Reviews of Hale Park

Lovely park and a nice walk to the estuary through the trees on a hot day. Ice cream van always there too! Bonus is a nice pub and on a beautiful village.

Great little Park with plenty of play area. A nice walk to lighthouse from here but beware not very pram friendly

Hale Park is a very well kept and nice park connected to a nice woodlands to go for a walk. It's near a couple of very nice pubs as well. Highly recommend

Council attempt to look after this park, unfortunately some of its visitors both local and from further a field do not hold the same approach as they leave litter and allow their dogs to poo without cleaning up behind them. There used to be a secure dog walking area which was fenced in. Unfortunately Halton council have not repaired after if was destroyed due to the storms last year.

I love this park, always clean and litter free. The enclosed dog area is the main attraction for me.
Unfortunately the dog run was unusable as most of the wooden fencing had been demolished, recent storms and fallen trees causing the damage.
I really hope the council repair this facility quickly as it is very well used.

A well kept park. It has a play area for children including a zip line (always a favourite). It also has an area for dogs off the leash which is great for the dogs and other users of the park. There is a hard standing area for ball games too.
It boasts an unusually high number of information plates describing the history of the land including one marking the spot an impromptu speech was given by Sir Winston Churchill in 1928.
For plane lovers, the park is very near the runway threshold for John Lennon Airport and aircraft are at only about 400 to 500 feet as they pass over. It's not intrusive because there aren't that many aircraft movements and you get a great view of the mostly Ryanair and Easyjet planes.

Fantastic play area for kids. Trails for dog walkers and bit of history at child of hale statue

Nice little park to take the dogs. Its set back off the road slightly so no worries about letting the dog off the lead.

Parks ok but stay away from Meffy ice cream van. Overpriced and got stung with a Scottish note. No manners and need a good scrub along with hardly any ice cream. Sad.

Peaceful and beautifully kept. Great starting point for trails through the woods and down to the Mersey shore from here.
