Just completed the 2919-01 course here and having completed courses at various other providers throughout the country this is definitely one of the best. Friendly staff, good facilities with smart, spacious air conditioned classrooms. Our tutor, Richard definitely knows his stuff, very informative and along with the well structured yet relaxed approach to teaching, made for a thoroughly enjoyable course. Lunch was also good, not a limp cheese sandwich in sight!!

Attended for my EV training course, what an absolute legend Richard is, so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If any apprentices are looking for a college to go to this is top of the list, Richard made it so easy to understand and his guidance is fantastic really appreciate the time spent tutoring us. Just in the process of completing my 2391-52 exams following my course last week. Had a good but intense four day course with a lot of information to digest. Informative tuition from the tutor Rich with a professional delivery. Will be looking to sit my EV qualifications here in the not so distant future.

I have taken both the 2382 (18th Edition) and 2391-52 (Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing) courses at Birmingham Electrical Training and have been extremely happy with the level of tuition provided. Both Kieron and Rich who delivered the courses were knowledgeable, helpful and clearly experienced in the industry. Would recommend the centre to anyone.

I can only speak positively about Birmingham Electrical Training, the tutoring staff, the training officers and the admin staff have been exemplary with not only myself but my colleagues each time we have undertaken training courses, the support given to me has not just been confined to the four walls of the college but outside of it too. John Sims has created a facility to be proud of and I will without hesitation be sending all my apprentices to complete their programme with John and his excellent team. I have found everything needed to complete each course successfully to be readily at my disposal. Dave Morris is a shining light in the company and nurtures each of his candidates from start to finish in completing and obtaining their coveted Gold Card, Leanne Davis and Tom in the Admin department have personally been amazing with myself from start to finish always answering any queries to the best of their ability and keep the day to day running of the centre as seamless as possible with their efficiency. I personally find that reviews on this platform which are negative are a result of the candidate not applying themselves appropriately and using everyone they can as a scapegoat as in a nutshell you only get out of the course what you put in to it, if you apply yourself correctly the college and staff will support you throughout, this trade is a difficult one to grasp and any negativity in classrooms impedes the ones that want to learn. John and his team care for all their students and I have witnessed this first hand with Johns approach to students who don't necessarily have a great home life, he gives them a purpose to succeed in life and for that I cant commend him enough, this college is brilliant and I recommend it to any would be sparks!!!!!!!!!!

Easy to find - great tutors and informative courses. The tutors have an expanse of knowledge second to none and are adept at imparting it to students. If my company decides to send me here again I will be enthusiastic about it.

I have attended two courses at BET and received excellent support both times. The staff are very welcoming and can't do enough for you. You get food on each course and an unlimited supply of coffee/tea. I will be booking my testing and inspecting with them soon. Highly recommend.

I was dealing with a lady called Lisa. she made the whole process extremely simple, she was extremely positive and more than helpful she actually went out of her way to help people. 10 out of 10 for center. PS there is a gun shop next door which is worth looking around in.

My son attends BET and I am so grateful for the attention they give him. The man on the phone was so patient with me, I asked so many questions and they really helped me understand the apprenticeship process. My son says that his training officer is always asking if he needs any extra support and keeps him motivated. Moms if you want safe hands send them to BET.

BET have Turned my Life around i have recently becoming a Fully Qualified Electrician. I cant express enough the amount of support the Staff Have given me over the years. I started my Apprenticeship with JTL to Begin with and felt i was just another number to them, calling out for help (The Job i was in didn't seem sufficient enough to gain the experience i needed) with no response i decided to Leave and move to BET ( best decision i ever made) long Story Cut Short i Managed to find a more convenient company in which BET (Jack) invested the time to ensure they were right for my apprenticeship any problems i had he was there to help all i had to do was ask, . I was Visited numerous times on site by my Training Officer . overall Amazing Company and i hope to work with them again soon THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I have recently completed my Electrical Apprenticeship at Birmingham Electrical Training, I cannot recommend this training provider enough. BET is a welcoming, friendly and supportive organisation who have all helped me considerably over the past 4 years and enabled me to become a fully qualified Electrician. I would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you to John Sims, the MD, he runs a very good business and clearly has a passion to making sure the next generation of electricians are well qualified and have a good solid experience. I would also like to mention Steve Merricks, Steve as a training officer has mentored me and supported me through my NVQ even though I was unlucky to lose my job, Steve on hand to help and offer advice. I would recommend any young or mature person looking to become an Electrician to apply to BET I cannot thank them enough for the opportunity they have given me.

Great facilities and lecturers. You definitely need four days to do this course, a lot to take in. Trainers were down to earth and helpful. office staff were welcoming and friendly. I am going back for more of the great food served at lunch.

Sound experience at BET! Completed 18th Edition here and can't fault the place. Trainer was sound, staff friendly and delivery was great. 4 days of good food and passed the exam first time - happy days!

Recently completed my 18th Edition and would recommend! Taking on an apprentice with them come September as had a look round the facilities and think they are spot on. Will be using them for more courses.
