A reliable and trustworthy tradesman - which is difficult to find these days. Paul spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with me up front considering options and the best solution for me. I decided on a new heat only boiler installed, in comibination with an unvented Megaflow water system. Paul provided a quotation and earliest start date for the job. The job was started on time and Paul worked exteremly hard to complete the job in 2 days. Paul takes pride in his work and is extremely knowledgeable. I can't fault the work that has been completed and I would recommend to anyone. Paul thanks very much again, keep doing what you are doing :-)

Paul replaced an old Ideal logic 12 with a worcester bosch greenstar 8000, very happy with the service, Paul is very informative and answered all my questions. an excellent experience and did a very good job on the boiler and cylinder, the pipework around the boiler is very neat too which makes it nicer to look at. would definitely recommend him and I will be using him again for future services.

It’s taken me 21 years to find a heating engineer prepared to take on my house and wow, what a find! Paul Taylor. Super friendly, reliable, communicative and tidy. Paul will treat your project as if it is his own. He allows enough time to do the job properly and if that means taking the difficult route to get a better finish, he will. Has tremendous knowledge and can explain things in such a simple way. I had 4 quotes, Paul was the only one to notice the faults with my current system and flag up potential hurdles with forthcoming industry changes. I really cannot rate Paul enough. Paul was recommended to us by a friend when our boiler needed replacing and right from the initial phone call it was clear we were in good hands. He talked us through a number of different solutions weighing up effectiveness, cost and level of disruption in a way that was detailed and informative yet easy to understand. The job was completed quickly and efficiently and exactly as quoted - and a number of pre-existing unrelated issues were fixed in the process. On top of that Paul is a great person to deal with - honest and responsive to any queries we had, not to mention a pleasure to have around - our 1 year old and 4 year old were sad to see him go! After having done some research on boilers decided I wanted a Worcester Bosch boiler due to excellent reviews and reliability. Called Paul as he was listed as a Worcester accredited installer. He came out last week to give us a quote and kindly fitted us in before Christmas. Paul has done an excellent job with the boiler, and fitted new flue in loft. He also altered gas pipe outside by gas metre as he said it needed altering. Paul is very knowledgeable and it is clear he knows his trade. He gives lots of good advice and is happy to answer questions you have. Above all Paul is a nice bloke, he instils confidence in you that you have met a good tradesman. Been quite hard to find in my experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul to anyone.

Paul Taylor was recommended to us by a friend when our hot water packed up. Paul came out pretty quickly and conducted a thorough survey of our hot water and heating system. He quickly identified that our hot water tank was beyond repair and that our boiler was leaking. Over the course of three days, Paul removed our old system and replaced it with a modern (and relocated) boiler and water tank. From the moment he arrived we had complete confidence in Paul. We both needed to be out of the house for work and had no hesitation in giving him a key to the house. Paul bought in an electrician who's costs were included in our quote. The job was completed on time and on budget and we are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the system itself. On top of all this Paul is a really nice guy, and easy to get hold of. Throughout the job communication was excellent. We shall definitely use Paul again (although hopefully not too soon!) and would be happy to recommend him.

In the last 2 years , we have had Paul come out to us twice. The first time was after finding his details as a Worcester Bosch approved installation engineer where we needed a new Worcester Greenstar boiler fitting. He was very competitively priced and was quickly available to accommodate our requirements and was also as easily contactable out of hours with a couple of minor issues promptly resolved. After this, we then more recently needed our old hot water cylinder replacing where he again answered a call to his mobile first time and provided a very keen price for the full install which also needed most of the pipework re-configuring as well as needing a new the pump (clearly showing the issue with the old one) and actuator valve. We therefore would highly recommend him and where he has since been available at the very time of calling him to offer some advice as to an issue which proved a simple fix over the phone. Paul came to fix our boiler but unfortunately as he explained our boiler was beyond economical repair. He explained in detail why this was so and we found him to be very knowledgeable. He was also very helpful in as much as he could not replace the boiler himself in a timely manner due to existing commitments but he found us an alternative heating engineer who could fit us in. Would definitely recommend Paul and its a shame we could not have him install our new boiler as our needs were very urgent.

From the moment I opened the door to him one thing was clear: Paul Taylor is a pro. In a polite way, he takes charge; he tells you what's possible, what isn't, what alternatives exist, the labour time and the amount of disruption involved; your quote will be in your inbox by the end of the day. If you give him the job, he does it exactly when he says he will for the price agreed. Absolutely nothing leads me to suspect that this professionalism isn't replicated on every job he does. More than that, however, Paul is an interesting person to talk to about each and every aspect of construction, planning, engineering etc. - my partner even engaged him in long chats about family matters. As I said to him, the ability to communicate with clarity and intelligence is what separates good tradesmen from the best. You'll struggle to find better than this fella.

Just had a new boiler fitted by Paul. I'm always sceptical about tradesmen as I am a keen diyer, however, he explained the issue well and gave a number options available to fix the old boiler. Although the best option was a new one he managed to install a new one the next week. The work carried out was good quality. No messing about just got on and did it. Great job. Will recommend.

Highly recommend Paul from TAYLOR Plumbing and heating. Completely trustworthy and knowledgable. We had a complete new boiler rehoused in a new position from downstairs to upstairs - a big job. Since then we have had other plumbing jobs done and wouldn’t consider anyone else.

We decided that we wanted to replace our ailing Boiler with a Worcester-Bosch. These are often recommended and fitted by British Gas. We had a very expensive quote from British Gas, So we looked for a registered Worcester-Bosch installer and found Paul. We got a lot more sense from him than British Gas, he has a can-do attitude and listened to what we wanted to achieve. He came and fitted a Worcester Greenstar 34CDi Boiler ( the model up from what British-Gas had quoted for ) at a significantly lower price. So we got more Boiler for less money. He fitted it in 2.5 days flat, removing the old one too. He made a really neat and professional job with a minimum of new pipework and mess. He also came back to tweak the position of a plastic pipe to give us more space in our airing cupboard for us for free. I'm very pleased with both the Boiler and the job Paul did. Superb. I have no hesitation in recommending him and I'm hoping we can get him to come and fit radiators in an extension too.

Paul was really great, he spent time reviewing the situation, gave me good advice and then helped to put me in contact with Worcester directly, as it was the cheapest option for me. Our boiler broke, I called several local people and had a real problem getting anyone to come and actually take a look. Some tradesmen did eventually turn up however the quotes they provided were laughable. I had a short conversation with Paul on the phone and he quoted me over email without even looking at the job. Paul did what we wanted, pulled out the old boiler, patched up the wall, removed the old water tank. Fitted a new combi in the loft complete with all fixtures and fittings. Paul came to our home at the agreed day and time. He was there for a total of 2.5 days. His work, clean tidy and proffessional. One of the few people around now who I would advise to call. 5 Stars for this guy, he quoted, he did the job as asked, no fuss no mess and no problem, Thank you Paul

I would recommend Paul in a heartbeat. He communicates well, explains the process and isn’t pushy. He turned up when he said and even let me know when he was running late. The job wasn’t as straight forward as some, requiring a fair bit of pipe installation and re-workings, but he didn’t let it trouble him. He had the tools and knowledge required.
