Reviews of Snow Hill Station Car Park
M. A.
Ideal place to park if working in or around the Snow Hill station area. Recently bays have been painted giving it a refreshed look. The stairwells and other areas could do with similar treatment.
Plenty of spaces at 7am even on a week day, this may change as Covid rules relaxed. Car park open every day inc Christmas Day. But is charged daily bar Christmas Day itself. Car park does get shut at night so if you miss the cut off time you can't retrieve your vehicle. So make a note on your phone and set a reminder.
Can pay by coins or using the phone number. Used the number twice now and all done smoothly. After first time the automated system remembers your details ( if you allow it ) and phone number so already knows your reg Mark. Parking fees are reasonable considering where you are, try getting the same deal in London or Manchester?! Some space given over to electric vehicles with charging points. And a flat rate of £1 for motorcycle parking. There is CCTV but I'd still use a good chain and disc lock for your bike and keep your valuables hidden!

Really convenient place to park for central Birmingham, with competitive pricing. Good size spacing for larger cars and lots of available spaces. Stairwells could do with some fresh paint but all in all good for Centre of Birmingham parking.

Clean. Locked at night. Traffic wardens on patrol.
We've been able to park here for free during the lockdown. It's just a 5 minute walk away from work. It has been wonderful to be able to park here.
Will miss it after June 21st.
Have always felt very safe parking here.
Thank you Birmingham City Council Xx

In a great location. An old 1960's carpark so spaces are tight for modern cars. Pay and display so you have to pay in advance which is a pain if you don't know how long you'll be away from your car.
D. B.
Parked overnight . Car park secured 23.30 unntil 09.00 on Sunday morning . Ideal location for all city centre attractions.
S. A. (.
One of the better car parks in Birmingham city CENTRE. The usual issue with most Council owned car parks is one needs to pay first.
d. c.
I don't like having to pay for parking as soon as I get there, I'd rather pay on my return as I don't always know how long I'll be.
A.
Closes at 1130 which is either a blessing or a curse.. Gives you an excuse to leave the bar early to get out of Brum I suppose
W. L.
Well kept car park ideal for disabled users because its free
M. L.
My go to car park for Birmingham visits, always plenty of space and very open areas, well lit.
R. K.
Super easy to find, the car park had many spaces, very close walk to the centre and easy to pay on the ringo app. Went here for my first visit to Birmingham and it was a good choice rather than paying lots for selfridges car parking.
K. C.
Easily accessible car park, relatively cheap prices, central location, 10 min walk to bull ring shopping centre.
A. L.
Prices are good tho you'll need lots of coins or you can pay by phone. Took 1/2 an hour of driving round on a Wednesday lunchtime to find a parking space. Stairwell smells like a public toilet. Good central location and saw a parking attendant going round which is reassuring.(Please click "like" if you find this review useful)

Payment via app or coins.
Good lighting and clean. Fantastic location.
Parking bays are small/tight.
I drive a medium sized vehicle. The car on left was parked touching the kerb so more room to open door. I had parked next to them really close to the pillar (wall space, reversed parked). When I got back another car had parked the other side of the pillar and I couldn't squeeze in the pillar gaps ! I had walk around another car and luckily they had left a gap against the wall.
A. K.
Not a bad car park offering ample parking with a surprising price considering its smack bang downtown Birmingham. Payment can be done via Cash or App and its easy to get out and in. It can be tight in a few spaces but overall its ok.
There don‘t appear to be any lifts so if you are right up the top be prepared to walk down some stairs
T. R.
Very good local parking area when visiting Birmingham
E. M.
Great deal on a Saturday, £3 for 5 hours. Easy to navigate and park, but no lifts so it's steps up and down. Well kept however, being clean and stair wells while not smelling like spring dew aren't as bad as many car park stair wells.
R. G.
Good place to park whenever visiting Birmingham. I go there Every Two to Three months to have my hair done to a fantastic salon I've been going to for many year's. Best to get there early. Only downfall each time charges very expensive. Also you have to have the correct money. You are right in the centre close with things. Town is spread wide alot of walking. Shopping back to the car if u go to the bull ring would be heavy depends what u get. Light stuff easy. Bit steep to drive into it but once in it perfect for me anyway.

We came her yesterday, to go the the steam train. Please note as in previous reviews the machines only take coins if paying by cash. These consist of £2,£1, 50p,20p and 10p. Definitely no notes or cards which is a shame on this day and age.My husband and I managed to scrape together £12 but my sister had to use the pay by phone parking method, which took time and it's a good job we had time to catch our train. On the way back some cars had tickets on so be aware, it's not worth it. It is pricy , but safe and very convenient especially if you have children with you as we did.
J. a.
Misleading price info on website, anyway easy to get to using Google maps on my phone. felt safe to park and paid around 11 quid to park 24 hours we were 9 hours and the most hours are 6 or 24 hours. You can pay with card if you have a mobile to ring with. Went to the top for views of the city. Right by a train station. Cctv. Lots of spaces.
K. S.
A car park but £25.50 for about 10 hours parking.
You decide if the prices are acceptable.
V.
The stairwell to this car park is unpleasant and I wouldn't use this place on the evening for that reason. The car park is a decent size with reasonable parking space sizes for the city centre. There is no lift. The parking meters can be hit and miss!
S. P.
If you've got to park in Brum, this works.
J. F.
Was going to put only 3 stars, but, as it’s completely free for the disabled, with no time limit & plenty of blue badge spaces, I’ve added another! This place desperately needs a lift! Rolling down the ramp in your manual wheelchair is a little dodgy to say the least - however - trying to get back up it? I had to call my brother to take me to my car ...in his car!!
B. R.
Generally speaking car parks tend just to be car parks! The best you can say is that they're conveniently located, and easy to access. This one has those features, pluss it's actually reasonably priced.
T. E.
Convenient car park to get to bullring and new street shops on a weekend. £3 parking for 5 hours on Saturday. Car parking spaces can be narrow. Limited pay machines though.
J. D.
Very safe and secure.
S. L.
£3.50 all day for sunday! Pretty central so good location and seems quite safe. Roof is better as spaces are bigger
L. M.
Erm ok
P. R.
Very crowded nearly got squished to death. Overall it has a nice view of Argos and good parking if I do say so myself.
K. S.
No wonder this car park has won awards! Spotlessly clean, well light, big spaces and not stupidly expensive. It's weird I know but I love this carpark!
S. M.
Never had issues parking her from a security point of view. It is quite expensive but it's on the city centre si it should be expected. Central location Tu the main city as close enough to the shopping areas too.
g. p.
The parking is central, but the paying machines only take coins. So make sure you have enough coins. It would certainly be better if you paid when you were leaving
R. B.
It's a good sized carpark and secure, but it's pay and display...which seems abit outdated for a central birmgham carpark of that size! If you don't have change it's not that convenient.
K. C.
Good location and east to manoeuvre inside but could be cheaper for long stays: currently £8 for a day if you want to park 9am - 5pm.
M. O.
As a blue badge holder we found it easy to park clean well lite good excess for wheelchair users and free allways a boness
M. M.
Good covered multi-storey car park loads of spaces competitively priced that’s very close to the town centre.
D. T.
Wish it had a lift.
I. L.
It appears to be a safe well lit car park. The prices though are too high for day parking and a season ticket appears to cost more than the equivalent daily rate.
B. L. C.
It's a car park, if you book by telephone double check you registration when the automatic voice recognition listens to you, 1 number or letter you will be fined.
L. E.
Alright as car parks go, but a bit fiddly when you first use the app. Once you have gotten used it it is easy enough.
A. L.
Car park has plenty of spaces especially near the top. Could be better priced and stairwells smell of pee.
C. L.
Easy to use pay and display car park. £5.80 for 4 hours . No 3 hour option.
S. A.
Good thing they accept ringgo mobile payments now
M. N.
Convenient location and payments can be made using the app, by phone or at the machine (you would need to have coins)
K.
Too expensive like all Brum city centre car parks. Good location though
R. W.
Great central location , You can pay at machine for up-to 12hrs and if you want longer just phone the number on machine and select time required and pay that way , simple
S. M.
Practical car park, easy to pay for via the app, handy for the city centre and colmore business district.
Y. A.
Central location. I always prefer this car park in the city centre. Cash and app payment are available
S. D.
Bit tight on space for larger cars but very well placed for the town and reasonably priced.
M. C.
Great place to park to go to the city centre, slightly cheaper too than the other car parks! 😀
S. W.
Great location and decent prices. The app is very buggy though which is a shame. Time for an upgrade bham council!
A. F. U.
Clean, very very busy and the paying system if you don’t have coins is annoying
But good car park
H. C.
Easy to park, not too far from centre, easy to pay over phone for stay and right next to train station
S. E.
Expensive but secure parking out of the elements
Park outside after 7.30 pm on a meter it's Free!
L. M.

J. J. (.
Lots of parking. I think 4 hours came to £5.80 which is a really good price.
P. G.
Great location and very accessible...however the spiral staircase's will have you in a spin
A. L.
Always spaces available, close to the town centre and mobile payment available which is perfect.
S. S.

S. A.

I. B.
No card machine.
D. H.
Would highly recommend this company for all your parking needs.
D. B.
No elevator, but cheaper than others. Wheelchair access. Gate closed overnight

Good location to new street, good prices, but would be better if card payment or note payment were available.
B. W.
