A very nice place for a family dayout.

v. t.

Not the best park I have seen but enough shade to sit down in sunny weather. I did not see any children playground. There is a memorial for the Titanic engineers, which actually is better looking in dark due to lighting. Other than that not much to loose if you decide to walk through it.

In the city centre, next to shops, pubs and shopping centres. Huge space where you can ride your bike carefully, as there are a lot of people walking. Big playground which is always full of kids. Parking expensive, unless you walk from other carports.

Part of Central Parks of Southampton which comprises of 5 parks right at the heart of the city. Spectacular vibes being in the green, surrounded by tall buildings. Also a colour-changing water fountain which I have found entertaining

This extensive city centre park is full of wonderful floral exhibits, fountains, statues and war memorials. When we were visiting in July, it was also full of brightly coloured and patterned zebras too - the local children were all enjoying themselves finding as many as possible throughout the city, a bit like Pokemon Go but with actual, not virtual monsters.There are lots of quiet areas, grassy lawns and benches to rest. It's a lovely peaceful way to get from the north of the city down towards the waterfront.

A very nice park with lots of things to do. Mini Golf, Cafe, Tennis Courts, plus a great area to lay on the grass and relax. Fairly close to the main high street so you can take a quick break from shopping and then get straight back to the retail therapy. Nice park overall!

The park is gorgeous all year round and clearly has a lot of work put into it! Look out for the mosaic - I've lived in Southampton 20 years and hadn't noticed it until someone showed me recently. Lovely place to chill out during a lunch break or trip into town.

Peaceful and quiet, with cafe & 🚻 toilets as long as you can afford to pay what I consider an extortionate price. You cannot even have a seat in the grounds unless you pay for the 'privilege'. Otherwise good for kids & adults alike.

Along with the two neighbouring parks (that I personally don't really see why need to be separated parks as there is no boundary...) This park is a wonderful place. From the middle of the park, it's possible to sit in such a quiet area that you can forget you're in a city and simply relax. There are some interesting features, the park is generally very clean and well kept and there are areas for children, outdoor activities, events, nearby cafes with outside seating... Everything about this place is what a city centre park should be.

Travel through this to get to work its a very large park great on a hot day plenty of spots to sit. Big fountain. Great for catching pokemon. It is ruined by day drunks and homeless and definately avoid after dark.

Nice well kept park near the centre of town. Avoid walking through after dark, but nice for a daytime stroll. The wisteria walk is a particular highlight when in bloom.

It's a good park, the problem is that it's surrounded by heavily used roads, not a place that you would stay to relax unless traffic noise calms you down. Theres a dog cag, water fountain and plants around.

This is the bigger park of all around. Has a couple of interesting points and a nice straight walk with lampposts. In the north has a nice garden and a fountain as well.

Went in the evening, nice park with ample seating, interesting monuments placed around. Rats are common in the evening. Good for pokemon go-ers.

We had fun in the crazy golf (£2.50pp) it's a little tired but that added to the craziness! Parking is a major and expensive issue.. £4 for 2 hours!
