Not been over Northlands park in many a year. Wow how it's changed Congratulations to everyone who makes the difference. Including the café.. Great latte 😋

Great recreational area, really beautiful. Plenty to do including two play areas, skate board ramps and a basketball court. Fishing free on the lakes and platforms around lakes for ease of use. We'll surfaced around main path but also lots of off tarmac areas. Great little cafe that takes card. Free parking. Ideal for children and families

Good dog walking area, cafe that is open some of the time, has two fishing lakes, kids play area and toilets, they have recently up upgraded the fishing swims and connecting paths, as well as the bridge across the west lake to access the far west swims

Fishing not so good today park very good but cafe shut couldnt get nothing to eat plus shut toilets to early i leave at 3.0 clock and they already close

Northland's park is great for families of all ages, it has plenty of wide open green space to play and enjoy picnics, play areas for the children, basketball and football court and a skate area! It's great for fishing also, what with the large lake that accommodates many and there are bird wildlife that you are allowed to feed! There is a also a cafe but it is basic although the staff are extremely friendly.

Lovely park! My daughter loves it, we spend between 1 - 2 hours on some weekends. The cafe is great, a little pricey but it's worth it! The views of the two lakes and fields are lovely, especially in the summer! Lots of wildlife around! The cafe sells duck food for 50p a bag, which is also good, we always grab 2 bags for £1 to feed them when we go. Nice day out here during the weekends or school holidays, always packed and very busy but has loads of benches around the park to sit and chill too. My daughter and i both enjoy going on strolls too!

Lovely in daytime for dog walking. Fishing..feeding ducks and swans ..Park for toddler's separate Park for order kids toilets and refreshments available...exorcise bike...jogging...But night time can be dangerous crime and assaults have been known to happen.

Perfect location for a pleasant walk around the lake, walk the dogs over the green, kids to play in the variety of play equipment and after that buy a cuppa tea and chips :)

Beautiful park, 2 wonderful fishing lakes, lots space. Lovely small park area for children but lots space for walkers, runners and family days out. Shame some dog owners don't respect it and pick up their doggy poo (lot do but there's always the odd ones)! And please, if you take stuff to park to eat/drink, use bins provided or take your litter home with you.

I did park run here a couple of weeks ago, the park is nice, park run is as they all are,,, very friendly, I had a very nice chat with a lovely runner. I like Northlands Park and lovely runner 😁

Northland's park is one of the best parks in the area now the council has started taking more care of it. Still parts of this park need some TLC, but around the lake is good for a walk.

Urban Gem. Well maintained, gated kids play areas, skate park, basketball court. Lots of benches and bins. Fishing areas provided, lovely for dog walks, strolls, exercising. Cafe with toilet, lots of wildlife, even dog poo bags provided! What more could you want from an urban park!

There's a large lake with regular fisherman, and a cafe that serves ice cream and hot drinks etc. There is a bigish car park. It does have a bad reputation and it's not uncommon for police to be called there. Some areas around the lake are very secluded and are not always safe. However the playing area is good for young children with picnic benches surrounding it

Is known for bad reputation at times but has lots of lovely little field and woods areas to walk dogs, just don't let them in the water though as it's known to contain bacteria that'll make them ill. Also most regular dog walkers here are lovely and friendly with sociable dogs 😊

I grew up near northlands Park so it's close to my heart. In terms of facilities; café with toilets that seems to be open most of the year. Children's playground (fenced). Skate ramps. Fenced football/basketball court. Free parking. Excellent venue for sledging when it snows. Open space for football or kite flying. Two fishing lakes (cafe lake is the 'match' anglers lake but still lots of carp and numerous double figure fish to over 20lb. Road lake is specimen lake with at least one carp that regularly weighs over 30lb). Good pike and bream fishing also. Seems to have host numerous events during the course of the year. Only let down is it does occasionally attract a bit of crime and the wrong kind of people but I dare say most days you would never have a problem.

I use the park every sat morning by volunteering at basildon parkrun. Great atmosphere. Friendly people and plenty of fresh air all free. Park is for all age groups - fishermen dog walkers or sit on a park bench & while the hrs away plus cafe & wcs

Such a beautiful park, unfortunately so many houses going to be built in the near future around the park and the park will not going to be the same, that's a shame.

Lovley clean park with loads to offer. Kids are never bored here. Lovley skating and play area plenty of benches around lake.

Does have a lovely lake used to be used for fishing but has been taped off due to uneven surfaces. This has a small cafe, lots of benches to sit on and around the park. Great for kids, has playing area, great for dog walking and just having a stroll.

Overall a very nice park. Could do with some more shady spots around the actual play area. We came for a picnic and had to clamber around a wilting tree for shade - it wasn't ideal. Toilet facilities and the little café are great for a local park. Loads of grass to play on. Plenty of activities for kids. It is a good park.
