Reviews of Holmhills Wood Community Park
J. B.Nice wee bit of green space close to lots of different housing. Accessible for many. A main path with street lights connecting a couple of the areas, nice to see! A short wee walk.
D. M.Nice little community park with views over Glasgow. Not quite Cathkin Braes further up the hill but doesn't need to be. Good connection between the surrounding areas.
P. M.Some nice easy walking on well maintained paths. Great views across Glasgow and north to the campsie hills when you get to the top, you can even see ben lomond on a good day.
R. F.My friend and I have been clearing the woods from dead wood and rubbish left by others n burn it all on our brick surround safety fire as we clear 2metres around it, fox came right up to me... I smiled

E. B.Had a walk with the family there on Easter Saturday. It's a great place for wild life. Cold when we were there, but we all enjoyed meeting up and having some Easter fun.
P. N.Lovely place to walk the dogs with lots of other dog walkers too , close to shops and public transportation, grass and paths , some water also and close to cambuslang park for extra on to your walk , good for picnics and kids
E. B.It's ok, lost its wild appeal when they tore lumpsbout the pond area, now a distinct lack of the ducks etc that used to be there ..... They should had left it as is and concentrated on more formal pathing and a bin or two more for dog waste.... My dog still loves it though 🐕
H. P.Beautiful woodland park in Central Cambuslang with 3 ponds trails and paths most of which are accessible.
There is also a playing field great for dog walkers and playing with kids. Lots of wildlife including deer bats frogs foxes and birdlife.
K. M.Having grown up next to this Park, it has changed over the years from being a field with a mud trail through it to a nice community walk with a nice pond or 2 but its not a big park and reasonably flat if you stick to the paths.
