L. S.This is a sign-see in town. Not much to do rather than photoshoot the statue. It is part of the local history, and it is worth passing by during your way towards the Harbour Side.
D. V.Good place to hang out or have a picnic. I'd love it if there were live music/buskers but as far as I can tell there isn't ever. There are also cute friendly birds.

R. F.Great location, short walk to university, really friendly and helpful staff, good facilities (gym, cinema, social area etc). A welcoming atmosphere, and a nice home for students. The rooms are also equipped with everything you need, and are a decent size.

A. A.A centrally-located accommodation with attentive staff, impeccable service, and excellent facilities (cinema, gym room, study zones - you name it!). There's a Tesco and Co-op just downstairs so grocery shopping has never been easier. It's also just a short 5-min walk to uni or the city centre so there is absolutely nothing to complain about!
B. A. M.City Hall is a nice plcae to visit in Bristol.
S. P.Large well-kept section of grass in the shadow of the cathedral and the council buildings.
Nice views in 2 directions, but not what you'd think of as a park, bordered as it is by a very busy street bustling with diesel-belching buses.
W. D.Beautiful place, it looks stunning lit up at night. They seem to quite often plant vegetables in the shower beds too, which is amazing. Gets quite busy on sunny days.

C. E.A nice communal green space, in the centre of Bristol, in the shadow of Bristol Cathedral and the Council Houses and fountains. There's often events through the summer months, cafes, bars and ice creams are usually available. This is at the foot of Park Street with its mix of independent shops and eateries.

S. K.My favourite! I love artificial water, and there's plenty here. Delicious open grassland surrounded by historic buildings makes this a lovely relaxey spot in Summer

E. S.College Green is a good place to sit and read or get some great photographs on a sunny day. There are skateboarders to watch (or join) and the council often provide a table tennis table.
The Cathedral is an interesting place to visit and you can shelter under the arches of City Hall if it rains.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby (I recommend Catch 22, opposite, if you are very hungry or the Birdcage or Woodes for tea and cakes).

I. B. (.The College Green is a lovely part of Bristol. A beautiful green space that is surrounded by the very impressive City Hall, Bristol Cathedral, the Bristol Marriott hotel and the Central Library building.
P. A.Great lunch spot for students and locals alike. You can bring a Frisbee and footballs and nobody seems to mind. Lots of kids skateboarding which is fun, and location-wise, the green is right by the harbour side and Park street .
V. E.Nice park. Smells of pot all the time, proving the unspoken tolerance of local authorities to weed consumption in public. Thumbs up, Bristol!

What's makes it lose points is the noise from cars and bikes along the road and the huge numbers of people milling around and camping leaving an awful lot of litter. Admittedly that may have been a one off, but did seem to spoil the massive potential of the space.

J. B.College Green is very nice! The main buildings around it are brilliant with the curving red brick one and the Gothic church. The field/green is a great place to relax under the shade of the trees on a hot day. It is set in a good area with places such as the waffle house across the road and more independent shops further up the street.

G. R.Lovely area in the centre of Bristol. The statue of Victoria is worth looking at outside the Marriot Hotel. We were here for a Christmas function in the Cathedral. We found easy parking in the College Green Car Park just around the corner.

M. S.College green has always been a gathering / meeting point for primarily students but typically anyone. All are welcome, located next to a Cathedral, shops, restaurants and other sources of entertainment.
