Reviews of Kirkharle Courtyard
J. B.
Cracking place to stop off for a coffee and browse the artisan shops.
Have a few quid spare, there is lots to admire and purchase.
Highly recommended. Best without children IMHO.
C. R.
Beautiful coffee and delicious food served by lovely waitresses in a most fabulous setting, birthplace of Capability Brown. Recommend the walk around the lake and visiting the many small businesses it supports.
Thank you.
P. R.
Nice bistro/artisan cafe along with some interesting craft workshops - good for xmas gifts!. There is a nice flat walk (about a mile) around a lake. Very popular with cyclist as a stop off point.
M. B.
Had soup and a ham sandwich, soup was great, sandwich wasn't. Bread was normal brown sliced (asked if it was crusty before ordering and was told it was,) ham certainly wasn't fresh and the garnish was well past it's best. So a bit disappointed, lovely setting tho'

twice visited Peter Philips studio. Experience was good. Claire and Peter Philips were a very good help In choosing a picture for our living room. And which pencils and canvas for a present. A lovely couple. Would always go back .xx

A little golden nugget in the northumberland countryside. Lovely staff and lovely food. Encouraged us to sit inside with our guide dog pup in training even tho no dogs allowed in the cafe. Couldn't have been more helpful. Great little shops on site too. Will return soon
D. H.
Good value, and good tasting food, nicely presented, though service could have been a lot quicker - we waited half an hour for what should have been a quick lunchtime snack. Will return but in the hope that they have been able to recruit extra staff.
D. F.
Beautiful spot. Stopped with my bike for coffee and cake but will bring family back when weather warms up. Also - dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas and lakeside walks.
J. B.
Good food and really friendly staff. Pro tip: it can feel like no one knows you're there if you're in the 'far section', but there's CCTV so someone will be along, although it did feel like they were one person short the day I was there...
D. G.
One of my favourite lesser known Northumberland places. Kirkharle is a place of historic interest: it was the birthplace of Capability Brown the 18th Century landscape gardener. There is a range of shops, workshops and a very welcoming cafe on-site. In keeping with the history, there's a well-designed walk around a lake, great if you are visiting with a dog or two.
It's all very well thought out and there's plenty of free parking. Kirkharle is probably overshadowed by Wallington, on the other side of the A696, but you could easily visit both in half a day. And if you just want an interesting way to break a journey, stretch your legs and have something to eat....Kirkharle is ideal.
W. W.
Excellent coffee and scones, friendly staff..... All pretty much ruined by noisy arrogant cyclists who seem to be regular visitors, such a pity.
T. C.
Lovely place to wander round whether shopping or just for the lake and garden walk.
V. R.
A great place for young children. The café caters for them with a separate menu. Lovely safe play area and an excellent walk around the lake. The shop at the café has a sheet for scavenger hunts and fabulous packs for children to complete observations which are free. I was very impressed
R. D.
A very nice location. Café with indoor and outdoor seating and table service. You pay afterwards in the adjacent shop, which has nice (if slightly pricey) produce. Several small shops are located on site and there's a small playground for children.
A. H.
Nice place. Lunch here was very nice. 2 soups, 2 cheese scones, a tea and a coffee. £21 so not too bad. All home made and nice.

Lovely, picturesque venue...
Difficult to get to on public transport though. We got the 131 bus from Newcastle, nearest stop was miles away, and a difficult walk in 27°C, along a road with speeding traffic bombarding you. 😳😰
Luckily, the venue was cool and the band were amazing (the Belta Reivers), so... the sweat and blisters were worth it in the end.
Also, we would've loved a cold beer on arrival, but this wasn't available. We understand that's not everyone's thing, but y'know... it's ours. 😉
Despite the remote, hard-to-get-to location, and lack of a bar... we highly recommend this place. 🙂
*Edit: Thanks to the owner for responding. 👍🏼 Indeed, we didn't know that cold beers were available in the Coffee House. Good to know. 🍻
We did ask in one of the shops, and they only had bottles on shelves (none in their fridge) and the assistant wasn't sure we were allowed them in the concert venue so we didn't risk it.
I'm sure we'll be back at some point... next time with friends who drive though. 😉

We called in here today, we went to the café after a walk around the lake, my wife had a chorizo wrap and a pear and elderflower drink, I had a capucchino with a cheese scone with bacon (the most amazing taste and texture ). We shall definitely return. It was a very pleasant experience.
Visited today for a concert in the 14th century church and was well entertained by a wonderful string quartet followed by tea and a scone. Amazing experience, can't wait for the next one.

Birthplace of Capability Brown. Excellent coffee and cakes and lunches. Craft shops selling hand made artworks, original paintings and decorations for the home. I was impressed by the stained glass on sale at the glass barn studio and purchased a glass curve depicting a tree with red berries, "Are they cherries?", I enquired, "They could well be", was the reply. I found it to be very effective on our windowsill with the natural light behind it. Brown's Lakeside larder sells speciality food, I invested in a packet of almond and fig crunchy crisps, which I'm sure you would struggle to find in your average supermarket. I suspect limited footfall will always be a problem for these enterprises which I feel deserve to be a success.

Absolutely wonderful highly recommended shops food first class visit at your earliest convenience, can't wait for Christmas specials
P. H.
Nice cafe with a good menu and helpful staff
E. F.
Great coffee and fantastic selection of goods and ideas for Christmas in shop attached.Very helpful friendly staff.
P. W.
Called in for a coffee after we had looked at the car show that was there. My husband had a toasted tea cake, and I had a cheese scone and bacon. Which was a scone with bacon in the middle. It was absolutely gorgeous I could have eaten 2 of them, it wasn't a very big scone but definitely will have another one when we next visit. Staff lovely and friendly and very clean. We found though it was strange that we had to go through the cafe to the shop to pay.
T. A.
Many years since I have been here. First place I went in was the Gallery, a very large selection of pictures to look at. I bought 2 after speaking to a very helpful member of staff.
Called into the Cafe for drinks and we were served by really helpful and friendly staff. Will definately be back.
L. H.
Very attractive and diverse arts and crafts shopping experience, located in the birthplace of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in beautiful Northumberland countryside.
Delightful easy 1km walk around recently completed landscaped lakes (based on a Brown design with modern emphasis on biodiversity). Major Roman remains and Hadrian's Wall nearby.
N. P.
Lovely coffee (and scone!) at the cafe then interesting to browse through the shops: excellent for gifts and cards.
J. R.
Stopped off by chance to find a hidden gem.
Great little restaurant with yummy ploughman's lunch, lovely walk around the retail units and the lake, well worth a visit.
C. R.
What a great place to break the journey from Newcastle to the Scottish Borders. We had an excellent scone and coffee, enjoyed a walk around the lake and the gallery and shops.
c. a.
Food was outstanding and the stuff are very friendly
A. W.
Lovely place to visit and nice lunch in the cafe staff really friendly 🙂 …
J. O.
Delicious soup and cheese scone. Good service and value for money.
j. d.
Nice little place to visit for a walk around. Not huge but has everything you might need. The cafe was brilliant and food tastes amazing. There are also a number of small studios and galleries on site with some skilled and talented artists displaying their work for sale. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit.
T. F.
A lovely place to find on our journeys around Northumberland.
Delicious coffee and smoothies and an interesting brunch menu with kippers and Indian egg crumpets.
So good we visited twice both in the morning to sample the menu. The breakfast buns were tasty with bacon, sausages and egg on offer. The cheese scone and bacon was scrummy and I'm told the eggie Indian crumpets were unique. We also felt obliged to sample the cakes which didn't dissapoint with fruity scones, rhubarb Victoria sponge and pineapple and coconut cake.
The entire site was very interesting with the story of Capability Brown from his young life through to his skilful creations of landscapes and gardens of the gentry.
Several workshops are also in situ with very talented artists demonstrating and selling their crafts and paintings. A lovely few hours spent mooching around.
A. R.
Don't think it is as popular as it used to be, but nonetheless had a good visit
A. M.
Coffee very nice but when coming to pay the bill you have to go to another building stand in a queue behind shoppers to pay.
Asking to pay for 2 coffees which had already been processed on the P.D.Q it showed as £6.27
When querying the odd amount I was told it 57p service charge.
As I was given no bill showing service charge I think this is very sharp practice.
I wonder how many people have unknowingly paid 10% extra?
We won't be back.
G. L.
had a walk around really interesting sights to see worth a visit if you are passing
M. F.
The birthplace of Mr "Capability" Brown, now much demolished but with a very interesting collection of artists doing their things in the remaining barns and buildings. Selling paintings, carvings, stained glass and numerous other wares.
There's also the start of restoring Mr Brown's first landscape based around a lake which offers a pleasant, not too long stroll to work off the excesses of the lovely tea room...

An interesting place to visit but it could do with more shops being open.
H.
Gluten free traybakes (honey buns) and scones were lovely.
Friendly, helpful staff.
It's a beautiful tranquil spot. We were here in April 2021 so everything is table service and outside but there's plenty of space and they haven't stuck to minimum distancing which made me feel wonderfully safe.
Plenty of cycle parking and toilets were open too. Fab.
D. L.
Great to see places like this adapting and offering families spaces to explore. Appreciate the fields are in use for livestock but we've been to places where they cut a grass path around the field and have wild grass growing for kids to walk and see wildflowers and insects etc. The pathway could be in a loop but from above it's maybe in the shape of northumberland or the angel of North for example ?
J. S.
Lovely food. My first visit will definitely go back. Worth a visit.
D. A.
Found this place by accident on our way home from a Northumberland holiday. Lovely people and food. Interesting place. Worth a visit.
N.
Lovely place to visit, should be advertised more.
D. T.
Absolutely beautiful garden very interesting information boards around truly beautiful
M. G.
Great spot to stop for a coffee and a snack. Lovely, friendly staff and an interesting shop with local produce
K.
Great stop off on the A696 to and from the Borders. Good place for breakfast, brunch or lunch or a coffee and traybake. Can stroll around the craft shops or walk round lake restored according to Capability Brown's original plans..He was born and worked in Kirkhale.
M. B.
Had tea and cake outside in the courtyard on a beautiful sunny day. The staff were very polite and pleasant at all times. We had a wander around the lake as well as a look into the retail shops on the same site.
G. L.
Lovely meal in sunshine at the cafe and then a relaxing walk around the lake
J. H.
I haven't been to Kirkharle for years, and probably won't go again in a hurry.
I appreciate we're just coming out of lockdown, but everything seemed a bit half open and tired.
The hot chocolates at the cafe were adequate, but the cheese scone well undercooked.
On the upside, everyone was friendly and had a positive vibe. The young lady who served us at the cafe was excellent - very attentive, but not overbearing.
M. “. F.
Menu is a bit different including wraps. Gentle walk and small play area.
P. L.
Another visit en-route to elsewhere and it's very much worth a detour. Food is excellent and coffee sublime. all the staff are lovely and friendly. I cannot fault this place.
C. S.
We popped over for a look at the classic cars this weekend. What a treat!!!! So well organised, a really warm and lovely welcome from everyone in every part of the courtyard. Very impressed indeed. Topped off by amazing weather too!!
R.
Had a lovely late lunch here today. Been once before and have been very happy both times. Lovely food and friendly service, what more can you ask? Would recommend 👌. …
J. P.
Lovely cafe with pleasant helpful staff and excellent food. Interesting small craft businesses on site
C. R.
Lovely place to visit. Lovely food and friendly atmosphere in the cafe (don't sit next to the window on a sunny day!! It's a sun trap and red hot! 😎) Nice walk and slightly more unusual shops which is nice. I'd definitely go back. …
R. G.
Great atmosphere excellent staff, thoroughly recommended
S. M.
Lovely little set up of unique arts and craft. Some of them are workshops with shops attached.
Great little coffee shop too
F. B.
A nice refreshing cuppa stop during a wee trip out
E. M.
We often visit here with family on the way to wallington Hall as let's be honest the food is much better here!
Im not sure if it's a new thing or not but we visited yesterday and noticed there is now a discretionary 10% service charge! We don't mind paying this but we had a coffee (mocha x2) and it cost £9.35 and this was only while we waited on family to arrive to have a meal
Also since when do places charge more for decaff?
However I will say the staff are great and all are friendly! We will be back again just maybe not as much as usual!
I.
Pleasant experience mainly level several shops and nice garden to visit
G. F.
Coffee shop really good even better when offered refill on the coffee food was really tasty recommend. Nice looking shops but we were there some weren't open whilst we were there.
T. P.
Lovely location, you can take a stroll around the lake and pop into some of the little artisan shops. The food is lovely in the coffee shop a good selection, staff are lovely and the service is good as it can get busy. There is a lovely seating area outside to have your refreshments when the weather is nice.
F. C.
Wow, lovely selection of little shops. Caters for all types of art lovers, from big painting and cards, through to items to paint yourself. Gifts for all occasions, well worth a visit.
s. g.
Staff are very nice.
We had scones and tea, scones were beautiful and builders tea to wash it down. Just perfect.
L. N.
Iwas a little disappointed as I had heard good reports. I just had a fruit scone and tea , the scone was over cooked in fact it was a little crisp with very little fruit. Iwill go back again and give it another go ,fingers crossed .
S. R.
A nice place to visit with a good coffee shop. The walk around the lake is very nice. The only issues are the lack of shops, maybe it was the time a year but a lot of the units seemed to be empty. When we were last there, around 7 years ago, there seemed to be more. Also, some of the produce I purchased from the farm shop had passed it's best before date.
I would probably visit again, but maybe I'll wait till the summer.
C. S.
Lovely find and nice food. Staff very welcoming and dog friendly. Had run out of a few things which was disappointing but plenty to choose from.
D. T.
Stopped off here for cake and coffee whilst out in the countryside. Nice food, good service and lovely surroundings. We will definitely visit again in the summer.
H. B.
Only a quick stop here, as an alternative to more commercial services. Would love to have stayed here longer to look at all the crafts, however we enjoyed some excellent cake and coffee.
E. G.
Very beautiful clean family place.
P. M.
This visit is not a fair representation of what this venue has to offer. The coffee shop is currently being refurbished and extended. However, the reduced coffee shop service was effectively presented. Several of the retail outlets were empty. On each of my previous visits, the retail outlets were all occupied and I imagine as the year progresses the vacant properties will get tenants. The coffee shop was excellent and will no doubt be of the same good standard when the extended facility opens next week. I will definitely return to check out the revised facilities.
P. G.
Lovely place and worth a walk around
D.
Nice place, several different opportunities to buy unique products, from art to food.
Good cafe with friendly staff & a menu with lots of choice.
If you're travelling any distance it's worth phoning the store you're most interested in. All of the businesses are run by the owners and I've arrived previously to find one or two have shut up shop on a quiet day.
J. F.
Fantastic lunch and it was very tasty
G. L.
We had lunch at the coffee shop, which was good. I didn't get to go out to see all the shops but the grocery shop was stocked with some very exclusive looking products. I also remember one time I came before where the jewellers refinished my wedding ring for free, which I thought was very generous
V. D.
Fantastic little gem of a place. Lovely walk around the gardens and gorgeous coffee shop. We will be back soon.
M. G.
Lovely scones, a good cup of tea and good service that is friendly and quick. Plenty of seating available both in and out, we opted for out, eating with the birds. I have mobility issues and managed to get around easily.
T. M.
I visit Kirkharle when I stay on my sister-in-law's farm. It is such a peaceful place. There is a short walk around the lake with seats where you can sit and admire view. There are some shops in the courtyard and a quaint food shop with local produce including biscuits made in the courtyard! The coffee shop is great with amazing cheese scones.
B. W.
Excellent restaurant and food shops. Sorry to hear about the flood in the jewellery shop. I'm sure it will soon return to order, has some fantastic pieces of work to buy. Good presents to delight all. Enjoyed it on all visits I've made. Thank you.
S. L.
A peaceful have with a variety of unique craft shops. The Courtyard cafe provides some lovely home made food to suit a variety of diets.
P. H.
Nice coffee and brunch
r. h. (.
Nice run out to here good arts and crafts lovely cafe staff are lovely great Cappuccino red hot and taste great . nice food would highly recommend a visit
J. D.
The cafe was excellent. Some of the craft units were closed but the glass studio and art galleries were interesting. Definitely worth a coffee stop if you are in the area. Also of interest as birthplace of Capability Brown.
J. W.
Beautiful place . Lovely food and staff . Very restful . Some lovely local crafts .x
S. H.
Attended a class here to make a canvas, lovely little craft shop & Wendy who owns it is so talented.
P. R.
Friends who live in Blyth, Northumberland, took us to this venue as a day out sightseeing. Despite the February weather being dry but windy the advertising of this venue did not live up to what was promised. The shop was quaint with artisan pieces in it for sale but the prices were excessively high. The coffee shop was not dog friendly which considering the remoteness of the venue being in the country and offering walks within the grounds, people are more likely to have dogs with them so to block guests from using the coffee shop seems at odds with the Country being very dog friendly re tourism. I was told that the coffee venue is being taken over by new people so this policy may change. Some of the artisan shops were open with a mix of customer welcomes. Some were very sweet some just weren’t too interested in lifting their eyes off their desk reading material. I wouldn’t return in too much of a hurry at this stage. I was more taken by Lancelot’Capability’
M. H.
Off the A1 craft/art studios. Set in rural surrounding where Capability Brown was born. Small gathering of studios, pricey probably to many. But worth a look, some very talented artist. There is also a small lake inspired by Capability Brown to enjoy a small stroll. The cafe is well managed and serves lovely home cooked foods. Worth a visit.
L. R.
Interesting house run by National Trust. Lovely grounds. Usual gripe, lots of older people visit NT properties but there is a lack of seating outside. We often can't walk around the grounds as we'd like.
C. R.
Lovely place to stop for coffee and a meal. Felt very Covid safe. There are a number of interesting shops with lovely handcrafted goods.
P. J.
The cafe has improved so much since our last visit. Excellent, food and service.
j. c.
It was a nice place to visit, will visit again and do the walk around the lake!
H. M.
Beautiful courtyard of buildings, with a lovely little café / restaurant. The buildings contain craft shops and artist's workshops, open to the public, and set out for public view.
Nearby are walks and a small lake with places to stop and paint watercolor
R.
Not a lot of shops there now and some specialise, but did find the muddy duck very pleasant and bought some nice jewellery.
H. S.
Eclectic mix of coffee shop/restaurant, farm shop, and arts/crafts studios. Lunch was fresh, prompt and served by friendly staff. A quick detour off the main road and worth the stop. Minus one star for weak tea.
J. W.
Set in beautiful countryside... Worth it just got the drive out. Good social distancing in place. Lovely place to stop for a cuppa and a lovely slice of cake
J. F.
Love this coffee shop, visited on a Tuesday very picturesque where Kirkharle is,very friendly staff would recommend worth a visit.
A.
Nice cafe and coffee shop, some artisan shops and a deli. A walk around pond type garden set in the style of Capability Brown who I believe was born there. Dogs welcome in the grounds.
M. S.
Visited this countryside restaurant for lunch before taking a trip to the South of France from Newcastle Airport. Enjoyed a tasty homemade soup and a fresh baked roll. Also enjoyed a home made cake and coffee.
A. M.
Disappointed - went for a walk with the dog - but nowhere to get a warm drink as coffee shop has taken in the outdoor seating and will not allow dogs inside.
E. M.
It was warm and comfortable with a good variety of food, and tasty cakes and scones available. We had had a long journey and this was a welcome oasis. Thank you.
P. W.
Great for a visit. Unusual craft and art shops. Great cafe. Lovely gardens.
C. B.
Well off any main roads. Plenty of seating areas. Loads of places to leave bikes. Very reasonably priced and lovely food. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff.
R. O.
A lovely place for relaxing and meeting friends for a meal or walking one of the numerous short hikes. Famously designed grounds by Capability Brown. Well worth a visit.
P. F.
Lovely coffee and peppercorn shortbread. We then walked round the lake. Only takes 15mins. Menu looks good so will be going back to try lunch
G. T.

Disapointing portions and very expensive
G. H.
Interesting craft shops and a nice cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Signposted walks from here too.

Very nice spot which we visit frequently. Good coffee shop, and the decor shop is brilliant. The walk around the lake is also lovely.
P. L.
Great place to escape from the weather. Warm and welcoming.
J. P.
Wonderful experience, delicious food, friendly staff
S. A.
Could add more veggie brunch options, veggie sausage etc. Also water on tables and background music. Lovely venue and great walk around lake.
L. A. E.
Stunning little place with cafes, shops and lovely walks nearby. There is also a beautiful lake with a circular path.
M. D.
When we visited the place was only half open with a few shops open and half closed. There is a craft shop which we visited where you can book a workshop and the items on sale were mainly hand made and clever. Recommend s visit there if you go.
G. C. B.
Nice cafe with a number of small craft shops, worth a visit, Church is well worth a look as well!
S. R.
I have been going to this place for years. Yummy cafe the food is lovely and reasonably priced.

Lovely set up with friendly staff and good shopping experience.
J. R.
We had a wander round and the cafe looked nice but the products were too expensive for us
S. B.
Great food and lovely staff who always make you feel welcome. Perfect.
K. M.
Beautiful place. Great coffee. Freshly baked scone was beautiful. Only criticism was I prefer raspberry jam to strawberry. Rhoddas clotted cream, yum! Reasonable prices too.
d. b.
Great place to visit and see where Wor Capability was born.
L. W.
Nice food, lovely surroundings, be aware that having cream in your coffee rather than milk will cost you 15p extra
P. L.
Pleasant place to shop. Restaurant was nice and staff pleasant
D. H.
Pleasant walk around lake, however some areas have been left to go wild which seems out of place for a Capability Brown space. Fewer shops since our last visit.
J. K.
I found Kirkharle a very restful place, with good food and nice shops and art gallery, the next time I an up this way I will be popping back
D. F.
Great food at the café. Good shopping options.
H. B.
Small play area for children, craft shops and farm shop doing takeaway. All open except for cafe due to covid.
N. C.
Country style shopping in a beautiful rural setting. Plenty of unusual arts and crafts, foods and of course a nice cafe for coffee, snacks and meals.
R. H.
since I was hear last in its early days it's maturing nicely and love the vision and history of the place been the birth place of Capability Brown some interesting shops to visit as well
J. C.
First visit but will be back in the warmer weather to explore more.
K. S.
Friendly and good quality coffee shop.
M. M.
New to us today but we were happy with service. Not a large variety on menu but adequate. Just off A696 on the Hexham road.
A. B.
Crafts, Culture and history, coffee and cake. Great little place to visit. Though probably best visited in Spring/Summer. ⛄🌞 …
A. R.
Great place to buy local items, have lunch, go for a walk and find out about local history
a. r.
Great food. Beautiful courtyard.
Nice staff.
S. H.
Fantastic cycling stop for lovely tea and best scone ever. Food menu looked deliscious .....next time!
M. A.
We went to Kirkharle Courtyard to visit the craft shops and have a cup of coffee. Its well worth a visit there is a walk around the lake.
J. F.
Capability Brown the designer of many gardens and estates for the nobility and wealthy was born in Kirkharle and learnt his trade in the surrounding area. Trouble is it only has a small retail outlet with very little mention of it's famous son.
Far better to visit Wallington, lots more history in much more to do. Wallington is only 5 minutes drive from Kirkharle
D.
Stopped for lunch. The food was very good. I was disappointed that the shops have changed considerably since my last visit.
J. W.
The scone was very nice and staff very attentive. The temp in cafe was a little on the cool side today . Will be back.
m. s.
Very busy today we had ham and tomato sandwiches very nice proper ham with fat on!!! Lovely lattes all in all a very nice lunch
P. C.
Lovely cheesy cheese scone and hot latte. Cheerful staff.
A. O.
History, crafts and good food all collide in one delightful venue.
C. P.
Lovely place for a day out, crafts people at work, unique gifts, many affordable and be sure to visit the church
F. S.
The cafe is as lovely as ever, great scones. A few more units rented out would be good!!!
M. A.
Canny little craft ensemble, with a nice cafe.
Y. F.
Its a shame that a lot off the units are not occupied. Miss some of the special shops
R. H.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! What a lovely relaxing place to visit 😌 …
W. D.
First visit. Definitely go back .
Nice place
P. C.
Lovely cafe. Interesting craft shops. Lovely food shop. Nice lake, still maturing.
Y. t. B.
Outstanding place to stop by on the way to Scotland. They serve a great lunch prepared with local ingredients and the staff is very welcoming.
K. B.
Lovely cafe/restaurant with outside courtyard seating. Table service was good, coffee a little burnt but okay. Brown's shop a disappointment, too sparse. Other shops/artistic courtyard shops also a disapointment. What would improve the whole experience would be a butchers, grocers and bakery selling local produce. The Capability Brown walk is great and in 30 years will be spectacular. It's a great new enterprise, that's finding it's legs. Worth a visit.
