Lovely cafe and fruit scone , jam and cream, as well as brilliant company

Lovely centre to rest your legs whilst on the Common. Great little cafe with Italian coffee. Outside area by the pond. Good range of meals and cakes. Cosy and clean. Good place to meet friends for a coffee. Do a great Christmas lunch in December.

Lovely place for a coffee stop plus anything up to a 3 course meal! A short walk around the site (even at this time of year) there was enough to see. Well worth s visit after the lovely new park on the common. Just remember to have cash as no cards accepted!

Lovely little wildlife centre but even better is that the revamped cafe is just brilliant! Fantastic selection of food at very reasonable prices, whether you want lunch or just a hot drink on a chilly day it is a great place to come. Lovely friendly staff too. Be sure to look at the beautiful wrought iron gates on the way in!

Lovely place, but please make it dog friendly. Dog walkers are confined to sitting on benches outside the entrance. Perhaps you could put some pretty tables and chairs here to encourage dog walkers to stop and eat here. The entrance area could be made so pretty if the council could enhance it. 😁

Good place to bring the kids for a snack or bite to eat after they've worn themselves out cycling, scooting or just playing in the playground. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside by the pond and wait for the resident robins to hop down for crumbs. If it's a bit damp or chilly, the wildlife centre inside has lots for them to look at and play whilst you're waiting for food. They also do great pizzas at the weekend in a wood fired oven!

Excellent mini nature reserve, with a lot to do for children. Good teas and coffees, but the food is overpriced and not great quality - £5.20 last visit for a very sad-looking and tasting toastie.

Nice quiet place, nature based information boards, coffee, light snacks and public toilets. Pretty much an ideal place to use as a launch pad or last stop for parkland walks.

We had some lunch and a hot drink. My daughter had an egg mayo sandwich which was big chunks of egg that had been over cooked as the yoke was green. We also found egg shell in there so we took it back and asked for our money back. We had a tea cake which was supposed to be hot but came out cold and with minimal butter so it was very dry. Not impressed at all.

Great place to learn about nature set in the lovely area of southampton common. Cafe is truely superb value with deals like sandwich crisps and bottled water for £3 or bacon sandwich and coffee for £2.90

The actual wildlife side of it is okay the cafe part is not so good. They get really funny about food and drink not purchased there which is understandable but my 11 month old babys drink bottle???
