Very nice park for anybody to spend some time there for walking or setting around. Nice cafe in the park for a drink. Free parking around there. Well maintained.

Wow, to think, this park is approximately a five minute drive from where I work and, until yesterday, I knew nothing of its existence. It is visible from the A41 but I always drive along there and have my eyes fixed on the road ahead, sensibly. Edgwarebury Park is beautiful. It has a lot of interesting trees, which appear to have been grouped together with thought and design. It has some gardens within the boundary, where one can sit and cogitate, read or converse. It has paths, both hard and soft, along which one can walk, push prams, run or walk dogs. It has tennis courts, which were in use when we visited. It is largely free of litter. It is clearly well kept and there was evidence of tree planting and maintenance. There is a building close to a well equipped playground and outdoor gymnasium. The building houses ladies, gents and disabled toilet facilities, so rare in this day and age. It also contains an equally rare refreshments shop where one can purchase drinks and snacks. Edgwarebury Park is not only a breath of fresh air but also a reminder of days gone by, when things were done properly, with thought and care. It was a dull day yesterday with rain threatening but it was still a very pleasant experience. I can imagine the park being full of people playing, walking and generally having a good time on a hot summer's day. The park is not large but it has gone straight to the top of my list of favourite local parks.

A favourite park for my grandchildren, great playground and lots of exploring to be done. Lots of activities going on from football matches, tennis & basketball courts, outdoor gym, rose garden for quiet times also a cafe although closed in the winter and toilet facilities.

I love this park. Today being one in a series of wet ones, it wasn't as pleasant.There were puddles of water and streams of water flowing(perhaps from drains or the rain water cascading from a higher altitude- not sure) In the rose garden, plants had been pruned showing evidence of care. The canteen was serving as usual.People did seem to observe distance. A tape stretched showed the area for the queue. The entrance to the inside was blocked with a deep freezer. There was activity as usual; players in the all the courts- tennis, net ball etc . The children's play area was full of happy children. I found children particularly interested in the Zip wire(sling rope) .It was business as usual. The plants and trees were either washed or drenched in water, shrinking it on the floor with the wing. Overall nice and quite pleasant to the eyes.

Lovely place for kids and Teens to play, large field, good sitting areas. Generally ok. The restroom and the drink store wasnt open at the time I came with my little one, I dont know if this service has been suspended for a while. Other than that the park is a nice place to go to.

Love the park! Always have a great time with the family. Even if its a busy day, we always find a quiet spot for a picnic. It's clean, and there's a café that sells essentials if you need a drink or a snack. They even have water bowls for your furry friends!

Despite the modernised playground, maintained playing fields and tennis courts the atmosphere here is suggestive of a autumnal sigh. Obvious minimal hands-on intervention evident; formal bedding areas, shrubs, plants and arboretum verging towards the decrepit. Oodles of potential and in need of sustained reinventing but possibly hampered by budgetary restrains and/or lack of guiding vision.

I recently moved to this area. the park itself is alright but there were so many rubbishes left on the ground which did not look nice. I hope the local council will review the premises to add some more facilities and put more effort to clean the park.

It is a very nice park, with children's playground, with sports fields, with rest benches and even an ice cream and soft drinks kiosk.

Well kept park with tennis courts, play areas for children, ornamental gardens and where some of the land has been deliberately left wild. There is a cafe between the tennis courts and play area where the proprietors are helpful and friendly however there is only outside seating. The park is frequented by dog owners who often pass by the cafe and/or sit at the tables outside, so it helps if you like dogs!

Beautiful and very even keeled in chantingly varied park in terms of landscape and and vegetation displays. Lots of rhododendron and Azalea displays in May, rose garden, wooded parts interspersed with well sized grass expanses and places for individuals and families to sit and also for sports and having fun.

Great place! A truly beautiful Oasis in middle of a residential neighborhood. A real jewel. Tons of open space with well kept paths and gardens. The kids playground is particularly nice especially with the relatively new Zipline. It's a big hit with the little (and older) kids. Highly recommend.

Very nice park but could do with a lot better public toilets. The outdoor gym needs a bit of maintenance, like cleaning & oiling some parts. The arm spinning thing is pointless. And those racks for doing sit ups are very bad for you. You could really do yourself some serious back damage on those. They are completely wrong for sit ups & crunches. They look like torture racks. They could definitely do with a chin up/pull up station. Also it's too close to the kids playground. You often find kids take over the place & you can't properly use the various stations without being disturbed. Not a lot of thinking went in to this section of the park, as long as someone was able to tick another box for the council............

A well maintained park which is being developed into a beautiful nature reserve. Paths have been made through the woods and photos of the fauna put around the area so that you can recognise the different birds and animals. A very nice cafeteria and a well stocked and gated playground for children where dogs are not allowed. It is not huge but will take about half an hour to walk around the perimeter which is a very pleasant walk. There is a walled garden which is beautiful and tranquil, again dogs not allowed.

Very good park owned by Barnet Council. Parking was an issue. Got the feeling that local residents dont welcome outsiders in the area as they looked at you I an unwelcoming way. I will definitely go back again.
