This is a nice park when the weather is good. Great in the winter for sledding, great in the summer for picnics or taking kids for a walk. There's a brilliant trials bike track, which used to be a BMX track that my dad built when I was racing back in the day. The kids playground is a bit run down and old looking hence the 4 stars but kids don't seem to mind.

A beautiful park which I am so lucky to have on my doorstop and which I walk through regularly. Very well set out and looked after by the Council. There is a bandstand, bowling green and woodland. There are tarmac paths and you can walk through the wooded area, but this time of the year (February) make sure you wear your walking boots! There is a children's play area as well as toilets.

It's a peaceful and lovely park where people can do a lot of things, such as: riding their bike, doing some gym, playing tennis, cricket or football. There is also a beautiful playground where children can have fun, a bowling area and long and nice paths where you can see all the beauty of the nature. Don't miss it, you won't regret it!

Spacious park 10 min drive from the city center or J21 which is brilliant for dog walking or visiting the playground with children. Facilities include a BMX track, a children's playground split into two contained areas, baseball field, wildflower meadows, small toilet block, free parking, bandstand, football pitches, changing rooms and a cricket pitch.

Great Park with large player area for kids and a large skate park. Pitches and open spaces for ball games as well as walking dogs. Open spaces sometimes have dog poo which is a pain, but otherwise a great place. There are tennis courts and picnic benches across the park.

It's a lovely park with an open gym, sandpit for kids, and other outdoor fun facilities for even older kids and grown ups too! I've run around the park several times in the past and have quite enjoyed it. I can't comment on the toilet facilities which are on site as I've never had to use them plus I'm quite local which works even better. My daughter enjoys a visit here every single time especially when we throw in a picnic!

The place is absolutely amazing. Firstly the skatepark is very well maintained with the council keeping it in great condition. There's a 5ft quarter , a rail, ledges , banks with decks, and a stair set. The park it self is huge with many attractions for the young ones along with exercise equipment and play areas. Then there's the dirt jumps. The dirt jumps are the best jumps I have been to. They are excellently maintained by the community and there's something for everyone. Big and small rollers , boxes and huge transitions. The community at western is like a family of which is very welcoming

Great park with 3 seperate play areas for children, a small basketball court (that could do with being repaved) a skate park and an outdoor gym. Lots of space to walk dogs and stretch your legs too. Beautiful on a nice summer's day, not tgat there are many of those to enjoy. Every now and then there are small family exhibitions which are also great.

A pleasant green space in the city. It's well used by the locals, but there are many nooks and corners if you want to feel away from the crowds. Plenty of paved paths, but also open grass spaces make this one of the best simple parks on this side of the city.

It's a slightly above average city park big open spaces and as long as you stick to those it's fine. When you get to the outer parts it feels a little less looked after. There's a large disused couple of buildings scattered around the outskirts which make it feel more dilapidated.

Nice park with plenty of walking areas and open spaces. Great for picnics and walking the dog. Kids will love it. There is also a scate park which is wonderfully maintained by the council. There is also a car park and toilets. The toilets are not great and really need a good clean. Overall a lovely park which is well worth a visit.

Loved it first time with grand daughters since before lockdown. Was so exciting to be able to have them and take them out. There were a lot of dogs around as we were in the grassed area as obviously Park part not open. Unfortunately some dogs weren't on leads and kept running towards the girls and due to a previous bad experience with a dog off a lead in a different Park, scared them both so ended coming home. Nothing wrong with the dogs today just unfortunately one dog has scared them both. Other than that it's a lovely place to visit and so much room you can certainly find an area to rest, sit and have a picnic and play.

The park is very large and spacious, has much green space and foliage and it feels as if you're in the countryside, while being just a minute or 2 from the city and nearby Hinckley Road. Great facilities for playing with kids and you can walk and ride bikes along its paths and main road (very slow traffic, speed humps).

Love it always clean, apart from mud when the rainy seasons here. This park used to be part of our schools cross-country coarse I've only just noticed they have planted trees all around the park so our coarse is no longer.

Really interestingly laid out park - it's a series of different fields and little bits of woodland all interconnected by little paths and is deceptively huge. So many different fields and areas to explore and always seems very peaceful and empty.

It's an excellent field... For multi purpose; dog walk or any sport. There are posts built in for football and amazing cricket pitches. Overall, it's wonderful to just walk around in the morning breathing fresh air.

The only poor facility on the park is the toilets which don't smell very pleasant the majority of the time and always look as though they need a deep clean, but they're there if you really need to go and can hold your nose for a few minutes.!!

It's clean and well-kept, although the drainage on the basketball court means its either covered in water, mud or leaves.
