Reviews of Victoria Park
M. B.
Always enjoy bringing the family here. Lots to do - more than you might think. Two play areas, nice cafe, basketball, board games, clubs, book take and share corner, table tennis, small football field and more. We recently took the children to the kitchen garden to help grow plants. It runs every Saturday between 1-3pm. There a lots of opportunities to volunteer and get involved. A real community park!

We spent the afternoon at Victoria Park with a few other families. The park has lots of room to spread out, to enjoy a picnic, relax in the shade, and play lawn games. The playground is a little dated, but it’s a good size. The little cafe is cute. I appreciated the “borrow a book” shelf.

Great little park for youngsters as well as older children, two parks one for the little ones and one for 5 upwards, couple of tennis courts basketballs courts, a 5 a side pitch, a little grass football pitch, a bowling green, the sundial and there is also a little plot of edibles with thyme, lavender and a few other plants growing. The newly built cafe ran by friends of Victoria park is a great addition. It’s a little hidden gem

Not a big park and generally we'll kept but the football pitch needs to be better maintained. Grass is allowed to grow too long on there whereas the bowling green is always maintained to perfect. Note events there with the cafe

Great park well kept. Picnic in the park in july is wonderful with little stalls, and live bands. Iwould highly recommended a visit.
