Kevin has been my coach now for 18 months and it just gets better and better. He always understands my goals and works with me to keep achieving them. Whenever I have an injury or challenge he is quick to adjust to my needs. He cares about my mental state as well as my physical well-being. I am now living between different countries and he is just so accommodating with coaching and programming. I came to Kevin for Olympic weightlifting coaching and have been working with him for about 3 months now. As a national level master’s athlete in a different sport, I have had my fair share of different coaches and Kevin is easily amongst the very best I have worked with. Kevin is incredibly personable, with the only thing rivalling his knowledge of the sport being his enthusiasm for it. No question is too stupid to ask, and he has a canny ability to explain complicated movements and ideas in simple to understand ways which are easy to recall. Every session has been a clear progression of compounding drills which have led to me already being able to put together a competent power snatch and clean. I'd strongly recommend anyone in the Bournemouth area looking to improve their Snatch or Clean and Jerk work with Kevin.

Kevin is a fantastic PT I had a block of strength training to help improve my form when squatting. Kevin made me feel very comfortable from day one, he took me back to basics and not only has my form improved dramatically but I've also added weight to the bar. Kevin is great at making you feel comfortable and pushes you to perform to your max. He's great with communication is is happy to review videos remotely and helps track your progress in between sessions. He is great at advice. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

As a coach myself I appreciate how hard it can be to take that first step and reach out for help - but I am so glad that I did.
I have worked with Kev for the past 9 months, largely gearing towards passing my coaching strength and conditioning accreditation. During this time, not only has my technical ability improved exponentially across the multiple disciplines that are required for it (olympic weightlifting, speed, agility and plyometrics, effective programming) but I have also found myself implementing some of the strategies that Kev and I have used during our sessions together with some of my own clients (passing the torch, I guess you could say).
I cannot begin to thank Kev for the time and patience that he has given to help me improve and the knowledge that it has left me with. It has made me both a better athlete and a better coach at the same time, and for that I am extremely grateful.
If you are looking for a coach, then I cannot recommend him more.

I first approached Kevin with zero background in sport, wishing to learn Olympic Weightlifting. Fast forward half a year, and I've just done my first competition. I owe this to Kevin's experience, professionalism and patience.
Kevin has a passion for his clients' improvement. Thanks to his guidance, my lifting has completely transformed. I can't emphasize enough how much I've learned from working with him. It feels like this is just the beginning, as Kevin can always push you to do your best. I feel stronger (physically and mentally), more confident and most importantly, much happier with myself.

Kevin is an absolutely incredible coach and personal trainer. I came to him when I sought a coach who would help me overcome an injury and subsequent surgery I went through. He helped me rehabilitate my ankle into better shape than it was prior to the injury! I managed to reach my goals through out of the box thinking, and new ways to attack my programs and this caused me to excel in all areas of sports performance and within the weight room.
As a person Kevin is a straight talker, he won’t sugarcoat or be a yes man and baby sit you through a workout. He will help you excel and push yourself, this is EXACTLY what you need from a coach. He is also great with communication, always willing to give constructive, honest and helpful feedback.
Since meeting Kevin, he has inspired me to continue his principles of training and I have never had better results in the last 10 years of training than i did when I got onboard with coach Kev!!

Kevin is one of the best PTs/Coaches I have observed in any gym over a number of years. He started training me to help me transition from a long term injury where despite my efforts, physio rehab was making limited progress and was very frustrating. We have only physically done 2 PT sessions and the remainder of the work was remote programs with ongoing coaching feedback and support, throughout the pandemic period, meaning home training with alternative equipment and exercises. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and has helped me progress back to a regular training exercises and stronger in my weak areas than I was prior to injury. For this I will be forever grateful. I can’t thank him enough for his expertise and would recommend Kevin to anyone who is prepared to commit, work hard and progress to achieve whatever goals they have.

He is motivating, very knowledgeable and keeps the classes challenging whilst keeping the differing abilities together. I somewhat taught myself the basics of
Olympic lifting but it wasn’t until I started being coached by Kevin that I really saw an improvement in both my strength and technique. Kevin is truly passionate, both about his own training and that of his clients, knowing how and when to push you and emphasising the fundamentals and the basics. He invests in his clients by purchasing the best equipment with which to train, it’s such a pleasure using top of the range Eleiko bars and plates.
He is the only coach I know who’s idea of a holiday is to go and get beasted at a training camp with the great Klokov himself.

I have always been terrified of exercise due to my heart condition and countless visits to the hospital because of broken ICDs in my chest. I approached Kev with the task of bettering my life by changing my fitness. He's always been very understanding of my worries and condition.
