Great public beach that is a little bit further out the way than all of the tourists to the area, so its a bit more peaceful. Also great for a long walk down the main beach front wall.

We felt that this beach warranted a second, day trip visit from the Midlands which says it all! Quieter than the Witterings and with plenty of close, convenient free parking available (check out side streets) this place is great for families, bird- and nature-spotters, artists and photographers alike. At high tide, a long, wide sea wall provides an interesting and attractive walk. This is wheelchair-friendly. The beach is shingle at high tide but at middle- to low tide reveals gorgeous, soft, golden sand. There are small fishing boats at the top and a great variety of colourful marine flowers. A true gem along the South Coast.

High tide so only shingle, however a good sea wall to walk long, also suitable for wheelchairs. Interesting sea birds, with star fish washed up on beach,they were having a feast. Sea far too rough for water sports. Good car park, pay and display.Great anti-litter sign.

A very nice, English scene. I was in great company, the sun came out ,the sea was yards away as was the pebble beach and yet we were able to walk on a paved causeway. Terribly pleasant and strangely moving. Strong sense of local and national history.

Lovely day at Selsey's East Beach. Very relaxing. Great place to walk your dog. Climbing frame, swings and slide for little ones and Skate park and cycle track for teenagers. Good kiosk selling ice creams, snacks, teas and coffees and public toilets also.

Lovely place to visit offering a nice walk along the sea front and a well equipped stop of point for all types of refreshments aswell as good food. Plenty of seating around a park/recreation area with a skate/scooter park included.

This is a good solid public slip. With the right vehicle it is possible to launch and recover at all states of the tide. It is important the you are aware that it does become quite steep towards the end. For this reason strops may be a good choice, along with wedges to stop your vehicle from slipping. When wet, such slippage should be planned for.

A beautiful stretch of coastline with easy parking. Plenty of fresh fish and shellfish available from the local fishermen. Parking is easy. This is a shingle beach but there is sand once you've swum out a couple of metres. It gets deep quite quickly and doesn't have the sand banks of the Witterings or expanses of shallows like Bracklsham Bay. So you need to be a competent swimmer. The tide can run fast here, not as fast as a East Head though.

Really you have a review option on a slip way, ok! It's a wooden steep slip way over a pebbled beach. Okay if you want to launch small watercraft. Not sure of the local regulations.

Nice place for a stroll along the seafront, sea food stalls / food Hut and a fish and chipie just round the corner or a great place for a picnic on the green.
