Reviews of Longton Brickcroft Nature Reserve
S. M.Beautiful place for a walk accompanied by a dog if you wish. All of the dog owners we ran in to were very friendly and handled their dog well around our puppy. The place has notices with rules, dogs on leads for example. Well maintained and looked after.
J. W.Very nice nature reserve with plenty of walks and areas to explore. There's free parking, a visitors centre and 3 large ponds. Nice that it's central to Longton and easy to get too.
C. B.Great place for a stroll with or without a dog. Free car parking. A visitor centre with toilets but it's not open every day. Plenty of Ducks and Squirrels to feed. Children will love it.

J. H.Lovely place on a sunny afternoon, there was plenty of parking and it wasn't too busy. The big ponds are so tranquil, especially the north pool which was a haven for ducks and dragonflies. Lots of baby birds around with some lovely goslings by the path.
Seems to have been really well looked after by the rangers, we will be going back!
Dog walkers note your dog must stay on its lead, so not a place to take them for a swim!
P. T.What a lovely place to visit and walk around. It's so peaceful, and nice to see all the wildlife. Not too strenuous a walk, and the paths are quite handy for children, prams and wheelchairs.
P. n. i.Just under half a mile around the lake. A meeting place for all manner of local people. Dog walkers and ordinary walkers out for fresh air.
Benches all the way round at regular short distances. Ideal for us oldies with mobility issues. A good car park. Recommended for oldies and families alike. The fattest duck and squirrels in the North West. Robins that will eat off your hand. A nature reserve with plenty for the photographer to take pictures of. Recommended.

E. A.Great place for a lovely quiet walk or a fishing day. If you take the dog around I've not seen anywhere off-leash so please keep this in mind. The surrounding area is nice too so don't be afraid to explore outside the reserve for a coffee or extending your walk. Certainly returning here soon
