W. J.Always a nice walk along the railway line between the two pubs. Both pubs are nice, so dinner at one pudding at the other.
If you like old trains it a plus.
M. G.Lots of parking, the walk itself is really nice the only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because of others people who cant seem to clean up after their dogs!.
I am responsible and always clean up after mine. But there was so much it was almost every 50 yards of so. Be careful where you step, stop and have something to eat at brampton half if you can also very good and they welcome dogs

Thr surface of the car park is gravel there are rather large pot holes but these are more large shallow craters should be fine if you take it slow but for a free car park you don't expect it to be perfect.
P. J.It's a free car park over the road from the Windhover pub. A rather rough surface but does the job. Ideal if you are using the Brampton Valley Way for cycling or walking. I haven't used it recently but on the many occasions I did use it I experienced no problems whilst the car was left there for a considerable amount of time.

B. G.Ok but not the best for dog walker as inconsiderate bikers bomb it down the path with no care or concern. Beautiful scenery though.
