Can here to do the parkrun with my partner. Nice little park, good for dog walking mainly, but can run, walk, cycle and have a bit of a afternoon out here at well. Loads of space in the park, but not much to here though. I recommend coming here once or twice but that's about it really.

1st time here with my dogs, great spacious areas to walk, sit, picnic, surprised at rubbish strewn around pond area. When bins provided. Great weather helped the afternoon of fun with our dogs. Deffo go again, with picnic next time.

Great Park with loads for the kids to do including woods to explore, play area, ducks to feed and there's even a stream for playing Pooh sticks. Lovely place to spend a couple of hours or so.

Great multi variety outdoor experience. Hey! Come here with your quad bikes, motorcycles, skateboards for some wild stunts and your wouldn't regret it. Well paved lawns and walk ways. I loved it here last time of visit! Tip: Park your car for free at Braunstone Shoppimg Center, grab some refreshments then settle at the park to enjoy the scenery.

Mosedale is a lovely spacious place that's great for kids. They can run around, play football, basketball, go into the playground and much more. Always nice and never overly crowded.

Absolutely beautiful park with so much history. We got to visit the secret garden today and after a year of visiting the park, we only just found out it has a small museum. I also found out that winstanley house which is situated in braubstone Park was the divisional headquarters to the U.S 82nd Airborne division in 1944.

Nice place for a walk duck, geese, swans in the ponds, fishing club there too, children's play area aswell only thing bringing it down is the litter which isn't fair as there are bins everywhere in the park hold on to your rubbish and dispose of it properly please.

We were in the refurbished hotel area in the middle of the park for a wedding. Function room was brilliant even the setting outside was clean and visibly great. Staff were polite and friendly - will definitely return here 👍🏼

Large urban park which is also home to Winstanley House. Grounds adjacent to the house are reasonably well maintained but the rest of the park is seriously neglected. Without volunteer litter pickers it would be even worse. I do wish this park received as much attention as Abbey Park. The latter seems to have a much larger contingent of grounds people managing the environment

Great place for the kids and adults and your dog alike, apparatus for doing exercises as well as a great walking area, for you and the kids and your dog if you have one. Their is also a pond to feed the ducks for the young and old. A path that goes the full length of the park. A big grassy area if you want to picnic or just relax. They have benches as well. Their is a parking area near the pond area for cars.

Braunstone Park is a beautiful place to Walk the dog or exercise. In a time when our open spaces are even More important to us than ever..it's just a Shame the Parks Department leaves the Disabled toilets permanently locked.

Plenty to keep the kids occupied with a tranquil lake and beautiful hotel that serves food and drinks. Skatepark is ideal for kids of all ages with skateboard skates and bikes. Outdoor exercise equipment if the kids haven't tired you out. Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Only because it feels less accessible for balance bikes and the drainage isn't great. Some broken glass but it was new years day. Hope it's not often. Still a good and the park is great for zooming around on the balance bike.

Absolutely perfect spot to get away from the city. It's peaceful, beautiful and within a walking distance, for those without a car.

Community park, kids play area, outside gym, large meadow area, duck pond. Great foot dog walking or just some time out doors, access friendly paths are mostly paved and the ground is very even in the majority of places. The geese here are fairly docile and mind their own business, moorhens, mallards and other bird life. Places to sit and relax, lots of regular bins and the council tries to clear litter as much as possible.

I love this park... but. I wish it had more paths for me to walk/run on. When I want to use the exercise machines my trainers and socks get soaking wet from the grass because it is wet a lot of the time. The paths that are in the park could do with a bit more maintenance too. It's such a shame because it could be awesome.

Braunstone park is fantastic. It's very good for all ages of children. All my grandchildren have played on this park. There are lots of climbing apparatus swings and an outdoor gym for the older children and teenagers plus it's suitable for adults. It also has a beautiful lake with lots of ducks and geese.

I take my dog out in this park on a daily basis. It's a beautiful park with 2 ponds with ducks and geese some people fish here.a gym a skate park and playgrounds for kids.it also has many benches and shaded areas to sit and relax. I think this park need to be look after some more. Certain times of the year the grass over grows so you can't see where your stepping but when it does have the treatment it needs the park is very nice especially to take your little ones. Great green space with plenty of space for football and outdoor activities. There are two parks which are great as well as some ponds to feed the ducks. There are tree stumps to climb and an outdoor gym as well as skater park. No toilets though and no place to get a drink hence not 5 stars. I was somewhat surprised by this lovely places in the middle of the park and also in that area of Leicester, not that I'm putting down the area. There are lots of entrances to this park but signage to car parking could be better. Picnic tables covered in graffiti and car park covered in rubbish. Park itself is nice enough, space to play football and some children's play equipment.

A beautiful park with various organised activities and events, including a small model boat lake, fishing club, weekly park run, football pitches organised at "the grove", model airoplane club, cafe and bar. restaurant and bar offered a Winstanly House. Plus swings outside fitness gym and skate park and a walk through the gardens.

The skatepark is a good size with lots of flat wide open space to practice. Not the smoothest concrete but some good ledges dotted about and a steep hip.

It's a nice place in the summer for a city park. Plenty of open grass, kids play parks, a hotel and stake house but limited parking near the lakes. There is a public loo but every time e go it's locked unless you have a disabled key. There are a couple of shops not to far away, and it's was lying distance to western park if your near the Hinckley road end.

Whether you are here for the ducks and swans or you are going to walk the dogs this park is one of the best parks every to be near to my house. The large amount of open space gives everyone the freedom to do anything or to sit down and escape reality large parks like these seem to be the best parks that exist because of the size. This is way loads of people should visit Brausntone Park even if the whether is really bad. 5 stars for this park There are lots of ways this park got five stars but this is how I got them 1.)size 2.)life 3.)the view 4.)distance from where I live 5.)accessibility This park does all those things greatly but 4 could be a problem.

Parkrun pt2 A freshly burnt out car on meeting point confirmed initial thoughts. Overall condition great though. After 3/4 way round small lake with ducks and other wildfoul was a pleasant distraction. Further around after the finish line a mutilatated carcus of a rubbish bin was scattered across the grass. Not high on country park list but some nice parts

Braunstone park is such a beautiful place to go. To get some exercise, walk the dog(if you've got one that is). Go for a stroll with a loved one, with the family, whatever takes your fancy. You can even see the walkers stadium from the top and the rest of the city, on a clear day that is. And!! IF you keep your eyes peeled you might see a red Squirrel.

I live locàl to the pàrk its great for a run or walk around and the kids love feeding the ducks, geese and swans on the two ponds. The exercise equipment needs upgrading so its the same standard as Abbey Park and Western parks equipment. The skate park is well used by kids and teenagers so that could do with extending so more space is available at busy times, this is the sort of thing that communities like Braunstone use so the council or lottery funding should improve what is already there and make the park even better. Toilets that are actually opèn would be helpful as my daughter's always have to go home when they need a toilet and after they built a toilet block it seems such a shame it is always closed !

I lived on the Braunstone Avenue facing the swings that used to be on the park....LOVED IT!!!! I can remember looking out my bedroom window at a fantastic snow covered wonderland at Christmas (we're talking late 1960's!)....My Grandparents lived alittle further down the Avenue facing the paddling pool (it was a very large one then, not the half of one it ended up as)...in the summer, we all went across with our trunks and towels and it was packed with people of all ages!!...We also used it as a boating pond to sail our yachts and clockwork boats...HAPPY DAY'S!!....My Mother could not understand why we played football (curby) in the road, when there was a massive park in front of us?...Kids!! My Mother went to Braunstone Hall School on the park when she was a child. I have been back recently and was alittle disappointed but then, nothing has the magic as it does when you're a child...It is still a beautiful park and I hope it will always remain one!!!

Braunstone park is a good park full of history, Braunstone hall was built in 1776 for the Winstanley family and In the 1820s Braunstone was known as a place to go fox-hunting and if you look past the surrounding houses you can still see the hunting land as painted by Charles Loraine Smith.
