I would definitely recommend Ash as a personal trainer. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise regarding fitness, exercise and nutrition. His patience , understanding and friendly approach put me at ease and he clearly puts a lot of effort in to tailoring workouts according to specific needs. I am recovering from a leg injury and have some ongoing health issues, Ash has been very helpful and reassuring and is helping me regain my confidence and rebuild my fitness levels.

Around two years since my final session with Ash and I’m still doing regular exercise every week. This is definitely thanks to Ash and his support as I’ve never been able to stick to a training routine before, despite trying many times. Ash helped me to view exercise differently and talked of the many actual benefits beyond the often unattainable six pack abs. He also made our sessions fun, interesting, instructional and always to the intensity level that I requested. I still use many of the ideas that Ash introduced and still find them beneficial. On top of that he’s a great guy.

I am just coming to the end of my 3 month jourmey with Ash at Optimal Personal Training. I can honestly say that Ash is a warm and fun person and very experienced in what he does. His tailor made programme to meet my needs, has accomplished the weight loss and fitness goals I wanted to achieve. It was definitely a great and informative workout with alot of exercises and techniques I could take away!
I really enjoy working with Ash, great guy with a great deal of knowledge. My session was specifically designed around key areas I wanted to work on and adapted around me while I performed the exercises.

I cannot recommend Optimal Personal Training enough. Before I met Ash he asked about my goals so he could tailor my consultation appropriately.....I asked for a magic wand! "For the first time in my life to get fit; lose weight; tone up; feel healthier and happier and have more energy physically and mentally". Too much to ask I said.....Ash said immediately all was possible. 6 weeks later I can confirm he was right. I have lost weight but that's not what I'm really grateful for, I am fitter (although still can't cope with Burpees!!!), I am more toned, I feel healthier, happier and have more energy mentally and physically. A long way to go, and it isn't easy but Ash makes it easier and possible. Wish I'd started sooner and would recommend to all my closest friends. Also to add, better than a gym membership as this actually happens, more intense and more personal to your needs. If you're thinking about it, go for it, you won't regret it, it can only bring positives.

Ash is exactly what I was looking for in a personal trainer. He’s patient, but pushes you. He’s good company, but professional. He listens to what you require and fashions a regimen around what you like and don’t like.
I’ve found him to be a great balance of personable and professional. He treats me like a person and respects my pace, but knows how to push me. After only my 4th session I’m already seeing an improvement.
He doesn’t feed you any BS either. He doesn’t try to sell you any supplements or push any fads. He’s all about exercising properly and eating well.
