W. A.Nice and peaceful place. Good for walking your dogs. The castle on the other side of the lake.
S.Car park is mostly gravel and has a good 30 spaces taking you across the moor to the main centre or across to the Murdock castle could do with some more bins and a lot more info boards for taking it across the moor. Plenty of warnings to dog owners about dog mess.

A.This car park is invariably very muddy, and the main entrance has some rather large holes which cannot be adquately described, sitting as they do somewhere between pot hole/puddle and small pond. Nevertheless, on a busy weekend it is much more likely that a space will be found here compared to the main car park.
