Brilliant place! Kids loved it so did the adults a big 👍 from us. £1 each for train rides, cake and drinks everything £1 😁
Nice seating booths where you can see the train go round whilst being sheltered. Very friendly people working / volunteering there. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

Brilliant morning out today . The were thoughtfully enacted covid precautions, which enhanced, rather than detracted, the experience.
Model railways to view, Light railways to ride, great food and drinks.
A gem, and a credit to the volunteers who run it...

We’ve had many fun afternoons out here. Great value, loads fun for all the family. Really friendly and knowledgeable volunteers, always friendly and chatty. We love the train rides in all weather! (Meeting Santa by train was extra special for the kids!)
We normally finish the visit with a nice hot drink and a slice of homemade cake in the station cafe! Highly recommend for ages 1- 101!

Great volunteer run railway.
They have a double loop miniature railway track around a green with railway memorabilia.
The FLR have made great efforts to make this place covid friendly with pods and tea Room. Great value for money for a quaint place with allot of heart

Went to the Halloween event and whilst the weather was poor everyone was having a great time due to the enthusiasm of the volunteers who run this...

Myself, husband and our children absolutely love coming here and do so nearly every month. The whole team are just wonderful and the cakes super tasty. A super value time out with the family at just £1 a ticket for the train and £1 for a big delicious slice of cake. We will absolutely be back once it's the right time to reopen :)

My children love it here. Lovely little place. Train rides only £1 per person. Mini track for little trains for little ones to watch too. Lovely people, the cakes are all homemade and £1 for a slice. Perfect for a fun few hours.

I have never been to an attraction that has received so many five star ratings. These reviews are fully deserved, it is a wonderful place to spend a few hours or even all day !!! Keep up the good work. Ps. I love the cakes in the cafe.

Fenland light railway is a hidden gem. There are so many good things I could take all year to write them down.
The volunteers are what make it so incredible they are so helpful, so friendly and so incredibly kind to give up so much time for others.
I've had 4 parties here over the past few years each one has been easy to plan as Chris is quick to respond (despite working full time and this being a hobby) also very accommodating. He never wants to let people down. On the day they have opened early to help and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone stays safe and has fun. All my guests have left very very happy!
On their normal running days they are just as fantastic. I'm very partial to the awesome homemade cake and cuppas whist the children go on the train!
They have fantastic special events the santa special is well organised and brilliantly executed.
If you haven't been go it's fantastic and ridiculously cheap!

Free entry. Brilliant day out for young & retired children. Train ride well worth the £1 ticket. Facinating model railway in the middle of garden to amuse everyone. Enthusiasts polite & very friendly to visitors. Wide range of home made cakes in the cafe. Little shop. Toilets. Disabled friendly.

If you are a 3 year old, train-mad child, or the the parent of one there aren’t many places more magical than this one. We have been so many times I’ve lost count, and the happy excited look on his face will keep me smiling even when he’s long grown up. That this is created simply, thoughtfully and modestly by a group of volunteers is amazing. Thank you for so many happy days

We have taken or little boy here, on almost every running day for over two years, he is only just over two.
If you want to measure the "good" in this place, I will say this. Or little man is regularly in hospital, and has endured more bad days than most of us adults. When he is in hospital, he counts down the days to the next running day. And when the doctors need to put a new home in him, we watch videos and look at pictures of this place, it's his happy place.
All the staff know him, and have even learnt baby sign for thank you as he signs as well as speaks.
"Good" isn't good enough to describe it.
Come and share our happy place.
