F. F.Smiling, welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble. Warm, vibrant atmosphere. The carvery was great too! Huge plateful, beef and turkey cooked as they should be,not overdone, plenty of veg. We used our Groupon voucher there and my partner asked if it was too late to get another and go back again! But the menu is so reasonably priced, it didn't matter. We'll be back! Thank you to the owners who work so hard and actively participate in the business.

(.Staff are incredibly courteous and attentive, the restaurant was very charming with Christmas decorations and festive music, but sadly the food was very disappointing, though I am only speaking about the Christmas lunch. I was expecting proper off the bird slices of turkey, but it was processed pre-sliced meat that was quite unpleasant accompanied with hard peas and carrots. The pudding was very cheap tasting too. I would be willing to try a carvery at some point in the future but unlikely to have Christmas lunch there again.
R. S.The website stated that no bookings ere necessary for lunchtime meals. When wearrived at 12.30 the carvery was fully booked!!!! We had to make alternative which was OK but not what we would have liked.
M. B.I frequently eat at the restaurant and always enjoy what's on offer. The staff are friendly and always look after us - especially as we have a 6 month year old daughter.
C. R.I remember going here about a year ago when there was some kind of a party going on. There is alot to explore in the ruins and the woods but sorry to say we didn't go inside apart from to go into the toilets which were nice and clean.
