Absolutely stunning views
Some rough terrain and steep steps so not good if you have any mobility difficulties however can recommend a visit if ever in the area. The car park is free however very small so I would imagine in peak times it can get very busy, and on the website it does suggest if car park full visit on a different day as there are no alternative options.

Small but useful free parking area situated conveniently below Mow Cop castle. Good views over Stafforshire. Popular with dog walkers. No visitor facilities, care needs to be taken on aproach through the narrow village streets below.

Lovely village with amazing views from the free public car park. There is a short uphill climb to get to the folly of Mow Cop Castle. Lots of walks in the area.
I was pleased that there was an information board in the car park that explained the history of the area. Mow Cop also has several pubs and I'll recommend The Ash Inn where they have amazing restaurant quality food at very sensible prices, with large portions. The views from the terrace are fab there too.

The car park is a bit small, but the place itself is worth a visit, if you can negotiate the short shark and steep uphill to the folly

Nice to visit, was bit windy when I visited. Great scenery, can see Jodrel Bank in the distance...

Around 10 spaces in the car park, and not possible to park nearby, so 🤷.
But the folly is well worth a visit , beware it's big windy up there!

Really nice views from on top kids enjoyed climbing the rocks.

Lovely views and it would be a fun walk if there wasn't beer cans, broken glass and plastic bottles littering the place.
