It is nice small station in the middle of Great Britain, you can travel anywhere from here. There are some shops and cafés . The station is about 5 min walking to the city centre of york.

A decent car park, very large alot of spaces! At first I thought it was expensive but thinking about it, to park in a busy city centre, its actually cheap. If you do park here the pay terminal isn't in plain sight. You need to walk onto the platform from the car park and they're just inside.

A stunning but very busy station which trys it's best to accommodate for the disabled.

Good price after 9:30 am for the day. The entrance wasn't obvious: when you turn in facing the station, bend round to the left (don't get put off by no-entry signs, which are to the right only). Pay before you leave at the end of your stay. The machines are inside the open end of the station, past the bike racks, by the nearest platform; not easy to find. When I left several registrations including mine weren't recognised by the machines but pressing for help got good guidance from a staff voice.

Perfect central location to park for a whole day. Payed £5 for all day Saturday until late.

Overall, not too bad but it's a bit expensive. The car park here is tucked away beside the railway station. It's fairly close to the town centre - roughly a 5 minute walk - and quite well sheltered. One day off-peak is £7, or on-peak is £14. Depending on what you're using it for, it may or may not be worth parking here.

York is york station has friendly staff. Easy read departure board. Lifts disabled and or deary toilets. Bit of a bind when toilets are closed after 6pm only access is on a platform. Can travel north south east and west by bus or train from here. Easy walk into town or short bus ride to town centre or the out of town park and ride points and the out of town shopping park.

Great carpark, so much cheaper than the others, £7 all day on Saturday and sundays which was really good, there is loads of spaces too, you pay for your car ticket on platform one (just follow the sign for bike parking )
