Very large and very popular, this is a great place for all the family, even the four legged ones. Park for £1 all day or £30 for the whole year if you get a valid permit. The car park is large and you have the ranger’s office next to the toilets. As you walk into the entrance of the park there is a large child friendly play area and more toilets, which are eco friendly. You will meet lots of dog walkers but don’t worry, there are plenty of wide open spaces to let your dog free if you like, just ensure you can bring it back verbally rather than running after it. Park benches are scattered around the place and if the weather is nice this would make a cracking picnic place. Don’t forget your poo bags and if I were you I’d stick to boots or wellies. The best feature of the park is the dog assault course, it got really muddy but it’s great fun! Have a look and have fun!

Good size car park £1 for the day. Beautiful place to sit, walk, cycle, run and play . Families, dog walking , singles , couples . Bmx/Mountain Bike track. Play park and kids play area in woods , outdoor table tennis, plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by. Plenty of grassed areas for a picnic or games. Sit and watch the steam trains go by from the Ruddington Great Central Railway. Sit by or walk round the lake , feed the ducks,fish or birds. Bird/ duck food /fish food available to buy very cheap from the visitor centre. Cafes on the park and visitor centre plus toilets at the visitor centre . A great day out .

Great place for kids. It has a really good play park and an interactive exhibit in the woods near the car park. A nice little lake to feed the ducks and good area to walk around. Can be quite busy on sunny days.

Car Park shuts a little earlier than expected but luckily there is on road parking when I went for a walk. Wish it would stay open a little bit longer during summer times. Otherwise the park it self is clean and well maintained.

Since I first visited the Country Park the trees and shrubs have grown, changing what was initially a large open space into an amazing park. It would benefit from a permanent cafe, rather than weekends as it is at the moment.

This was a great place to spend a day or a few hours. I feel like it has been spoilt recently and the promoters never realised how popular it would become. The last time I went there was literally no where to park and it wasn’t a sunny day or anything. It is no longer a quiet place instead there are people everywhere and it’s difficult to keep an eye on your children. There are some great things happening there too and you can’t blame people for going. But it’s a bit spoilt now. To busy for me I’m afraid.

The car park at Rushcliffe is very convenient albeit too small to cope with demand, it also means that tight-wads that don't want to pay for parking park all the way to it, making driving conditions difficult and sometimes dangerous
