at the top -found it easier going up -its a bit hard on the knees going down =the last 20 yards or so are very steep =instructors are great despite the harness tightening incident
K. J. A.
London's one of the most beautiful popular places. Adults and kids activities as well as shopping and cinema and food shops. Great place for family to spend a good time. Love the security system. Nice environment and some beautiful interior.
J. Y.
Absolutely brilliant! The best thing I've done all year. It is really well organised and is very easy to put on your harness and clip yourself to the O2. They do provide you with climb suits in the winter. As it is currently summer they do not offer a climb suit however they do offer these sleevless jackets where you can store phones face masks etc. Lastly I thought I'd mention our climb gide her name was Sarah she was really helpful and gave lots of facts and showed us where the buildings and sights of London were. Overall I really loved this experience!
K. M.
Its expensive but a great experience. If you are scared of heights it's okay, you are clipped on. Great views and lots of fun.
W. G. (.
Staff were great. The climb was good although not much to see in terms of view at the top.
Y. C.
Unforgettable experience. You’d better make a reservation of the time you would like to go. The champagne is not as good as the view there. Actually the tour not that high and not that tough at all and I recommend couples to go there for fun and have a nice film with popcorns after that.
S. C.
Our guide Emily was amazing and very informative. I absolutely loved the experience it is deffo a must I am not great with heights but you actually don't realise you are up that high. Overall fantastic experience from start to finish
D. R.
Fantastic experience this morning climbing over the O2. Highly reccomend. Good value for money and worth the trip. Our climb leader Troy was friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help.
S. W.
Had a lovely evening up the O2 today. Staff was very friendly and our guide was excellent too, sadly I forgot his name.
F.
I would highly recommend this experience. It takes about an hour and a half and you get plenty of time at the top. Our guide was great and helped out if you were a bit nervous. Anyone visiting the o2 make sure you climb it.
E. B.
Really fun climb, even in the wind and rain! A great guide and really friendly group made this a great experience. Nice views from the top on a wet and grey day.
M. A.
A memorable experience, something worth doing. It’s an easy climb to the top.
It was raining the day we climbed, I wish it was sunny but still worth it. They provided us with shoes so it’s easy to climb and they offer a coat or a gillet to wear as well.
B. W.
Absolutely brilliant and very unique experience. Had a great time and it was neither rushed or too long. This is a well run attraction and this is shown by all the staff we met on the day. Pleasant, friendly and a passion for what they do.
L. E.
We had a great trip. The instructor was friendly and the safety instructions clear. Everything was well organised.
C. B.
Great experience. Would suggest it.
R. W.
Brilliant experience ...I'm Not great on heights but I loved this.Would definitely do again possibly try night time walk next.
C. S.
Good day out. There was about 16 in our group - families, couples, friends, solo and mixture of about 10yrs old to 60yrs+. Great on a sunny day like I had, although imagine grim on a cold or wet day. Professionally done shoes, gillet or fleece and harness provided. Tour guides energetic and friendly. Allow 90 mins - an hour is climbing up and down with a 10-15 min break at the top. Some decent views - not many stunning or iconic buildings to see during the day. Climb steep in places, use caution if you have any foot injuries as the service is a bouncy mesh like canvas. Try and get a discount if you can - if you are with O2 mobile they often do discounts through O2 priority. Otherwise I think full price is a bit steep for the experience!
C. L.
Great experience! One of the best things I've done in London, amazing guide Sam with all the knowledge, and what a view. Highly recommended.
J. H.
Really enjoyed this. Climb not as steep as I thought except the last bit coming down. Felt very safe, well looked after. Great views at the top around London. You can take your camera or phone for piccies but need a zipped pocket to put the items in or they can supply you with a jacket.
S. M.
Second time for my wife and I, but this time we had our eighteen year old daughter with us. All had a great time, Teddy our guide was fun and informative.
N. H.
This was a great fun trip. Not as much of an exertion as you might think. Stunning views, I want to go again now. Jess and Sachit were lovely hosts.
D. W.
Interesting walk over the roof of the O2 Arena. Very safe, as we had harness special shoes, and a tethering cable attaching us to the roof . Guides were great, and got us up there at our pace.
T. K.
Absolutely amazing experience! Due to the Uber boat being late we arrived late but they managed to fit us in to the next climb! George the climb lead was fantastic, funny and well informed... I'm terrified of heights/vertical drops but I felt safe with him in charge! Was amazing!
N. S.
Really nice experience, good to see London from top of o2. Whole experience takes about 90 min. Quick induction, shoes and overalls are provided along with Lockers for valuables - free of charge.
S. H.
A fun experience which we received as a gift.
The guide will make or break the experience, luckily ours was great!
15 mins or so to get up, 15 mins at the top and about 10 mins to get down. It gets a but boring at the top after a while although plenty of selfie opportunities.
A bit of an adrenaline rush plus some good views across London, with some history and local knowledge from the guide.
M. E.
Amazone experience loved every second of it. It is kind of a workout I must say it is quite exhausting to walk up but once you are up - it's so cool!
S. A. P.
Best thing I've ever done! You have to work to get to the top but the amazing view is worth all the effort. I'll do it again 😃
V. A.
Pretty cool experience. Felt very safe. The view is pretty decent at the top. Taking off 1 star because the photos cost £30 and felt like a rip off, and there was no option to get just the digital photos.
B. S. A.
Best Experience I've had in London so far. Climb not so difficult. Beautiful view at the top. Guide was very engaging and friendly. Champagne was refreshing.
T. D.
The whole experience was very well organised, Sara led our climb and made it fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this, we did this in poor weather without much of a view, but that didn't ruin it for us.
A. T.
A nice (tiring) climb up the O2. The view was amazing. Our guide for the climb was very supportive and would love to do it again.
E. H.
Great fun and our rep Sam was great at explaining a lot about the O2 arena and the area around.
J. C.
Really good experience thanks to Boris, happy to recommend.
N. A.
Excellent experience , helped with a friendly, funny and knowledgeable guide Ross who is leaving and will be a big miss to the experience imho. Well worth doing
A.
Definitely worth it!
I was a bit sceptical of this attraction (being a Londoner myself) but booked the birthday package for myself and honestly was so glad I did.
The climb up was pretty easy, the climb down though is quite steep. My tour guide was amazing and super friendly. She made the group all feel excited about the climb. It's a great experience and definitely worth it.
C. s.
Amazing experience today up at the 02 very friendly staff and overall brilliant
J. C.
While it is expensive it is not exorbitant for the experience. The team running it are very experienced and have worked out the whole process from start to finish to a T. They spend alot of time explaining the process and bigging up how safe things are to reassure the faint hearted. They know where the pit falls are and warn and prepare partcipants well inadvance for them. They are friendly and helpful and make it fun and a challenge everyone can be proud of achieving. That with being at the O2 make it an experience to remember.
T. S.
Was an amazing experience for my 50th and Fran our guide was so friendly and patient and really made u feel at ease
P. R.
Great fun, amazing views. Would definitely recommend it. Really fun and friendly guide too.
N.
Great experience and staff were do friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff and an amazing experience! Views where beautiful!
P. “. P.
Great experience, best thing of the day for me and would recommend the twilight timeslot
R. T.
Fun experience. Well run and not scary at all. Would recommend.
S. H.
The climb was INCREDIBLE! By far my favourite part of our weekend in London - the views were stunning, the weather was amazing and I couldn't stop smiling throughout. The climb is accessible to anyone medically fit to take part for anyone who might be worried about being older or not 'fit' enough to do it!
Our guide Vega was absolutely amazing and helpful and made the experience really wonderful. She was really friendly and kept moving alongside the group to ensure everyone was okay and even took some pictures for us up at the top!
The experience was absolutely wonderful and I really do recommend to anyone who's considering it :)
A. L.
This is what my partner did for me ,excellent guard and view at the top was lovely
C. B.
Brilliant day even though it was freezing and pouring with rain - spoiler you walk down backwards from the top which is scary!
Experience is like 1.5 hours and our guide gave us lot of information at the top.
Great day out as its surrounded by the outlet mall and restaurants, parking is expensive and can be very busy.
D. M.
Absolutely amazing!! We were late arriving due to excessive roadworks and bridges being shut but the staff were amazing and put us on the next booking time. It is such an amazing experience, the views are fantastic and no where near as cold as I thought it would be. Our guide Megan was fantastic very helpful and informative 👍 definitely worth doing
G. O.
Fabulous experience. Our guide Suzi made everyone feel comfortable and we all had a great laugh. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would!
K. M.
Great trip, our guide Emily was very knowledgeable. An easy climb - shoes and harness provided. A great 90 minutes!!
C. P.
Went here for the sunset climb last night 19/9/20, not being a great lover of heights I wasn't really looking forward to it. On arriving we were greeted by friendly helpful staff, Covid 19 spacing in place and distancing well thought out. We were then greeted by a helpful, knowledgeable guide, Fran. She talked us through every aspect of the climb, how to secure ourselves and once on the climb made everyone feel at ease, no rushing, even at the top took photos of us. There was a lady who wasnt that happy with the climb due to her fear of heights, but Fran made her feel safe and helped her all the way... All in all a great experience with a great guide, Thanks Fran and the rest of the team.
s. c.
Was a great experience for someone that doesn't like highs! Great views and a lovely sunset
D. G.
The O2 experience was unique and it provided great views across the London skyline.
H. H.
Spectacular views good climb great experience and staff
A. C.
We took our daughters this evening for the sunset walk as part of our youngest’s birthday treats. Our guide George was great. Provided good safety briefing and kept us entertained throughout. Highly recommend (even if I was the sacrificial lamb at the front 😀)
Y. S.
We had a great time up there very nice views 360 degree angle but I don't think the price is fair it's not so long and there's so much better places to see such views and they didn't let us take pictures because they wanted us to buy the pictures they took but I wasn't disappointed and they have very good service and very good staff
S. B.
A nice friendly bunch.
The safety video worth watching.
Our leader very helpful asked us to stop every so often to wait for stragglers. The stunning views are worth the effort.
N. b.
Great day. Great staff.
Definitely be doing in dusk too.....
M. C.
What a fantastic time we had by all the group attending ..the climb was well organised and a joy to stand on the viewing platform of the roof of the 02 .a great adventure and great for people with a fear of heights too overcome their fears in a well controlled and safe environment and the guides where fantastic..
S. F.
Really good, Theodora was an excellent guide. Only criticism was we didn't have long on the platform but the teenagers enjoyed themselves
D. S.
Craig was a great host really charming and engaging. He shared good knowledge and made everything super simple.
H.
Such an amazing experience! Staff are super friendly and helpful. I have been lucky to do it during the day and at night and I much preferred the day!
J. A.
Really enjoyed the climb. Shame about weather but can't be helped.
Our guide Duncan was very nice.
B. 8.
Well worth the very reasonable cost. Great views, something a little different and friendly staff.
M. M. (. p.
Nice attraction and little expensive but don't expect nice view of London. It's surrounded by modern skyscrapers.
J. B.
Had the best time with my 8 year old daughter today at Up at the O2. I was a bit worried that she would get scared but our guide Georgia was absolutely brilliant with her and put her mind at ease.
We had a fab time and would highly recommend this to anyone else. It is an experience we will never forget (also helped having a glass of bubbly once I reached the top.....little madam had a coke!)
Thank you Up at the O2 for such a great experience
G. S.
We all had a great day climbing up to the top of the O2. Superbly nice staff too👍

"Regeneration was always ever a gentrification strategy, and we knew it. We knew it from Blair's 1997 launch of New Labour's regeneration policy from the stigmatised Aylesbury Estate in London where the desperate 70s class‐neutral language of revitalisation, recycling, renaissance and especially regeneration was revived in the 2000s—a language as deliberately anodyne as it is ideological and mendacious; an environmentally friendly cover for class cleansing in the urban landscape."
- Neil Smith
K. A.
Great experience! Easy for anyone over 10 and not too challenging. Beautiful views from the top and a glass of bubbly if you wish
D. C.
Was much better than I expected. I went on the sunset climb on a nice day, wonderful experience. I was also lucky to see the Harvest full moon as well on the way down.
A. O.
Lovely experience I must say. Aby was our instructor and she's rather good and helpful.
T. W.
Great opportunity to walk over the O2 Arena, safety came first and even wind proof clothing is supplied if needed
A. Q. H.
What a beautiful experience! Dec 2017
Dec 2017 I booked my husband tickets for Christmas to do the climb over at the o2, it was such an amazing experience we absolutely loved it. We had to go into a little room and watch a video about how to do our safety clothes and about how to walk over. Then we was moved to another room to put the clothes on before starting and finally we moved on in our group. I was a bit nervous at first but I really enjoyed myself this is definitely something people should try
M. S.
Loved every minute!! Natalie was a Great host!
K. H.
My 2 daughter (15yrs and 12yrs) went, they had such a good time and we will be booking again, CALUM deserves 5* alone-he was so friendly and chatty, my girls are funny with people but they really liked him ;)
W. S.
I never been to 02 and it was my birthday present was 65 and walked over the 02 I loved it didn't see the icon outlet that be next time and cable cars
D. B.
Great visit today
G. M.
Definitely an adventure, physical but most people can do it. No great sense of height, and the surrounding residential tower blocks spoil some of the views
J. “. S.
Cannot recommend this enough. We did it for my partners 30th and it was an amazing experience.
B. H.
The best experience ever and we will do it again
Y. A.
Lovely and fun experience, thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely coming back again, the staff especially Ellie was so helpful, enthusiastic, supportive and made the whole experience amazing.
B. I.
Great experience! Our guide Vega, was really helpful and funny. She made the whole experience unforgettable. (The girl on the reception ruined the champagne surprise but I guess she did not do it intentionally).
D. H.
Brilliant view and an overall great experience! The people were friendly and knowledgeable and the climb was really enjoyable! Would recommend!
C. M.
Great experience! Staff were excellent at explaining and helping you with kit and assisting you on the climb. It rained on the way up and was a bit slippy but the staff were reassuring. Great views from the top and a really amazing experience. Easy to get to from the tube and there's loads to do at the o2 before and after your climb.
J. B.
What a fantastic experience we had . The instructor Simon was brilliant 👏.
J. N.
For those who don't know, it represents a year 52m high 365m wide and has 12 struts holding it up
J. G.
A fantastic experience to see London from a different angle. I am not too good with heights and was nervous before starting the climb but tour guide Linda was great at explaining everything and asked if anyone had any concerns to mention them as she gave out the equipment. I said I was a bit nervous and she was great at watching out for me throughout the climb, checking I felt OK and distracting me on the hard bits by having a chat. She is a lovely warm person and informative of what we could see at various points. Something a bit different to add to your itinerary if visiting London.
j. p.
Great day out, staff very friendly, climb was fab. An enjoyable day all round.
Highly recommend.
G. M.
it was awesome! Scottish Ross was brilliant, knew his stuff and put us all at ease. I want to go again!!!

A. W.
Loved our climb! Amazing experience and Nolan was a fantastic guide.
U. U.
Such fun experience! The guide, Joe was fantastic. Definitely recommend!
d.
Well worth it, but if you have knee issues be aware it's quite a long steep climb up and down
A.
Awesome experience! The climb is steep at parts, but not as difficult as I thought it would be. Remember to wear/bring socks!
D. N.
Great experience well organised the views over London are amazing easy to book online
D. 7.
Really good news when I was told that I was going to go up this world wide famous attraction and wouldn't have missed for the world.
K. P.
Fantastic experience, great views from the top and our guide George really enhanced the experience.
a. l.
Had a great day, I was nervous but it was a Christmas present for my partner. Max was supportive and made the experience enjoyable, his humour made the experience easier for me. We were given lots of information at the top and he was friendly. Would recommend this for everyone, it’s an amazing experience!
D. M.
I booked this for my partners birthday.. great experience all round. Very easy to book in, full safety video and talk given along with all the safety equipment. Took us just over an hour with a great opportunity to take pictures etc on the top viewing platform. Fantastic views from the top!! Great tour guide, think our lady was called Della. Kept us all in line and made sure we were 100% safe. We had pictures taken which you then had the choice to purchase afterwards. All in all highly recommend this for all ages
R. B. (. b.
The experience was amazing. Our guide, Claudia was very friendly and knowledgeable and did her best to encourage us if we became nervous. She spoke to us on a personal level to help us forget that we were climbing so high and was very patient if we made a mistake, and helped us subtly without embarrassing us. She also took pictures for us and encouraged everyone to make the most of the beautiful scenes.
The only negatives I could find was when I got my phone out, one of the other guides (who was a photographer for o2) told me to put my phone away in a manner which made me feel embarrassed as it was a little like a school kid getting told off. I only got my phone out as I saw another group do the same and thought it was ok - obviously it wasn't but I didn't need to be reminded in that tone.
One of the other climbers wore their gilet jacket outside the harness and not the inside and Claudia very nicely whispered to the climber so they didn't feel embarrassed. Wish the photographer guide had done the same for me!
s. j.
Amazing. Ppl try it. It worth it. If you visit London its a must and it makes an excellent birthday gift. We had great assistance George and Troy to walk with us.
M. B.
Good. Very well organized, not to hard to get to the top. When on the top, get about 10-15 minutes to look and take photos. All together is about a hour and a half.
P. D.
Sadly did this in awful weather, guide was great but didn't see to far in the distance would definitely do it again
P. J.
This experience is really good, and it's targeted to suit all abilities. The views are fab, our tour guide was knowledgeable too
G. V.
Excellent experience, definitely recommend it!
L. C.
Wow, what an amazing experience! Very well organised. The staff are fantastic, very friendly, helpful and supportive. I climbed with my 2 teenagers (14 and 16 years) a, perfect activity for that age group. Good value for money. 100% recommend.
R. W.
Great experience with our guide, Wendy. She was really fun, energetic and made everyone feel comfortable. If you’re feeling confident, try going first in the queue on the way up and down. If others find it difficult getting their attachments through the bolts they may hold you up. We were first on the way down and it felt amazing to glide smoothly whilst viewing the scenery! Nice memento’s in gift shop... photos of your experience, key rings and fridge magnets. I overall enjoyed my climb. Many thanks to Wendy 😁
K. N.
Fantastic experience! definitely recommend it. Didn't have much of an expectation so was pleasantly surprised. definitely a different way to see London. Had a really friendly and helpful guide (George) who made all the difference. My sister struggled on the final descent, the guide was absolutely fantastic at dealing with her. was very impressed by his level of professionalism. Great job👍
D.
Excellent place the staff is very nice and kind! They did a well presentation. It's awesome up there totally recommended.
O.
It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to anyone the view was amazing the climb was not to challenging but felt amazing once you'd done it. The staff were extremely kind and knew what to do around every corner and felt like they were there just to support you and not get in your way. Overall an amazing experience and I would go back again in a heartbeat.
B. B.
An incredible experience made even more enjoyable by our excellent guide ( well done to you Natalie.. hope those 50 walks up and down don't wear you out! 🤣🤣)
Views were fantastic and well worth the climb ( which was easier than we thought). totally recommend this experience.
S. A.
Beautiful views, great activity and a great gift to give someone. Windy at the top but very good equipment and friendly staff. Felt very safe and secure the whole time even though I have a small fear of heights. Loved it. Steady climb up. First part is the steepest. Hardest part was actually coming back down the steepest part at the end as my knees aren't the best. Take your time and enjoy x

Amazing experience, great views and really friendly staff. Well worth doing!

Great experience. I was a wee bit daunted but once I was clicked on, it was great fun. The guide Matt, was a good laugh and gave the impression that he was looking out for the group. They provide jumpsuits or gillets, walking shoes and gloves, so just wear comfortable clothes. It was grey and a bit rainy but the views are great but generally it's a fun, novel thing to do.
T. B.
It's a great experiences to visit for shows ect .
M. P.
Good experience overall. Booked sunset view but we were taken up late and therefore the whole group missed the sunset
S. P.
The experience was well organised from start to finish. With the current ongoing SARS COV2 pandemic, there were extra precautions in place on top of the usual safety measures. Everyone wore masks during the indoor portion where we watched a safety video and received our gear. The helpful staff were on top of everything with sanitising stations, and distanced areas to sit at. We felt safe the whole way through and comfortable knowing they were on top of things.
Pandemic safety done, they also had all the needed safety measures in place for the actual climb. This included proper shoes to wear, a full body harness and a wire which you are attached to during the climbing portions. If you have done something like the Sydney bridge climb, you will be familiar with the setup. Mobile phones are not allowed out during the experience, except on the viewing platform at the top, so they also give you a light vest to wear to hold your phones. Any other valuables are locked up in lockers and left behind.
The climb starts with a few flights of stairs and then some professional photos available to purchase later. From this point, we attached ourselves to the safety wire and started making our way up the inclined walkway to the top. Some points were steeper than others, but also had enough grip on the walkway to secure us. There is nothing difficult about the walk. If you have gone up a steep inclined road, this will be familiar to you. It’s a bit bouncy as well which added to the fun of the walk.
The best part about Up at the O2 is obviously the views which begin on your way up where you start to see the city come into view all around you. It’s not until you are at the top that you realise just how high you have come and just how much the city has been built up in the area. Depending on your time slot, your view will vary as they offer everything from day climbs to twilight climbs. I was there during the ‘golden hour’ of sunset, on a perfect weather day, so our view was incredible. The sun was setting behind the skyline of Canary Wharf, and we had a full 15 minutes to enjoy it. There were also drinks available to purchase ahead of time, so people were given those at this time. At this point, we took out our cameras and snapped away, while having our breath taken away while we marvelled the views.
Overall a great time!
B. C.
Our family (with two kids 11 and 14) really enjoyed the climb! The views are stunning and you are strapped in similar to (what I would imagine) a mountain climb so there is no fear of falling. There are parts where it is fairly 'steep' (like 30 degrees) so keep that in mind if you are traveling with those that may not be "Inclined" to take such a walk. The great part is O2 is massive with tons on restaurants so we did the walk then dinner so great evening out!
A. F.
Fun, light-hearted experience. I was a bit daunted before the event but when I showed up there were a fair few kids so I figured if they could do it, so could I. I went with several friends and we had a good laugh and a glass of champagne at the top. Its a nice activity taking up roughly half a day in the city!
S. W. (.
Really worth doing for the experience and views.
F. A.
Good experience but sadly felt at points there were too many pictures being attempted to be taken so more money could be spent. Staff were great though
J. T.
Awesome experience and definitely recommended 😊. Sunset is the bar time to go in my opinion
M. H.
Great fun, brilliant views of London with a bit of excitement at the same time. Good value for money in my view.
S. S.
We had a really great experience though weather wasn't really great. We were rushing to get in and teams in reception were very friendly whereas helping us to gear up properly as well. Definitely, great photographer even in rainy day :) The team/guide with us ABBY and MEGAN were great. Helping to make sure people are fine while climbing and getting down.
D. B.
Absolutely stunning would definitely recommend the climb.
L. O.
One amazing day a few weeks ago me and my mum did this and it was a pleasure for me and my mum seeing the sights of London😀😀😀 and it was an amazing day well done mummy 😀
H. W.
Fran was fantastic making the whole experience better. Really worth doing, awesome.
S. S.
Absolutely awesome experience!! Highly recommend to anyone!! Group of 4 of us completed the climb. Our guide was amazing with great information, she made the climb even better!!
C. M.
A great experience! Really nice guide/climber and we had a very small group of four which made it nice. Very steep in some places, but you're secured on at all times when climbing, and grippy shoes are supplied. We were allowed to take a compact camera and phone up with us.
C. W.
Great experience walking up and seeing the views. I'll definitely do it again.
C. R.
We had great guides - Ellie and Sarah - who were chatty, fun and helpful. I'm not big on heights but managed it - not wanting to let nieces down - and the views from the top are amazing. All equipment is provided including shoes, they even throw in a harness!
P. M.
Really enjoyable, great views, friendly staff well worth it 👍
N. H.
It's ok if you're bored otherwise plenty of other things going on in the city...
D. B.
An unforgettable experience from the moment I walked in, right till the end. Natalie was our guide for the 11:30 climb 26/7/18. After the induction we got our climbing gear on and up we went. The climb wasn't difficult, but it was a good workout anyway. The view at the top was good, despite it being really hot. The guide really looked after everyone and made sure everyone had a good experience.
G. E.
Far better than I expected. Mostly due to having Matt as our excellent guide.
T. S. B.
bloody brill me and mate did it our guide wratchet oops sanchet sorry cudnt resist it was brill all the staff was great view was good friendly but profesional service
M. N.
So beautiful this experience was!! Can’t wait to go on it again!!!
Y. A.
The start of the climb was very steep but when you are at the top the views are amazing. Had a lovely guide that talked us through the do's and don't. Highly recommend this.
J. A.
GREAT DAY! ALL STAFF EXCEPTIONAL!
ESP OUR TOUR GUIDE ELLIE ! 🙂
WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND OTHERS TO COME AND DO IT ESP FOR THE VIEWS !
D. C.
I enjoyed the climb. Climbing equipment made me feel safe. Good instructor (Jack). Special shoes provided. Reasonably priced. Good views from the top. Well worth a visit. Need to be reasonably fit.
R. S.
Well organised and knowledgeable staff. Good safety precautions and instructions. Walk is not as high up as I expected and not very challenging. Views are ok. Most of the major London attractions are blocked by Canary wharf. It's not worth the money.
N. M.
This is a really great experience either for a couple or some friends and family. It will last for nearly 2 hours from start to end, and this includes your briefing, your suiting up, your climb, your 15 minutes at the top and your descent.
We had a really great guide called George that was both funny and entertaining, but also really friendly and helpful and really seemed to care about what he was doing and giving the team the best experience.
We came as a couple, however there were groups of fours and fives within our expedition. We were given forms to read and sign and there was a short 3/4 minute video to watch. Our instructor, George, then showed us how to put our harnesses on and informed us of the expectations. We had a quick oppertunity to use the bathroom before we suited up.
Just to make anyone aware that hasn't read the small print that you will be required to wear their climbing shoes so ensure you have socks on.
Once you're suited up you can store your belongings in a box that is locked inside a big crate and wheeled to the other side of the O2 for when you descent down.
You'll begin by climbing stairs, having your group picture taken (viewing and purchasing can be done in the gift shop at the end) and then a quick brief on how to use the clips.
At this point we volunteered to go first and off we went. George told us where to wait for the group to catch up, and we were off. There were several point we had been asked to stop and wait but it felt like we had so much freedom.
Once at the top you'll get 15 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the view, but also there is refreshments if you've prepaid for them. George very helpfully took pictures for everyone and had a chat with us about the local area, a really great guy to represent your business and team.
After our 15 minutes we began our descent back down and before we knew it we were back on the floor. We were then debriefed and had the option to have a look at some of our pictures taken before we ascended. Although I always find these are quite expensive, I thought the experience was so great and we'd enjoyed it so much we really wanted a picture to take home with us.
All the staff were really great from start to end. There is toilets both sides for people to use before and after the climb. There is a gift shop and optional extra for refreshments if you prepay before your climb.
100% would come back and do again, maybe as a larger group. Would also recommend to anyone that is in London and has a spare couple of hours.
Thanks for the really great climb and once again, George was really great and was part of the experience.
P. D.
Very helpful staff, George was a very good guide...a great experience that the kids enjoyed and would highly recommend
M. D.
Good fun! Really professional. We arrived early and they put us on the earlier slot. The intro was good and interesting. And the gentlemen who took us up (Gary/Smithy) was excellent. Felt safe and happy at all times. Would definitely recommend! :)
G. C.
Good experience, good climbing vibe without the mountain! Boris our instructor was spot on!
S. G.
Climbed today for my daughter's Birthday. We loved the whole experience from getting suited & booted, to the actual climb. Our guides were called Ross (with superhuman calves!) & Rachel... very nice they were too. It felt like you were on a trampoline... when we got to the top it was amazing!! Great views!!
I preferred the ascent.. as coming down was really steep!!!
What a wonderful way to see the capital 🙂
A. B.
Brilliant, Nero was our host and he was fantastic, cracking a few jokes along the way and making us all feel at ease, would definitely recommend this for others to do, even if you're like me afraid of heights.
L. C.
A pretty nice experience, we did it on a Virgin giving experience.
Personally as someone from London I thought it was a bit overrated, although the view was lovely.
We had champagne at the top but only had about five minutes to drink it, we managed but it was a bit too quick for me.
Overall I probably wouldnt do it again. But it's good for tourists and if it was in another country I'd do it.
R. P.
Good way to see a different view of some of London's landmarks. Our guide (Nathan) was chatty and added a sense of humour that lifted the experience well beyond just a walk over a building. My 11 year old son particularly enjoyed the whole climb. Didn't give 5 stars as like many experience days it's not the cheapest thing to do if you break it down to an hourly rate but overall a great gift to give or receive.
P.
Great time, great views, lucky with weather. Needed the rest at top with glass of champagne
R.
This experience is so much fun! And made 10x better because of the amazing staff :D If the other climbers are anything like the one we had (Helen) you will be in for a great time!
H. W.
Went up on the 25th November at a 2.30pm climb and it was absolutely fantastic! Great value for money, and thoroughly enjoyed by both myself and my partner. I am both scared of height and recovering from a knee injury and I found it fine to climb as well. Both the guides, Rory and Aaron were amazing, and looked after everyone incredibly well. Really great afternoon and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family, thank you!
s.
Really fun experience with great views and not too challenging. A unique way to see the London skyline. The guides are relaxed and accommodating - thanks Ellie for being a brilliant instructor and allowing us to shout-sing our way down!
d. B.
We really enjoyed our sunset climb. I was nervous as I do not like heights. But Sara our guide was funny, helpful and patient which really helped me relax and enjoy the experience. You will feel amazing.. just go for it and enjoy.
H. N.
I will be climbing the 02, next month I just wanted to know does anyone know how many steps there are to the top, thanks
J. P.
Went for a family climb to celebrate our grandson's 10th birthday. Excellent experience and Sarah was an excellent guide, who made our grandson feel special.
Thank you!
M.
Fun way to spend 90mins. Fair amount to see from the top, climb isn't really that challenging but certainly quite bouncy and fun. Ross our guide, was attentive and fun too. Don't worry about bringing personal belongings, as they have secure storage.
V. B.
I had a fantastic time with my partner when we went last night! I have problems with my spine and a fear of heights which would theoretically make me the worst person to do this activity but I had to throw caution to the wind and I am so glad I did! Although at the start I found it harder than the average person would (a mind over matter issue I think) Shaun - the guide - made sure I had a great time... He was there to help every time I got a bit nervous(or too slow!) and praised me when I did well which gave me the confidence I needed to have a whale of a time!
T. V.
Amazing experience!!
Such a wonderful view to look out on on your journey up,once at the top&on the way down!!
From start to finish the experience was Amazing and felt completely safe,Was explained to about every step,Our tour guides for the day were Zach and Kirsty and every step of the way they put your mind at ease,Made it a Fun,Special and all the more exciting experience!!
100% recommended the O2 climb and have done so to many people after they have seen my pics posted on facebook&Instagram!!
C. H.
A fantastic experience with full guidance and explanations a fantastic guide could not fault Max in anyway. Thank you
A. g.
Wonderful experience with professional guides who help and show you what to do. Definitely do it again
P. G.
If you have a head for heights and like a walk then this is stunning. Such a brilliant idea. You do not need to be that physically fit just a bit active, we had a 70 year old on our walk over the top. The views from the top are stupendous and it is such a sense of achievement when you get up there. All safety equipment is supplied and you are always tied on with a harness, the instructors are great.Give it a go, you will love it.
J. O.
Georgia our guide was both fun and informative. We reall enjoyed our walk over the o2
N. M.
Well organised with guides who genuinely seem to enjoy taking people over the O2.
N. S.
We really enjoyed our trek over the arena roof. I'm not sure what was hardest, going up or coming down. Many thanks to our guide Clare who being a local girl was able to point out lots of the landmarks from the viewing platform at the top. Great fun!
T. C.
Amazing service, we just missed our slot time, but the guys went above and beyond to fit us in another one.
M. M.
I went for the sunset walk and got some great pics looking over the horizon across most angles. I expected more of a rush for what it felt like to should be but quite rightly safety was paramount. Best to go at quieter times so you have better chance of not being photobombed. Quite good value for money given the uniqueness of what you’re doing and similar activities on London.
S.
Best thrill and the team were amazing. ( I was quite terrified but the staff (Emily) was fantastic at keeping me clam.
G. R.
What a wonderful experience for all the family. Our Guide"EKE " was very thorough and great at putting us at ease and he enabled us to enjoy our climb with confidence due to his calmness & knowledge. We definitely recommend this and can't wait to go again
C. W.
Great experience to do in London. Worth having a go. Great guide too. Thanks Devon.
J. O.
I've been up at the O2 during sunset. The views were absolutely spectacular. I would recommend this activity of climbing to the peak of the O2 to anyone who is for and active. Activity takes about 30 minutes to complete to climb from the bottom to the top of the O2. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as there were about 10 other people that did the walk and one could also get a medal at the end.
A. M.
Absolutely excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. The views from the top are amazing, well worth it.
J. M.
I got this as a Christmas gift from my parents for me and my fiancée. It was so much fun and learning about the history and ideology of the landmark. It was a good workout to go up the 30° incline and see London from a new perspective. Truly one of the more unique experiences in London
C. G.
Joey was brilliant! Definitely worth doing.
M. P.
Bought this experience day for a friend and I've gotta say it was a lot of fun. Great views of London from the top and if you're scared of heights, don't worry, it really doesn't seem that high when your actually up there. Our guide was Craig who was super friendly and funny and helped us out when we got stuck. Just be prepared for the steep descent on the way down!
L. S.
Went for my 30th (late review) loved every moment of the experience. Well worth the journey and the money, Would love to do it again at dusk to see the city differently.
M. H.
This was a fun Sunday activity which we booked easily through Travel Zoo. I am actually scared of heights (don't ask how I got roped into this!) but the staff were very helpful and assured me I would be fine! Fran was a great host and was very friendly and fun. She chatted to everyone on our climb and made the effort to know everyone's name. She explained everything and was always at hand if anyone needed help. The climb is very steep at the beginning and end but gets easier the higher you get. The decline was a tad more scary in my eyes as you are much more aware how high up you are - but again there is so much safety precautions in place you really are in safe hands. I would definitely recommend the climb, it's a great way to see the city - as we had perfect weather we could see as far as Croydon!
A. M.
So much fun, our guide was really good and explained everything and helped out if anyone got stuck. She was very friendly and took photos of us up at the top. I had a great day out up at the 02 definitely a trip to remember
G. M.
Great views even if a little misty. Better at night probably
b.
52m from the ground-still quite a physical effort if not too fit! Get there 15 mins before climb, watch a video, get kitted up, then go outside for the climb. It took about 90 mins in total. The view was excellent and got plenty of time to see everything. Can take a compact camera and phone in pockets. Photos taken by them were £15! With a 30°slope, you have to climb up and down that, while using your climbing gear.
S. E.
Great views with options for drinks uptop. Guides fantastic, very safe and very a good experience, you need to have solid motor skills with your hands as you need to be able to clip and unclip on the way up and down.
P. M.
Good fun way to spend a day. As long as you can walk unaided I think most people will be fine. Its not too scary either as even though you're high up it always feels safe. Plus you can enjoy one of the many restaurants nearby after.
M. R.
A really enjoyable experience. The climb is easier than you think but it's still satisfying getting to the top. We weren't rushed at all and there's plenty of time to enjoy the view on the way up and at the top. It's a unique thing to do and a unique way to see London! Recommend.
S. A.
Amazing experience I have been up at the 02 twice now on in summer and one in autumn. This time it chucked it down with rain and got absolutely soaked but didn’t stop us with the experience.
The tour guides were amazing Rocco and can’t remember the lady’s name. They were very friendly and went through the safety checks thoroughly before we climbed up the 02.
Going up was quite hard as it’s 52m height the height for every day of the year and has 13 support poles one for every month of the year as we learnt in the video.
We was well equipped for the climb and given full body suit and boots. Going down was the hardest part as the 02 is like a trampoline quite spongy.
When you get to the top it feels amazing and you can take lots of pics.
Will most defiantly climb again
N. F.
What an experience. Something totally different and worth doing
J. A.
Really amazing views - one of my favourite attractions. It’s really worth going there in the summer - best in the afternoon to see the sunset. It’s a truly romantic place if you take your partner with you :)
S. B.
Amazing views, always better when glorious sunshine... A fun 90 minutes.
E.
Great experience! Lovely views! Easy to go up, funny to go down! Martin was our guide, nice sense of humour and very friendly with people who were struggling in their way up/down!
I'd do it again for sure!
N. W.
Fantastic really enjoyed it and thank you to Canadian max
S.
Great experience. Did it in the rain and still enjoyed it...
M. T.
Fabulous time at up at the 02. Liam our guide throughout was great so enthusiastic as though he coukd not do enough for the customers. Thank you Liam you were professional and you made the whole experience great. We were so lucky as the rain stopped just for our climb how lucky were that! Be careful we arrived early but were not able to get on an early slot and was told to go and come back..
Great views of the City at the top. We bought our photos as they were a great keepsake from a fantastic experience. This was a birthday present and wow what a great one. Would definately do it again at a different time.
We

Amazing experience!
D. S.
Great experience. Brilliant climb and fantastic views at the top. Our guide Liam was really informative, made sure everyone was enjoying the climb and happy to take our photos at the top. Would definitely do again.
a. b.
Thoroughly enjoyed experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Made you feel welcome and put you at ease.
R. T.
Went up the O2 during the October half-term 2019 and it was spectacular. The staff were friendly and professional and the gear provided was warm and weatherproof - that said I think we were lucky with the weather so if you're going up and it looks wet/windy/cold, take hats, gloves and layer up, etc.
A. F.
Let me start by saying I am terribly afraid of heights so I started off very iffy upon arrival. Staff are all very friendly when you get there which if you are like me puts you a little more at ease right away.
Just as we were putting up the equipment I let our climbing guide Suzie know I was quite scared. She was extremely helpful, let me go at the back and at my own pace. She checked on me constantly on the route up.
Wow was it worth it! The views are spectacular and you do feel very secure when you're on the viewing platform. It really is amazing when you're up there. Views of what feels like the entirety of London. I did it at night and the lights everywhere just added that little bit extra.
Now it was time to come down! That is a slightly different experience to going up Haha. It starts off very straight forward but towards the end for the last stretch its quite steep. Suzie stayed with me and I have to say it ended up quite easy.
One thing I will say is trust the shoes they give you. The grip is outstanding, you won't slip. You are walking on a flat surface up and down, no stairs. It really isn't physically tiring.
Definitely worth every penny and every moment of anxiety to get to the top :).
H. T.
Had a private session for 15 ppl, the experience was good. Great views. The guide had dry humour wasn't everyone cup of tea, border line rude. Overall though the climb was good. Would do it again.
i.
I’ve done this 2 times now and I would absolutely keep on doing this. Such a amazing experience. Better doing it a night as it’s so lovely
A. A.
Awesome place to shop, fun and entertainment.....😊
D. M.
Great activity and our guide Helen was fantastic, making the activity even more fun and enjoyable. The walk over the top isn’t too difficult and it is very professionally done to a high safety standard so you never really have any doubts or concerns.
M. B.
Brilliant challenging experience for any age. We went up as part of a camera club group in v bad conditions very wet & windy with gusts. The suit & harness protected against weather very heavy duty climbing equipment & secure to a wire.
Guides v professional & helpful. Special mention to Shaz our guide who was marvellous in every way.
Thoroughly recommended
J. C.
Very good experience! Me and my girlfriend loved it! Great views and the guides offer you loads of information about the skyline!
E. F.
totally worth visiting for just something different. cool experience. Nice views. especially on a sunset. with the right attitude you gotta enjoy it a lot. yes it is a bit of climbing up. be ready. but if you are in a good shape and like to be active that is easy! believe me. I am not a sportsman myself :)
K. C.
Loved it 👌 great experience very friendly professional staff would well recommend
D. N.
Cloudy weather but this didn't dampen our spirits, good information from our tour guide and at the top of the walk too! Optional extras are quite expensive (drinks at the top etc) but unfortunately this seems to be a sign of the times for these "experience" events..
S. O.
I loved walking over the O2 with my family. I would definitely recommend it and I will be doing it again.
L. M.
My partner got me tickets for this as a supprise gift. I have to say, it was an amazing experience with knowledgeable friendly Staff. Its hard work but really worth it. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of going.
a. c.
amazing staff, was very windy and raining when we visited but they made sure it was okay to climb. wonderful experience! would recommend and definitely come again in the summer!
S. p.
I took my son on Saturday and it waa a fab experience. Mark and Rokas were our guides, Mark was fantastic with my son, asked him if he wanted to lead the group. Was really friendly and enthusiastic. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Only thing that would improve is to be able to have a cold glass of water at the top.
L. T.
I'm not good with heights so admit I was bricking it when we first started climbing. In the end though, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting the o2 as the views are stunning.
M. H.
Fantastic experience, Mat our guide was brilliant, very funny and imfortavite
M. D.
My mom and I were in London a couple of weeks ago and climbed the O2! She was freaking out beforehand but really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun and our guide (Matt) was awesome! Visibility wasn't great due to the overcast weather, but it was still a great view of the city!
V.
Nice and clean kids loved it there in sky live experience
C. D.
Absolutely incredible experience. Definitely recommended it's a unique experience and not something you get to do every day. Staff are hilarious and amazing.
S. H.
A great experience enjoyed by all the family. Also a huge thank you to Stefan who helped our grandson overcome his initial fears. He stayed with him and helped him to the top. We know have a young man who is proud of his achievement. Once again many thanks Stefan.
A. S.
Bday surprise by my wife and had an awesome day. Friendly staff and well worth doing if you haven't. Also well done to Della who was our trainee guide for the day who did an excellent job.
D. H.
Me and my work colleagues climbed the 02. There were 12 of us. It was a great team building experience that's accessable to most abilities and very well run. Plus with all of the bars and restaurants in the 02 itself there's no excuse to not have a few celebratory beverages after it's a done.
H. J.
Was an amazing experience that I would do again and again. Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time and only had 4 in our group! The staff were ALL absolutely lovely and I couldn't fault anything!
S. L.
£35 may be a bit pricey but it is a great experience. The whole thing takes about 90 minutes. You get a full safety briefing and a guide with you the entire way. Coming down is a lot scarier than going up.
D. M. Y. U.
Walked with my brother for hes birthday and I thought it was going to be boring but quite the opposite. You have a small introduction and you go straight up and its quite steep but manageable and you get to the top which you stay there for 10 or 15 mins to take pictures my brother opted for a can of come at the top which is very expensive for a tiny can of coke but needed it after all that walking. All in all it was a really good experience and would say if your thinking about doing it or buying it for someone's bday then do it you wont be disappointed.
Hope my rant helped someone
A. G.
An absolutely brilliant experience. The staff were fantastic and the view was something else. Not really done anyth ijng like it to compare!
It's not as hard as I thought I'd would be but totally worth the day out. I'd do it again in a heart beat.
J. J.
Fantastic experience. Wish it lasted longer. Probably would be rubbish on a rainy day.
H. L.
Climbed up the o2 and it was such an amazing experience! Ross our guide was great he knew where there were lots of sights to point out. Defo an experience i would recommend for those thrill seekers! would do it all again!
P. M.
Did the climb over the top. Well organised and careful team.Good feeling to be at the top and get such good views. As a reasonably fit 72 year old did not find it over strenuous.
M. J.
Great experience climbing the O2 with our guide Linda. Amazing views at the top and a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
J. C.
I absolutely loved the experience. I loved the mental challenge and the view was amazing.
C. D.
For our 9th wedding anniversary my wife and I decided to tackle the walk up and over the O2 and add a celebratory glass of champagne at the top.
You have a set time to make the walk and you get a short video presentation on what to expect. Next you get fitted for special walking shoes, a light jacket, a harness and safety device. More on that in a bit.
The shoes are comfortable and the jackets and harnesses get fit to your body well. Once you are set with your gear you walk out to the starting area and up to the top of a platform where you begin your accent. There are two lanes for you to traverse. On one side all the participants walk and on the other the guide walks. They alternate sides with each group so they have equal wear. Now as for the safety device: On one end is a locking "D" ring that hooks up to two safety points of the harness and the other end slides along the cable that runs between the two lanes. In order for you to move you must actively push the cable end forward. If you don't you won't move. Also, if you let go for any reason it will lock in place on the guide cable and prevent you from sliding back or off the walkway. I will admit I am not a super fan of heights but I felt completely secure in this set up.
As for the walk itself, it's a pretty steep incline to start and so you need to pace yourself. The walkway is suspended above the roof of the O2 so it will wobble a slight bit due to everyone's foot falls on it, but it's completely manageable. After you go up about half way to the top it starts to become less steep. Eventually you reach the top and it's a platform to see some amazing views of London and the surrounding area.
Once you start your way down it's more of the same but you'll want to be even more careful because there will be slightly more pressure on your knees and the balls of your feet since you are going down hill. On this side you go all the way down to the pavement so the incline is greater for longer. I wish they could extend the walkway past the building when you go down to lessen the incline, or just put in a slide.
Regardless, it was a really great experience and a great way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to our guide Liam for such a wonderful excursion and keeping us all safe at all times.

Thanks to the instructor Stevie it was AMAZING, he assured me throughout and looked after us all well. I told him I had asthma and he made sure to keep eyes on me. He was funny and made the trip a worthwhile experience 😊

Was lucky to have great weather for our climb. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Climb physically fairly easy, views impressive from the top. Would have liked to have spent slightly longer at the top though.

Awesome experience. Glad I did it.

Superb experience, our guide was excellent, great views from the top. Make sure you arrive in plenty of time as per instructions on email (15 mins before climb time) as they are very strict on timings, if you are late they will not let you climb.

Took my granddaughter and grandson for their birthday present. Well organised. Although scary still great fun with great views up top. Coming down was harder than going up.

Highly recommend this if you are after a new experience in the form of a fun activity where you get all 3: Physical involvement; not much effort exerted and amazing pictures. I did the original climb and the guide was very friendly; he also took endless photos of us (upon request) to the point that we had to tell him to stop!

Amazing amazing amazing experience honestly once in a lifetime opportunity which everyone should take. The views were great, the climb was longer and harder than I thought but the end results were magical

Would definitely recommend and if you get a nice clear sunny day its perfect

Our family (with two kids 11 and 14) really enjoyed the climb! The views are stunning and you are strapped in similar to (what I would imagine) a mountain climb so there is no fear of falling. There are parts where it is fairly 'steep' …

Brilliant experience with fantastic views of the city

I've done this twice. It is a fun experience hut it's just a shame there is so much new building works happening as it blocks out some good views. Still something to tick off a bucket list, especially on a sunny day.

Amazing tour guys, Rebecca, she made me not scared to go down the stairs

OMG....brilliant birthday treat. Fantastic weather, view and a tour guide that kept us motivated. She had a good knowledge of the London views. It was well organised from the begining to end. We walked up at 7.15pm and what a great time of the day to do it.

The experience was out of this world with guides Rachel and Mark. The experience was you can feel the climate breeze what a knock out and once you arrive on top champagne smiles. The best yet Orlaine and Carla

Interesting experience, help and support from the team is excellent for nervous or challenged climbers

Had a great time with the family. The climb wasn't easy (I'm not fit) but I made it which I was very proud of. Next time we go to an event at the O2, we will probably do it again and make a day of it.

Staff at O2 are lovely. So kind and thoughtful. Pub grub is great. I highly recommend a visit. Tonight it's Eric Clapton for The Royal Marsden Hospital for Cancer.

Well worth doing for a really enjoyable experience and a different perspective of London

I mean it was freezing up there.... But that's really my fault for going in the autumn. It genuinely is an incredible experience and I recommend it to anyone. Even if you have a fear of heights it's not bad
