J. H.I love Gunthorpe by the water and looking at the bridge. There's a few pubs and a walk down the little lane as far as you want. The river just continues and you can walk for miles. It's never really busy during the day but gets hectic at weekends on Bank Holidays when the weather is sunny, like today! Perfect to stop off. There's a little patch of grass next to the car park which is great for a pit stop of picnic if you're wanting a break from driving. Well worth a look around and a drink.
E. T.Beautiful place for a walk and a spot of lunch. Watch out for the free roaming cows in the field near the lock though, expecially if your dog walking.
