Far to many substance users around and the constant smell of cannabis in the air. shame really nice decent sized park for kids to play in.

Small but beautiful park, closed during the night. It's a nice shortcut between Cable Street and the Highway.

A site of the historic Battle of Cable Street, where the people of East London clashed with Mosley's fascists - and won! The Battle is commemorated by a huge, amazing mural and memorial gardens. If you like your local history, well worth a visit.

Enclosed grassed area affords St.George the air, latitude and authority to still impact on the surroundings. A playground and rudimentary landscaping in a spacious surround with historical associations that’s somewhat dreary and autumnal. A touch of inspired intervention and invigoration would work wonders here.

There is a children's park attached here also. Its good, Sadly at night it is abused by people who discard their bottles of alcohol in the actual children's play area. Sad but true.

Beautiful park. I love the rose garden, there's roses of every color. There's a nice pond and area for events. It has so many different parts to it, so it's a great place for a walk.

Church Garden, there is a children's playground on the side of garden, very quiet, considering a very busy road at bottom of park, The Highway, park is enclosed with original railings small park completely safe from road exit and entrance the highway very close to wapping, tobacco Dock other entrance cable street not far from shadwell underground station, for quiet moments, children play safe.

These gardens are situated in the ground of the Saint George in The East Church, which has quite a bit of history about it, that is worth looking into, it has a few placards around to see why. The reason I like these gardens is because if you are in the area, it is quite nice to come and visit to sit down and have a quiet picnic, go and see the Cable Street Mural or even take your children to the play area. It is a nice place to meet as it is near Shadwell tube, so you can meet here if you are planning on going to Wapping just down the hill from the gardens, which is a nice area. I think if you are in the area and just want to have a sit down and chill out, this is the perfect place to go.
