V. S.Me and my youngest love having walks through here and going to feed the Robin’s. We like to go through the wood bits looking for dens, building them and exploring. People are very Friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere to the place. 😊
I. K.An area of landscaped old mining works which has been created into a nice area of woodland, imitation canal, scrub & heathland & hedgerows.
Well maintained footpaths allow short circuits for excercise in a generally built up urban area. Contant battle with littering & irresposible dog owners but plenty of work goes into maintenance & upkeep.
Some varied & interesting bird life mainly in the hedges if you're patient & quiet.
Nice little urban oasis of greenery.

S. C.Lovely peaceful area. Very relaxing and firm underfoot for those who are mobility impaired or have pushchairs. Great place for unwinding, walking the dog and enjoying nature.
a. p.Grate place to go walking with you dog 🐕, with plenty of wildlife to see if your quiet and know where to look .
D. O.It's nearly on my door step so can't not appreciate. However, litter should be picked much more frequently , especially in winter months. It's a good local place for dog walking.
S. M.Nice quiet Park for dog walking or a stroll. Links up to the local looplines with paved paths and bicycle trails. Includes signs showing the history of the area and signposts to other areas. Has only one bench for a rest.
I. B.Pleasant place to go for a leisurely walk. Lots of dog-walking on these paths. Some paths can be a bit muddy if there has been recent heavy rain.
T. S.Nice park with linking paths to other parks allows for a leisurely stroll around and a good place to let your four legged friend have a run and play
