m. w.I went there for a covid pcr test. It was lovely. I shoved the bud down my throat and whilst gagging my co-driver started looking really ill..after that I shoved and twisted it up my nose till I got grey matter on the end of it. The sun what shining. It was wonderful.. Would highly recommend for a day out. Beats going to the funfair or anything like that. It's free and highly entertaining.
R. W.Have used this place as a Covid-19 drive In test centre several times, and other than Google maps directing to the wrong entrance, this place is extremely well organised, signage is clear and the medical staff were very kind and helpful and knew what they were doing!

In September 2020 you can do the test here only if you have an appointment and the QR code of it.
We didn't have this and we were redirected to the Swindon County Grounds, near the stadium. The test can be done there without appointment.
The site seemed well organised and the driving access were relatively easy to follow also.

A. J.Simple and effective. There is usually enough of parking available and the bus services run fairly well. Yet, it can't be compared to best in class being Oxford.
The waiting area is quite poor and the toilets are not in a great condition. There was virtually no heating so don't get your hopes up too much. Must be great in the summer.
The opening hours are ok but the car park shuts so make sure you can leave...

A. F.What can I say about a park and ride car park? This one is a fairly standard example with a reasonable number of spaces (shared with staff from the nearby Nationwide Building Society). It's entirely open air, all on ground level. There's a small waiting room for when the weather is bad and the bus is on its way.
Recent improvements in late 2017 have been the addition of an exit onto Pipers Way, which makes it more convenient for travellers going anywhere other than Wroughton. Previously the only exit was onto Croft Road and if your journey was taking you away from Wroughton there was an inconvenient diversion and U-turn required to get anywhere else. Both exits are under traffic light control so it's easy enough to get out of the car park even during peak hours.
What else do you need to know about a Park and Ride? Perhaps it's worth noting that some of the footways are in need of a little moss removal (meaning they can be a little slippy) and in snowy times the car park itself can become rather slippery with compacted ice. But that's common to most open air car parks.
