Lovely garden. Lots of different flowers/ trees.. nice walking

Some of the most beautiful views of the Englefield House grounds that are well kept and managed.
The historic Grade II Listed Building commands an elevated position in the grounds.

Just seen the fabulous Tom Jones. Weather was also perfect. Still sitting in the car park one hour after the event finished. They definitely need to get this resolved for future events. We've not moved an inch! No sign of a high viz jacket to advise either.

Beautiful wooded and formal gardens, worth exploring for a couple of hours. Small children's play area currently closed. House not open to the public.

Beautiful hotel but service needs to be sorted out

Peaceful and quiet, ideal for famillies. Vast variety of plants and flowers, not to be missed in spring. Scenic views

Fantastic day out for family picnic. Children and older people loved it.

We did not visit the house, only the gardens which were fabulous. Some daffodils remained but bluebells were just coming into flower. The gardens and lawns were well maintained. Deer could be seen grazing as we enjoyed the view from the terraces.

The house isn't open just the gardens & on Mondays only. Suggested entry fee £5 per adult & children free. Parking next to house & garden.

Really beautiful place. I did the 10 kilometres event here. What an amazing event. You get to see the whole grounds and get a medal. The route is quite hard, it is hilly and undulating under foot. I am working on the estate water system in the deer park.

Surprisingly good venue for a conference! Good WiFi in the hall, and amazing tapestries on the wall. Didn't get to go round the gardens as they were closed that day. But they looked superb. One thing to note: Google's SatNav directions were not good as it tried to take me into the park via two closed exits. I did a three mile circuit of the estate before finding the main entrance (which is on the main road between the A4 and Tidmarsh).

Just been to the madness concert. The concert itself was great, got to see Madness the lightning seeds and another supporting act the tailormades. All were fantastic. Now the bad bit. Food and drink prices were extortionate .£5.00for a can of San Miguel and and£7.00 for a sausage. Now the even worse bit absolutely no organisation in the car park to point you to the exit. Been over an hour and no sign of seeing the exit.
Concert excellent. As for the rest pretty poor .

Went to see Tom Jones. Excellent apart from event organisation. It was appalling. From car parking going in to coming out. They even removed all signage for the seating before the main concert started so nobody knew where their seats were. They did the same with the car park. Spoiled a nice evening

Lovely views across the Kennet Valley and some interesting little structures to see I the garden.

Went to see Tom Jones really great

Wonderful concert in the grounds. Tom Jones gets 5☆ but restriction on bringing in our own picnics and drinks is unacceptable.

Grew up close to Englefield around 6 decades ago.
Having been granted to place a Geocaching Adventure Lab cache I decided to create the experience at Englefield. Have since closed the Adventure Lab down after taking a lot of flack on it. Englefield is still a great place to visit and explore for yourself though.

Went there for Madness.
Great setting with the house in the background.
Well organised event with the exception of the drive out. A bit chaotic.
Would go back to visit the property.
