Love Dale end Park. A play area for the children, lots of paths for walks and exploring along the river. Also, there are pubs that can be accessed for both food and drink. If there hasn't been too much rain, this is also a good spot to launch paddle boards and kayaks.

Playground is for children and nice place for walking. Car parking is quite cheaper and closer to the center.

L. C.
Nice quiet spot in the world heritage site of Ironbridge. Plenty of paths to explore, benches to relax on and green space to play on. The river Severn runs alongside the park. Plenty of parking for a small fee, and an easy walk into the centre of Ironbridge for shops, cafés and other amenities.

Wonderfull walk around the river. In autumn you can collect conkers from a tall central horse chestnut tree. Very open space, has a small park next to it and a café near by. Overall, an amazing day out for the family.
A. A.
Beautiful forest for a nice family walk or picnic with picnic tables. Clean and tidy with nice sculptures open spaces, pond and wooded areas. V hard to park though as set within a housing estate, no loos/swings/play area/tea room (as far as we could tell), but doesn't get very busy (perhaps for these reasons) so lovely and peaceful.
C. R.
Lovely park to visit. Small though but lots of green area to walk through and a path beside the river which is very scenic. Parking very limited and is charged on normal days (pre covid) so bear this in mind when planning a visit.

I. D.
A lovely place to walk you dog. A pretty park with the river running along side. Once you finish your walk pop into the cafe in the antique emporium for a nice snack, great soup!
J. W.
Nice park for the kids. Right by the river and easy parking available. £2.90 all day. Lots of space for kids to run around. Only a 5 min walk to iron bridge itself.
D. S.
Loved the calm ambiance of the park. Very relaxing on a summer's day. Flower beds are an array of colour adding splashes of vibrant colour to the park. A tribute to the gardeners' work.
Only downside was a lack of respect shown by parents to the gardens. Whilst children happily played football in the gardens, they were unsupervised. They were running freely through the flowers chasing the football. This seems ridiculous with a picnic area only yards away with open space!
Whether anything can be done to educate parents is an unanswerable question!
S. G.
We love coming here. The park always looks beautiful with lots of flowers. Just a short walk to the Ironbridge where we love to grab chips and sit by the river. Antiques centre and tearoom are also a worthwhile visit.
R. K.
Beautiful. Kids had a good time

E. T.
Love Dale end Park but I'm deducting 1 star because the best bit about Dale End used to be the little wooden play area at the back of the hotel.
L. C.
A great open space for all the family to enjoy, whether you want to play games on the grass, picnic under the trees, or have a stroll along the riverside. And of course the fabulous views of the Cooling Towers at the end :)

Visited here to see the WW2 event weekend. This park is a little hidden treasure in Itonbridge. Situated right on the banks of the River Severn you could sit and picnic here in the summer then pop over to the Pubs afterwards. It was sunny when we went and had an absolute lovely day finishing it off sitting on a bench by the river chatting about life. Perfect.

We parked here as it was advertised as a long-stay car park, for our visit to the Ironbridge museums. The car park was very well priced and we just left the car here all day whilst we fucussed on the museums that were in walking distance (quite a few of them). The car park was easy to find, well laid out and easily navigable! Would definitely re-use!
R. H.

Telford & Wrekin Council tries hard with Ironbridge and Dale End Park. But with money tight due to the #coronahoax and poor funding from Whitehall, everywhere is looking a bit tired and neglected. Let's hope for better times ahead, post-Boris.
J. W.
Not as well kept as when ross the gardener was employed full time. Heloved the place and knew it inside out. Putting things out 2 tender does not always result in the best outcome.
