Love it here. Visit anytime we can. When tide is out it’s a beautiful walk along the beach to west witterings or even if the tide is in the walk along the top is just as good. Views of Portsmouth and Isle of white can be seen from the beach

Spent my childhood growing up on this beach, you really cannot beat it, great for surfing, wind surfing, kite boarding, it has a pub, an ice cream shack and also fresh fish shop what more can you possibly want

Nice place but too many dogs on the beach

Put in Marine Drive, East Wittering for parking. £5.60 for whole day. Parking charges finish at 6pm. Lovely town with nice eating places. Co op and tesco also available for sandwiches. Charity shops and various clothes and surfing shops.

Lovely large pebble and sand beach with very little shingle. Quieter and cleaner than its West Wittering neighbour. We had a lovely day, however there was a lack of facilities like toilets near the beach.

Great relatively quiet pebble beach. Sandy when the tide goes out. Good for relaxing as it does not get as busy some of the other local beaches.

Amazing beach, is absolutely brilliant to visit!

It is a pebble beach, and can go into water. I enjoyed a lot. There is no toilets around, however there are pubs and local shops nearby which you can use. Parking available nearby area in streets at free of cost.

Nice quiet family beach. Lots of shingles and hard for elderly to access water. Despite dogs being banned in summer no one seems to know. I was bitten by a dog that was off the leash and just casually walked up to me and bit my knee, luckily not hard enough to draw blood.

The beach is nice and you can walk over to West Wittering where the beach is exceptional. However, East Wittering has the better vibe. It has a good collection of local shops, an awesome surf shop, a couple of good fish and chip shops, and some great cafes, restaurants and bars.

Although stoney when the tide is up, mid- to low tide reveals wonderful golden sand. This beach is clean, safe and family-friendly. Children shall love climbing on the breakwaters. By utilising residential roads only a very short distance away, parking is free and without time limit (but arrive early at weekends!). East Wittering Beach is only a short walk from the dunes of West Wittering where free parking is non-existant. Also, East Wittering offers a selection of useful, day-to-day shops. I have known this place for sixty years and it has very little changed!

Quite a lot of stones as you enter the beach but it really is a beautiful spot to visit. The carpark has limited space but there is food and drink available at the carpark. Enjoy sitting by the beach or some lovely coastal walks. A good place to surf of kayak

Nice pebbly beach with smooth fine sand revealed at low tide. Great for dog walking.

At low tide a wonderful expanse of sandy beach. Unfortunately it is not possible to walk on a footpath along the top of the shingle except in a few places. This makes it more difficult for the elderly, infirm, wheelchair and push chair use. The shingle is steep down to the sand, and very few places to get to the sand without negotiating it. For the more able it is lovely.

Shingles beach. Gets very busy during the long weekends in summer so prepare for long parking (in/out) queues.

Pebble beach at high tide, sandy beach low tide. Great place for a swim and to just bathe in the sun. There sadly not much parking sometimes and it's surprising how quickly you can get a ticket if you park in the wrong spot.

Went here after a lockdown was eased. Water was clean and it was so much fun. There is parking right next to the beach, reasonably priced. The only downside is pebbles instead of sand.

Lovely beach. Not as sandy as west wittering but just as nice. Good cafe and parking. However no dogs from I think May to September seems a bit OTT. I could understand July and August.....

Not much to it, just a long stretch of pebble beach. It was quiet when we visit because it was so windy and had been raining. There is a cafe further down from where we walked, but we didn't get that far. Probably great in the summer and when the tide is out.
