A fabulous place to visit if you love plants. There's lots of different areas to enjoy and it is so well kept. The views are spectacular too! It is a bit of a trek up the hill so best to book parking if necessary.

Wow what a beautiful garden, very well kept. It is a hidden paradise! Absolutely breathtaking views and a wonderful selection of interesting plants. Great nature hunts too to keep any children entertained. Due to the hilly location it might prove challenging for anyone less stable on their feet.

Absolutely loved our trip to the gardens. Staff were super accommodating, venue is beautiful and looked after extremely well. Has one of the best views of Salcombe estuary and the coast. Highly recommended and on the 'must see' list when in Salcombe

Gardens are beautiful with a great variety of tropical plants, trees and flowers. Disappointing there is no cafe or shop. Very hilly too, but also stunning views. Just a takeaway drinks hut.

Pleasant day out in an interesting garden where (in my opinion) native plants are mixed with some more exotic ones.
If travelling by car, the walk from the NT car park is about a mile with the last bit down to Overbecks more of a trail than a path.

Great place to spend a morning. Lovely gardens with great spaces to stop and rest.
A few short walks in the gardens

A sub tropical wonderland. Quite difficult to get to and at the top of a fairly steep hill, but worth the trip. The car park is pretty small so I'd recommend arriving early.

Beautiful gardens, friendly reception. Home is closed at present but great coffee and food is available from the Gastrobus. Well worth a visit.

Nice garden bit of a hilly walk but no problem. Difficult to find and very small car park, so arrive early. Lovely views

Lovely garden well worth a visit. Getting there requires navigating some narrow winding roads but worth the effort. Car park is on the small side and is directly adjacent to the garden and not a mile away as someone else mentioned in their review. No cafe on site but small mobile refreshments cart with food, coffee and cold drinks.
Definitely worth walking up to the coastal path for the most amazing views. When leaving the garden turn left and walk up the path between the wall of the garden and carpark. Walk for about 4 mins until you see stairs on the left which will take you up to amazing coastal views. I suggest walking to the point which is about 5 mins from top of stairs.
