Small car park behind Sky Blue restaurant (formerly Regency), just outside York City Walls. We've been using it for a few years now, as it's reasonably priced, easy to get to and not too far a walk from the city centre. Since I've last been (probably pre lockdown), it's been taken over by NCP. You will need to download the ParkPass NCP app to pay, RingGo and paybyphone apps per older photographs are no longer valid (correct as of 11th June 2022).
