A great park, it has a play area, free parking, lots of green space to play football and cricket and very pleasant scenery for walking. Also a public gym area for people to use and 6 tennis courts, all free to use. It's a good park that's often missed by many people.

Nice park, used to go as a kid a lot. Went for a walk with my heavily pregnant daughter so didn't get too far! Lol Lots of facilities, tennis courts, sports equipment and seating all over. But just have to dodge the drug dealers in the car park if you go tea time!

Such a lovely place for a nice, long walk. Colours change with the seasons as does the planting thanks to LCC. 2mins walk and you are in Evington village which has plenty of eating places, the Cedars pub with a great garden, fish & chip shop, Chinese takeaway and our favourite Nazar Turkish restaurant. Small & cozy with great food and friendly staff.

It's a well kept park, however, the Tennis courts are exceptionally tired and need to be resurfaced. It must be years (and years!) since they were last done. The play park and green space around it kept my 7yr old daughter happy.

Lovely spacious greenery place to walk along and do exercise in the park, had lovely separate little gardens there too recommend to visit. All are level and nice to walk around for everyone. There is toilet too.

Evington Park is a great place for everyone. It's perfect for families with/without children. Wether you're a couple looking for a romantic stroll or a quiet sit down in the park gardens or take your child/children to the play area for a fun time. It is a good place to take wedding photos too, as the garden has 2 white arches and some gorgeous flowers. The park is good for joggers as well, there's a mini gym section on site, a tennis court and a table tennis area. My son loves riding his bike there as well and he also looks forward to seeing the tadpoles in the mini pond. All round a this is a great park

I take my children here for the Sunday afternoon bicycle lessons. The staff are friendly and very hands on in helping the children learn. My son learnt to ride his bike here. They also have a large variety of bikes suitable for a vast range of ages/height suitability. Evington park itself is a really nice place to visit. The play area is good fun too!

This is such a lovely park and one of the best in Leicester. It has the formal layout near to the House with mature trees to put it in a nice setting, a nature area with a few ponds and lots of toads and newts seen in the Spring plus tennis courts, football pitches and a traditional meadow road verge which looks brilliant in summer and buzzing with wildlife. Going to this Park at any time of year will bring a new and enjoyable experience

A very large outdoor park with various activities provisioned for - from Tennis to Cricket. Has a toddler friendly play area that could do with updating though, using soft mats instead of wood chippings. Overall a nice and pleasent space to relax or exercise.

When the weather is good I use this park for exercising. It has basic gym equipment and it is available most of the time. Children can play in their own area with swings and slide. Several benches to relax. Small car park but it is usually only half full whenever I have gone there. I also use the Library which is nearby the car park.

The park in itself is wonderful as always. The flower beds are well stocked and look magnificent in the spring sunshine. There are public loos, free tennis, cricket AstroTurfs, outdoor gym and table tennis. The only downside on a sunny bank holiday weekend is the amount of rubbish left by fekless park users who don't have the manners to clear up their mess!

Great place where to take a walk or spend time with family or friend. Beautiful park where is possible to see different berry bushes as well and let your kids to taste them in summer when they're ready. And you can spend your day being active playing tennis or ping-pong.

Really really enjoyed to walk around. Who ever go will feel calm and comfort especially in summer time. I always go to evington Park and I recommend it to all family and friends. BUT ONE THING PLEASE KEEP IN MIND!!!! Please please please DO NOT SPREAD ANY RUBBISH OR ANY SMALL AND LITTLE PEICE OF RUBBISH.

Great if you love nature, tennis, badminton, ping pong, going to the gym, playing football and just generally going to the park with your kids. There is things for everyone and plaques to remember certain things such as the oldest tree in Leicester, an artist who carved trees in this park and the person who built it. Love it and it is the only park I go to. Not only that, they have nearby shops, a pub, a restaurant, a hair salon, a youth club, a library and a bunch of other things just down the road. Me and my whole family agree that you should go there and if you do, have a great time!

Very beautiful well kept but three stars because of dog owners unable to hold back their hounds on leashes, especially the young girls walking around with alsatians double their size which is very risky if you going with young children.

A small park compared to others but good for a few hours. If you don't live nearby there is a car park as well as lots of parking outside the park. On a Sunday you can sometimes catch a free adult/kids tennis session or kids cycling session. Includes a kids park at the bottom, a cycle lane and a small pond where you can see tadpoles forming into frogs.

This park has a little more to do with a children's play area and a outdoor gym area. Before you get excited it isn't a real gym just some bits material you can apparently workout on. It has tennis courts and a football pitch which is cleverly put on a hill. Yes, the pitch isn't straight! It is a basic park.
