Sadly don't have any photos but always a lovely time here! Been in for breakfast, coffees and laptop study breaks. Very friendly staff and gorgeous place (especially when the sun is shining through the windows). Would love to go for some art class things sometime too!

My review is mostly about the pottery and the lady who teaches there,Tweeny. She is absolutely amazing at what she does, she has a great selection of courses to suit all needs, she's extremely patient, knowledgeable and funny, as is her second in command, Louise. I'd highly recommend booking classes if you want to learn about clay, throwing or ceramics. Ocean studios in general is a great hub for creativity, events, and it has a really lovely coffee shop. Definitely a gem in Plymouth.

Lovely place to visit - great coffee and pastries. We visited on a Saturday and they had a local makers market on with stalls inside and out - really lovely products for sale. Lots of outdoor seating too.

Great location at Royal William Yard. My visit was for a painting class upstairs from the café area in a lovely space with good natural light. It's available to hire. The food down in the café is good as is the art on the walls. It's very popular as a coffee and snack stop so be prepared to wait if it's busy! Vegan and vegetarian food is on the menu too.

Real Ideas Café and Gallery, with nice atmosphere to enjoy cafe and cake. Ocean Studios has a large sun-soaked courtyard, bright and beautiful café at Royal William yard Plymouth, and Gallery space which hosts regular art exhibitions, and a retail offer where you can pick up pieces made by local makers and south west creatives.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful location in the Victorian grandure of King William's Yard. The main studio is a large, first floor, loft that was once one of the storage rooms used to hold Royal Navy supplies. The decor is trendy-shabby-chique; stripped floors, exposed brick work, distressed wood paneled ceiling and a host of original features like the giant loading doors and iron roof supports. Great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

A real great exciting place to be ,am currently here with Tec stairs business start up weekend all with great people who are the life and soul behind events such as this ..so if your in Plymouth pop down to William yard and try there sausage rolls ...
