Needed a boiler service doing. Called up, answered straight away and an appointment offered for the next day. I ended up asking for one a couple of weeks later which was fine. Got a text around half an hour before he arrived (on time) and service took around an hour. Pictures at the end to show what had been done which was interesting to see, friendly throughout (even though I did forget to offer them a cuppa!) No hesitation in recommending him and will use him for the next service.

Steve (and apprentice Kyle) are great. First of all - booking is easy and the lads who take the booking are very helpful. You never have to wait too long for Steve to be able to come round. Steve fixed our boiler - was friendly and reliable and explained everything. Our gas bill has actually now reduced when everyone else’s has gone up! He has also installed a gas cooker for us. I would definitely recommend The Boiler Doctor Acomb - such a relief to find an excellent plumber after ringing loads who are always too busy.

We discovered a leak in our boiler just a couple of days before going on holidays. From a referral on Facebook, Steven got in touch in no time, assessed the situation and sent us a quotation within just hours. He listened to our concerns and suggested solutions. He came in and changed our boiler in a matter of hours without causing any mess. I phoned to ask Steve to have a look at my heating system as there was a slow leak and the boiler was losing pressure regularly. Hayden took all my details and then called back after speaking to Steve to book in a time to visit. They fitted me in very quickly the following day which was ideal. Steve and Kyle arrived on time, checked all the radiators and flushed a sealant through the system. I have dealt with Steve before and he is definitely my go-to person for plumbing and heating problems, always great to deal with, attends quickly and sorts out the problem.

Our boiler died and Steven came to the rescue. He quickly quoted and installed a new Ideal combi boiler for us that soon warmed the house up. The installation was quick and efficient with Steven protecting carpets and stairs whilst undertaking the work. After the installation was complete he showed us the various features of the boiler and how to use the timer. Steven is also Covid aware working with mask as required. We would highly recommend!

I contacted Steve to give me a quote on replacing an ailing vintage central heating boiler. He turned up and was very helpful in explaining all our options in a clear and factual manner. This was a refreshing change from other people we had dealt with. It has taken quite some time to find a plumber that can be trusted. I needed one urgently for my parents and after asking around Steve was recommended to me by several people.
